Was in town to visit family. My wife and I went to check out the international section. For a smaller town it had a decent selection. Id suggest this place to find that new food youve wanted to try. We bought some lamb steaks. They were delicious.

Lots of selections on groceries. Walmart has lost stock during this pandemic, but it looks like Giant Eagle is doing better.

Greatest selection in the area, they have a extensive meat section with just about anything plus a regular deli and a steak/seafood deli. If you cant find it here you wont find it anywhere else!

Bought lobster claws in large bags for $22. Kept them frozen, fixed this evening, cracked them open to find grey meat. The only white meat was the little bit in the center. Praying they dont make me sick.

Giant Eagle is great. Staff are helpful and friendly, the store is well kept and I can always find what I need/want. The produce section is always fresh. The bakery is heavenly (I will always go there for bread, cakes, cookies and pies). The meat and seafood counter is well stocked and diverse. The deli always has everything you need and a great place to grab lunch or dinner.

They had no white queso. Their tea bags are priced a $1 higher than Walmart. And their tortilla chips were $2 higher. Only reason we stopped there is because its closer to where we live. Otherwise......I have to give a star for cleanliness and a star for fresh produce.

This is a well maintained, clean and well stocked store. Customer service is top notch and they have a great meat selection. The store has the feel of an old fashioned grocery store, which is something that brings me back.

People say its a little pricey but I personally like going there. People are nice and if you want h you can get just about as much there as anywhere else. Lets face it, everything is going up. Still a good store.

Pharmacy does great job

I ordered a unicorn cake that they have offered to order on their website from the bakery. It looked nothing like the image. The eyes were on upside down and ears were in the totally wrong spot. The pink icing around the sides wasn’t nicely done. They misspelled it after I explained three times on the phone what I wanted, then argued with us at pickup to tell us we were wrong and they were right. Eventually after some discussion, they agreed to fix the writing. I will NEVER again order a cake from the Marietta Giant Eagle.

I had just bought the worst veggie tray ever today. The celery was made from scraps ans even had some of the leaves stuck on the bottom of the tray, the cauliflower was cut in two large chunks. I usually get pretty good stuff there, but this one time, I grabbed it and headed to checkout without looking it over. Ill not make that mistake again. From now on Ill buy the produce and make my own.

Nice store so far. I havent officially done monthly shopping here, as I am currently switching from another major grocery where after years of continual support has lost my business due to repeated customer service issues. I am just fed up with them, so hopefully GE will grow on me and provide better customer support. Fingers crossed 🤷‍♀️

Best produce and meat departments in the area. Produce is fresh and there is a selection. Meat and seafood are fresh and good looking cuts done on the premises. Bakery is well done. Prices are higher but discounts on grocery and gas overcome many of those prices. The only problem is the selection in dry grocery is not as good as Wal Mart.

Im disappointed that they dont offer curbside pickup.

Great place to shop! Its got a great selection of meats, including the more exotic ones such as lamb, bison burger, duck, goose and even alligator steak! Its also got just as great of a selection for seafood!! Everything from the basics to the exotic as well, such as shark fin and swordfish steaks to crawfish! You want it, they probably have it! They also have a great selection of ethnic foods for all cultures.

You may pay a bit more but the products are good. A few items I cant find anywhere else.

I have shopped Giant Eagle for 13 years. The fuelperks are awesome! Also, can save food perks for % off food purchase. Very easy place to shop & employees are always polite & helpful. They will help you shop & load into your car. Better than most stores in the area!

Giant Eagle has long been a preferred choice for me. When we moved into the area and tried this particular store, we appreciated the bright clean produce and the overall cleanliness. The aisles seemed a bit cramped since its a smaller than average store (in my experience), but easy to maneuver. We came looking for a particular cut of meat and the helpful staff were able to assist us immediately. We walked out with more than we came looking for!

Its the last grocery store with an emphasis on quality. They get consumables in and right back out,...if you notice your milk, your yogurt etc... are good for longer. The meat is fresh and tastes better. And theres someone who makes sure everything is dated appropriately. ( I dont feel like i have to check the date on every item I put in my cart, which is so comforting) they even have a double-your-money-back guarantee and a scan-right guarantee . Its certainly quality!The only thing I dont care for ( and this still would not stop me shopping there ) is they dont tend to carry any of the larger sizes of things. Say you get salsa .. Theres generally a variety of sizes... a medium amount is about as much as youll find on anything that is sold like that. But many customers are college age, older consumers who Im guessing have smaller household sizes. Which that would be appropriate but sometimes there r things u use more of.

Produce is good here. I find that the bakery goods are usually more expensive that their local competitors. Same for dairy (milk, butter, cottage cheese). Havent tried many meats here. Went there today to buy diet coke on sale.

Giant Eagle in Marietta is my GO TO foodie shop.Meats, seafood, bread, wine, cheese, olives, produce, they got it.Quality, freshens, availability at a great price and extremely courteous, helpful staff.

Great neighborhood grocery store

The atmosphere is nice. Their selection of unique and international foods beat most in the area. Theyre pricey but thats to be expected. Aside from a few random deals you can stumbled across, Giant Eagle tends to be more expensive for everyday products as well. Enough to make me go elsewhere when I need to buy many things. Their meats are ample, fantastic and fairly priced. If Im planning to grill out, Giant Eagle is the first place that comes to mind. Bottom line: Good variety but sometimes too expensive. Worth a try regardless!!!

Love shopping in a GROCERY store. So much nicer than a one stop all store. Prices are mostly competitive. Store is always clean and employees are friendly and helpful. The Pharmacy is convenient too.

Some parts of the store are a little tighter than others, but its still easier to maneuver through than Walmart!This Giant Eagle is very well stocked, and one of my go-to places for fresh produce. Also, I love that you can use their rewards program for discounts on groceries now! Definitely makes the prices that much more affordable.

I have been going to this store for years and I love it.

Had everything I needed. Right place,right time.

Have tried to get giant eagle 1% chocolate milk gallons which they carry but have been out of for 2 plus months without any success. I have repeatedly told management about it and all anyone there does is blame someone else. Theres a place on the shelf but nobody seems to care. I guess its time to get some at KrogerManagement acts irritated whenever I bring it up. Happy trails!

Really nice store. Great meat and seafood departments! The cashiers need some work, The older ladies are pretty miserable and tend whip your groceries down belt. letting your items pile up and crushing the bakery items especially the bakery items. And when they pack your bags it’s the same.. heavy stuff on top of soft... and they rarely speak or have eye contact. Other than checking out the store is great overall.

We love giant eagle it has everything you want and real good prices. Our home town place to go and get fresh food and real good meatand e:ery FRIDAY we get one dozen cookies you can mix if you want to for five dollars just one more great thing at our giant eagle supermarket.

I wouldnt normally rate a market like this but I have to say this place is a very poor representation of what Ive seen in other Giant Eagles. They dont seem interested in making it a better quality market, but want to charge high prices as if it is.It appears af if the remote ownership thinks that the Southeastern Ohio customers dont matter.

I was disappointed today when I shopped the Marietta, OH store. Many of the employees were not wearing masks nor wearing gloves. This is inexcusable.

I like shopping here because of the special and good prices when I use my advantage card.

Wide selection of breads and other products at the bakery, all of which have been great; the deli counter has an unusual selection of tasty cheeses and delicious meats, a little pricey but well worth the expense; the olive bar is sublime, a wide selection of beer and wine and the staff in each department is knowledgeable, professional and treats the customers like family. You might save a few dollars at other grocery stores but you wont get this type of quality and value in your shopping trip.

I travel all over and its my favorite grocery store in the country. Always smiling faces from Amy in the butcher Department to Lisa up front its always a great place to shop!
