I recommend highly. My garage door broke on a Thursday evening. I called Bob & Bob on Friday. They were able to work me in between appointments. Our vehicles were stuck in the garage. The came and fixed our door at an affordable price. Thank you Bob and Bob.
We have been doing business with Bob and Bob for almost 20 years. They do good work for reasonable price. The sliding door they installed for us in 2000 still works like the day it was installed. They have replaced the windows in it under warranty twice with no squabble. Like other reviewers have said, they lack in the cleanup department and always seem to be in a hurry but their prices are very fair. Most recently they replaced our garage door springs and opener. I picked up a couple screws and a couple nails off my garage floor after they left but the door works great. I will do business with them again but would be a happier consumer if they would slow down and be a little more mindful of the presentation of their work.
Garage was broken as it wouldnt close properly. They came. They couldnt fix the problem on the first day because they didnthave the proper parts. They came back later, Fixed the problem, (left his jacket here sorry we tossed it out ) ...so we thought. Its been about 6 months or longer... now we call their listed phone number on the website and it sounds like a fax machine number. So, if any employee recalls a missing jacket around wintertime. Please contact that client, if you have records kept. Because the same problem has arose.
Deceivers..They came to my house and accessed the garage door. I was informed that l would need 2 springs. The tech was there for a few hours and was unable to get the door to open and close properly. It was straining, so he apologized and stated that he had to leave hes, been here longer than l should have. I will send someone else out tomorrow because l am not familiar with this opener. He had also mentioned some brackets being backwards. The next day he returns, claiming to know what to do. He was in the garage for a while before banging is heard and a friend at my home goes and asks him if he needed any assistance. The tech declines assistance. Time goes by and he stated that the door was working and that he had turned some brackets around. I called in and paid $205. We ended up calling back the same day to inform them that the door was not functioning properly, it was straining and would not close all the way. The same tech came back and got the door to close. They were again called back a couple of days later because the door wouldnt open at all, and again informed them that the door was not running smoothly. Needless to say the same tech came again and got the door open but failed to address the straining on the door after the installation of the springs. A few weeks go by and now the door wont close. We called the company and they sent someone out a couple of days later. Deb informed me that the whole door would need to be replaced. Unfortunately we see this all the time. It gets cold and the strain on the door from it being stuck, causes this type of damage. A new door would cost $960 for us to install, and you would be credited $205. Now l see you have windows, so I didnt get a quote for windows, since this is a rental property. But if you were to get one with windows, that would cost about another $250.When Deb was informed that we had been having issues with the door not running smoothly since the installation of the springs and the tech appeared as if he did not know what he was doing; he had said something about backward brackets, her response was I dont know why he would say that because the brackets werent backwards. Let me look into it and get back with you.2 weeks later l call for an update and she proceeds to tell me about a co-workers surgery..HIPAA violation. I dont need to know the type of surgery your coworker had. Very personal and inappropriate for your reasoning not getting back with me.Deb informs me that her Dad the owner discussed this matter and concluded that their tech was not responsible for the damage to my door. According to her when she pulled up the Auditors site, my door is a 30 yr old door. This is the same site she used to tell me that I was not the home owner..but a renter. This company are scammers!! You charge me $205 to fix my springs..the door has been straining since your installation which you are fully aware of but keep sending out the same incompetent tech. Now the door needs to be completely replaced and they just want to return my money and collect their springs..You are a business that should conduct as such. l paid for a service and l expect the service for which l paid for. When you employ incompetent personnel, the customer should not have to suffer the loss. You shouldve been trying to make me whole again not trying to scam me.
Our first experience with Bob and Bob Door company was not a good one. After re-insulating our main entry door, a brad nail got off track when putting a trim piece back in place. It came out through the door jamb and into our Therma Tru door, taking out a chunk of the door. What I dont understand is how the installer could leave not see what had happened. No attention to detail I guess. I called their office to have the installer return to fix the issue. The repair was rushed and does not look good at all. At least the new storm door that was installed appears to be OK.
Good people. Good work.
The best place for all things door related!
We needed springs and a garage door opener replaced, so we purchased an opener we liked and called Bob and Bob Door. We were quoted a price and the two gentlemen arrived on time. They looked at our antique opener and springs and recommended we replace them with a torsion spring to make it safer. We were given and price for that on the spot. We elected to go with the full replacement. Their install went without a hitch and they were polite and professional. There were no hidden fees or surprise charges at the end. We have a second garage that needs a new opener and we will be calling them when that time comes. We highly recommend Bob and Bob Door.
Best customer service ive seen in a long time. I would absolutely recommend this company over its competitors!!! They care about helping people.
I was pleased to get same day service when I called for broken garage spring. I was given a qoute over the phone for the problem I described to them and final bill was as advised. They were prompt to the time they gave for arrival and completed the job pretty quickly. Overall great experience other than the techs locking themselves out of their service van but accidents happen. Would definitely send business their way and would use again for service.

I have a 19 year old all original wayne dalton torguemaster classic. This year the worm gear decided to let go. It is beyond difficult to find parts for this type of system with the parts being discontinued. However I came into Bob & Bob and they were able to hook me up with the parts needed to repair the door until it can be upgraded to the newer system. The ladies in the office are super nice and very helpful. I highly recommend.
Great business fast service
Good price and excellent service
Had them come for estimate was on time! Thought I had a professional but been a month now no estimate no response at all ??? Really thats not how a professional business operates. What a waste of my time! Couldnt trust them to even complete job or schedule at this point! They start but dont follow through!
Showed up fast and did a great job. Will use them in the future.
Very professional and honest.
