Publix is a great place to grocery shop. Their quality of food (meet, dairy, produce) is amazing, and their customer service is second to none (friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable). The stores are well lit, stocked, neat and organized. Yes. You may be able to find better value elsewhere. But, for the reasons I mentioned above, Publix is where I mostly shop.

I went to this Publix location because I was passing it on my way to somewhere else. Its not my usual Publix. However, my experience here will likely have a major impact on it becoming so. At checkout, I was fortunate to have both Tiffany AND Nancy. Tiffany, might have been a manager as she was helping Nancy properly process some vouchers I had. Both of these ladies were extremely patient, warm, friendly, and helpful. All things we as customers all deserve and expect but unfortunately rarely receive these days. These ladies were certainly a breath of fresh air and a true asset to the company. I hope this review finds itself into the right hands. These two ladies deserve some recognition. So thank you again Tiffany and Nancy. Ill be seeing you again soon!

Inept or Lazy? Maybe both...This store has to be the all-time worst Publix in existence. First issue is that they sell out of a lot of sale items, but they have a way of reappearing after the sale. Second, the online ordering from the deli is a joke. Almost all of the time, the order is not ready - I usually check 5 to 10 minutes after the scheduled time. Over at the deli, they stare blankly as if the space-time continuum has been disrupted. Order? What? When? Then they find the ticket on the machine, on the floor, stuck to the wall, etc. A few days ago, half the order had been completed and tossed into the meat counter. A worker found it and of the three of them, no one knew how it even got there. Mysterious events happen here...Yesterday, I placed an order. Oh, it was ready on time, but instead of 1 LB, it was .53 LB. Another trip to the Deli to find they only had enough meat to cut .53 LB. This also happened to be a sale item. So, five days into the sale, they run out of meat. Dont get me started about ordering the mystery sandwich that fell into some void. Somebody else probably took it was the explanation I got even though the ticket was still on the machine. Yes, I have complained to management, but it gets nothing done other than an apology and they have someone get the order. Hey, how about training people and expecting them to do their job? Its easy to blame the workers, but consistent behavior like this means they get their cues from their manager. There are several dozen other issues with this store, but it mainly comes down to the attitude. So, is it inept or lazy?

This was a very clean and organized store. More importantly, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The contrast between Publix and Walmart as far as employee friendliness and customer assistance was eye-opening. Trying to get any kind of employee assistance at Walmart is like pulling teeth, its absolutely futile. It seems like the employees go out of their way to avoid customer questions. And if you actually track someone down, they seem extremely put-out and annoyed that they are being approached by a customer. The worst part is customer service doesnt seem to improve the further up the ladder you go; meaning management also seems to be resentful and contemptuous to be approached by customers.Meanwhile, Kroger is somewhere in the middle of the other two companies. This was the first time I had been in a Publix store in about 15 years. My wife and I always shop at Kroger, but after this experience we may reconsider our grocery store of choice. I was really impressed by the customer service and how incredibly organized the entire store was this evening.

Even when things are short, they seem to have a lot more at Publix than they do at other stores. Understaffed is tremendously helpful. They don’t tell you where an item is, they take you to where the item is.

Went early morning to get a few things for a lunch party, but they were out of the items I needed. The bakery had forgotten to make the bread that I needed and they were out of shaved ribeye that I always get for Philly cheese steaks! Butcher said they havent received any in a long time and the other stores would be out. Went to the Publix on Dallas highway and they had everything! Service was especially kind and gracious, but I was surprised at no inventory.

Publix West Cobb is my go to store for 50% of our food. The store is clean and faitlrly well stocked. The produce is not the best at this store. There are a couple of Publix stores within 5 miles that do much better. And wish they would offer more gluten free bread, and natural/healthy food options. I would love to see them install self checkout lanes -- much needed!

Went to its pharmacy early this morning asking for an over counter medicine. There’s a lady talking to the pharmacist so I stand behind, few minutes later the pharmacist went to pick up something for her. A lady pharmacist who apparently knew what’s been happening just asked the lady who had been helped need any help, totally ignored the silly man standing behind. Finally a young girl came out for help, I asked her where to find BreathRight, she said I had to wait for a pharmacist 😂

I have not been in as frequently as I was pre-Covid-19, but it’s still my “go to” grocery store. You can’t train people to be friendly and helpful, so Publix must do a great job of hiring the right people. Before I moved to The Land of Publix, grocery shopping was just another chore. Now, it’s like a visit to old friends!

I have this Publix and the other one down the road and I recommend going to the other one by the zaxbys. I always get bad service here and it is NOT a pleasure to shop here.

Last night at around 7pm my teenage daughter went through the express lane. The lady checking her out was very nice. My daughter had been struggling as it was the Anniversary of her dads death and she started crying randomly to this stranger. The lady offered kind words along with an offer to get ice cream. When my daughter choked out she was lactose intolerant the kind cashier suggested lactaid brand in the mini pints and gave her a discount on it. Never underestimate the power of kindness. This sweet woman went out of her way to be supportive . Thank you Publix. And thank you kind cashier lady. You made my girls day a little better. (From a night shift healthcare worker mom that couldnt be there when she needed me to)

I’ve never seen a more incompetent grocery store. Imagine giving someone’s groceries away to the WRONG person. What’s the purpose of asking for my name, vehicle type and color, and everything else if you aren’t even going to follow through and use that information to execute the order. The purpose of using the curbside option is to save time. Having to sit in the parking lot while my order is re-shopped is pointless and infuriating. I will never shop this publix again. NEVER

Cant say enough about the curbside service! Almost never need to make substitutions, theyre always prompt and polite when bringing the stuff to the car.

They are terrible at making online orders on time. I frequently arrive 15 minutes after my order should be made and they have not even started it. Totally unacceptable online ordering and pickup experience.

Went after work, looking for frozen potatoes. Employee asked me to move to help another lady find something. After waiting a few minutes, I left without the rest of my list to go somewhere else. How is one customer more important than the other one? They were still looking after I checked out. No thank you, I can go elsewhere.
