Ill start off by saying this is about a month overdue but I rarely write reviews... These guys are great. Ive had my share of experiences with repair shops from good to horrible and this shop is really top notch.About a month ago I contacted NW Diesel because I noticed a sound coming out of the rear end of my 2014 Ram 3500 and we were about to leave for a trip. Since I had work done from this shop before I thought I could give them a call and do a soft diagnose over the phone to ease my mind about the trip or to cancel because of some safety issue. Ethan (the owner) told me that they were booked out a couple of weeks as this was the busy season but that I should come down that day so he could take a look real quick. I drove down there and he diagnosed my U-joint failing... he thought it was too dangerous to take on a trip so he fit me in right then and there. There was no room in the shop because they were so busy so he and Jason replaced it on the street. I was totally astonished at the level of customer service these guys provided me. Ethan even came out and shop-vacd my airbox because I asked if I could buy a new filter from them (mine needed changing and I thought if I was there I might as well get a new one). I will be going here for any and all diesel needs. Awesome work guys, thank you.

These guys replaced the head gasket on my 12 valve and installed and retorqued ARP head studs to keep the steel slabs sufficiently together. I couldnt be happier with the end result. I have a lead foot and love to use all of my trucks modifications to their fullest potential. The work the guys at NW Diesel have done to this monster has held up perfectly well to my abuse over the past several months and a few thousand miles.Also, Nelson, their contact guy, is a great guy to work with. His memory about case-by-case details, as well as his knowledge about diesel rigs are impressive. I will go to them again as future needs dictate. Thank you guys!

Good to see the shop busy, but still able to get me in quickly for a routine oil change. Ill be back for more extensive service that is in my near trucks near future. No reason not to highly reccomend them for basic service or extreme upgrade, including engine swaps.

Several return trips for repair of there repair work, they have to many irons in the fire with zero management & accountability. They didnt tighten a ground wire one of my batteries & it boiled over acid ruined my engine & compartment & all the new upgraded parts. Havent heard a word from them since. DO NOT RISK YOUR INVESTMENT!!!

Pretty happy with my first time using them. They found and fixed the fuel problem I came in with and identified another problem for me and fixed it before it cost me more. All that and still cost less than I expected

I took my 99 7.3l in with an oil leak. Ethan and his team were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Ethan looked over my whole truck and said it was great. Fixed the rear main seal for less than the dealer would and had it back to me within a day. I found my Diesel mechanic!

I took my 06 ram 3500 to these guys after having it at another shop for three months. They quickly diagnosed the low power issues as a broken ring on the back cylinder. They rebuilt the motor with all the best parts. Arp studs on the top and bottom end o-ringed head and a new intake and my bill was still less than the dealer. This truck has never ran this great and I’m so glad to have a diesel shop that I can trust in my own backyard.

I would NOT recommend this shop to anyone! Had an AC compressor replaced ($800), 2 days later, it stopped working. They accused me of breaking the wire harness during an oil change. I didnt change the oil! $90 later they replaced the clip.! year later, compressor is leaking oil. Now another $800, and getting it fixed again!

I was having problems with the turbo on my 2008 2500 Dodge. After doing some preliminary work they did change out the turbo with one that was an after market. So happy they did, I have more power on demand than with the old turbo. Thank you Ethan.

I took my 04 f250 super duty here to have my ICP sensor replaced. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. Ethan was friendly and helpful. My truck is running great now and I will definitely take it back here again.

Super friendly and good priced. I had a coolant leak that I had pinpointed where it was coming from and way 99.999 percent sure about the location. I took it to a different shop to have them look at it. The tried to sell me headgaskes for 8 to 10k. I told them to f*** off. Took it to nw diesel and told them what had happened and what I thought the problem was. They put it on the lift and looked it over. It was a $5 gasket that I thought it was. I have had my truck back now for a month with zero problems. They got a customer for life.

I chose this place based on reviews... that being said I had the experience to work with Ethan I asked for a quote he took down all the information... and told me to give him a week a week goes by ... so I decide to call and get a update after a week ... and after talking to him numerous times and promising me he was gonna call me back ... still never has ... completely wasted my time !!!

Every call,question, and expectation was met with the upmost professionalism the quality of work was amazing and the price was the best in the US. After talking with over 15 shops Im glad I made the choice of NWD. When I took delivery of my truck all work was explained in great detail. I am a mechanic myself and dont trust many people with my vehicles. Much less let them work on them.NWD has a forever customer now from 2298 miles away. If you want quality work there is no other choice than NWD. Give Ethan a call youll be glad you did for years to come.P.S. theres only one problem they are to far away to stop in every week for me but if Im ever in there neck of the woods you can bet Ill be by there.

Have yet to find a more competent and work conscience diesel tech in the marysville Everett area. I am a mechanic with 25 years in the field but i use this place when something stumps me. I have never seen their work to be anything but properly done, cleanly installed and on time. if you want your truck fixed right and done on budget go to these guys, if you want it done poorly over budget and slap dash head on over to the diesel dr also known as the kavorkian of ford trucks.

Went there for an oil change and didnt have an appt, just stopped in after work. They got me in right away and was done within 20mins. This place is great.

I recently had a 6.0 Ford Powerstroke bullet proofed by NW Diesel. The truck has never felt better with ARP studs, EGR delete, coolant filter, and too top it off an Edge CTS tuner. This truck can really move. I feel like I got a really great deal.

These guys tied up my truck for week and didnt even diagnose the issue. I had to take to another shop. Later found engine control module. It should been 4 hour job to repair. Zero stars.

Scheduled service over a week out, was the only vehicle on the schedule and they never touched my vehicle. Went and picked it up and never got a call to reschedule. Avoid it!!! Terrible experience!

It would do this companys business well to improve their followup with their customers; however, that being said, our Ford truck is working well after having a Cummins engine installed
