They had a comic in a brand new first issue hes been looking forward to. So he was blown away when he got his gift. They did great.)

This place is great if you are looking for comic books ( old and new) and action figures ( also old and new). The selection is vast and very good. They have the ability to set up comic book pulls for those must have issues. They also put on a weekly new stuff coming out this week stream on Facebook to show the cool new stuff coming in the week.

My new favorite toy store to visit for collectibles and action figures. Selection is great lots of genres as well the owners are very accommodating and willing to haggle prices when buying multiple items. As well they genuinely love what they do and carry some unique toys I’ve never seen in other stores. A must see if your shopping toys.

Great selection of Funko Pops if thats what youre looking for. Also plenty of other really cool toys, action figures, and comics.

This place had to be one of the coolest places Ive ever visited. I absolutely love comics and toys alike and this toy had everything a little me could ever imagine seeing. Everything from aliens and star wars to halo and comic books! A remarkable store where Id spend all my time and money at if it wasnt an hour away from me! Awesome Store!! Probably one of the only places within a 30 mile radius that sells vintage toys and new toys! Prices can be a little high at times but I always find myself in there looking for my next original transformer or hotwheel.

My son and I checked this place out and they have a lot of action figures, both modern and throwbacks from the 80s and 90s. There were a lot of comic books, thought we arent really into those so didnt check them to see if vintage or modern. A great store to relive the good old days and for kids gifts, though not a lot of what my son would call girl toys.

I was in the area picking up a few lots from Marketplace and I always like to check out local haunts. I was very impressed by the selection as Im a fairly serious collector BUT Ive bought and sold so much vintage stuff that I have begun to dabble in reboots/relaunched lines that I might have missed....examples being mid-00s GI Joe stuff: Valor vs Venom and 25th/ROC/POC or the 2011 Bandai Thundercats...those things are amazing, my current favorite! Anyway, they have a nice selection of toys from that era and while not something NEWBIES looking for childhood memories in plastic might be interested in TOY JUNKIES will appreciate and theyre only going up $$$ as time passes!I also wanna make note of taking advantage that theyre always buying/trading too! I always have a few goodies Im ready to pass onto a new home and did so while adding to my collection from their selection. I think the people reviewing and mentioning overpricing/underpricing in buying/selling should consider #1 just how IN the adult toy collecting hobby has become. Netflix created a series about it and I know theres been other shows and just look at all the Toy Shows and online listings. Toy Hunters doesnt pull pricing out of thin air to get one over on you! Their prices are FAIR MARKET VALUE and Ive found them VERY WILLING to negotiate....reasonably. I can offer them $65 for that Flagg and if they laugh at me, which should be the correct response, that doesnt make them overpriced! Do some basic research on an items worth and dont look at current ebay listings and base $ solely on them ...look at completed listings. Finally please realize that any RESELL business is going to follow the PAWN SHOP mentality.....in order to remain in business! Because this is SOMEONES BUSINESS and hes financially at risk here. And hes a nice guy....I traded in for store credit the CerealBox Lifeline sealed and B.S.d with him for 30 minutes. But anyone whos had experience with Pawn Shops knows that any RESELL concept is 99% of the time going to offer you 1/3rd of the products value. $30 for a $90 figure in other words and thats because at $90 theyve already sunk $30 in aquiring and then $30 has to cover rent/electric/payroll/business expenses AND finally the last $30, which puts them at $90, is because theyre a business and in business to be profitable and hang around a while!If youre looking for top $ then list your item online. And for an item you consider overpriced I personally would see if theyd be willing to sell a $100 item for 10-15% off....but dont go further because its insulting whether you agree or not! I consider retail pricing covers my convenience because...sure maybe there have been listings for less online BUT I can see and handle the item here and I know its complete OR if joints are tight/loose and Im leaving with it today, right now vs watching an auction and leaving shipping and shipping safely up to a stranger in Oregon or wherever who only sees $ in this item he found in Grannies attic!Ps...most dealers, Toy Hunters included, while may only offer $25 cash for a certain item theyre often more than happy to knock that number around a bit...$30...$35 even in CREDIT in store. Consider that next time as well! And especially if youre a new TOY enthusiast remember that much of collecting is in relationships and I think youd be surprised how willing owners are to accommodate REGULARS within reason and theyre great resources to have as long as you remember that they HAVE to operate in the black! These owners are the BIGGEST TOY FANS too ...they took collecting and turned it into literal daily life! So THANK YOU TOY HUNTERS! Ill be back anytime Im in the area & I look forward to it!

Its better than most but still higher focus is on modern stuff you can still find pretty easy only a couple of cases with 80s toys

Prices are a little high but the selection is huge and includes classic and new toys.

I have been to toy hunters a couple of times and I love it. The place is easy to find and have a lot of different stuff. I mainly went for wrestling figures and I have to say Tony has a great selection of these. I highly recommend this place to any Vintage toy collector. Will be back again soon. Great place to find rare and harder to find collectibles but your gonna pay extra for them Theyre not cheap on anything including comics. As where other places have $1 and .50 cent bins they charge no less than 1.99 for anything andright around retail and plus some for key issues. As for the toys they have a very nice selection but again you better have deep pockets, their mark up is a bit much but it is nicer merchandise. I would NOT recommend selling them anything. Like most places like this they horribly low ball sellers for max profit. I once took in a huge collection valued at between $300-$500 and they offered me $40 cash or $45 store credit. I immediately refused and have never taken anything there since. All in all their a decent store and youll find some nice rare items just dont plan on getting a terrific deal or making alot selling, youd be better off trying to sell privately.

What a blast from the past. While visiting my 35 year old son from out of state we drove up from Columbus to seek this gem of a store out. Boy we wished we had saved half of the toys we had in the 80s. Right down memory lane we went. Great selection and the couple that owned the store were very friendly and happy people. The store was clean, well organized AND provided a clean restroom as well! Of course we spent a tidy sum...but still the look on my sons face took me back so was well worth it. Moms, Dads, children of any age its worth the trip. We will be back for sure. Thank you for a wonderful day!

Friend informed me of the store a few weeks ago so I decided to check it out. They had just what I was looking for plus so much more. Very friendly atmosphere. Owner took time to chat with us for awhile and gave us a great deal on our items. Definitely recommend........That was a couple months ago. A little different today. Very different today. Quite the opposite. Never got acknowledge the entire visit then when I went to checkout I was looking at some items on the counter and apparently he had not processed them yet so the owner got rude with me and at his wife for letting me look at them (comics). Very disappointed. I recommended this place to a lot of people. I havent decided whether Ill return or not. If I do and these actions are repeated I definetly wont be back or recommend to anyone else.

Greatest store around. They have a new storefront with more parking, and more goodies than before. Tony has a great personality, very knowledgeable, and is customer oriented. Definitely has a wide range of collectible toys and a decent comic book collection. Dont expect to get a lot of money for trade ins, however. An action figure junkie could easily blow some cash in that place.

Toy Hunters is the best store in the area. I collect Transformers, and they not only have all the new figures (when the big retail stores dont), but they also have figures from the 80s that I had as a kid. They also have G.I. Joe, Thundercats, He-Man, etc. Very cool place. Would highly recommend to all my friends.

I stopped by this shop while in town, came from Detroit.. well I was quite impressed with some of their collectible toy offerings.. I also stopped by as I believed they carried video games, but their video game selection is rather minuscule - a few NES carts and a couple consoles (a Sega Saturn and a couple N64’s - one being the Pikachu N64).. as for toys, my other hobby, they had A LOT of great stuff, old and new! Some prices I thought were high and others reasonable for a shop.. next time I’m in town I’ll drop in and maybe get a thing or two.

This place is almost a little hidden gem for toy collectors or just big kids at heart. Even my son who just turned 13 loved the classic toys and we spent way to much on classic Transformers, but we walked away thrilled with our purchases. Be prepared to spend some money but the toys are well worth it.
