My appointment was at 3:30, when I first got there, the stylist was already angry, not sure why. She asked me what I wanted. My hair reached down past the middle of my back. I asked for layers, two inches off length. I also wanted all my hair dyed one color, black. But she said, I have to clock out at 5:30 I dont have time for that. I told her thats what I asked for when I called to book my appointment and when I confirmed with them the day before. She told me to get up and go with someone else because she didnt have time for that. Im not sure why, but I told her to just cut it then. I shouldve just left. She took about 6 inches off and the layers are uneven. On my right side, my shortest layer falls right above my ear. On the left side, my shortest layer falls on my shoulder. She just butchered my hair. I didnt think this kind of mistake was possible. And the fact that the woman responsible is considered a master stylist is even more insulting. This is my first and last time coming here. And I paid over $50 for it. Shes lucky I was under a lot of stress that day or it wouldve ended differently. I cant even put my hair in a ponytail bc it looks choppy and uneven. At least thats what my sisters kept asking me, Why does your hair look so choppy and uneven?

If you care about your hair and like fun colors, do not go here. I went in to get a root lighten/touch up and they used the wrong dye on my hair. What was supposed to take 2 hours, ended up taking 6 because it became a complete strip and redo because of how my hair looked after they used the wrong dye. I have since had my hair redone 2x and the dye they used is still showing up (demi). The lady who did it all told me I was lucky they werent going to charge me for the additional services/products they had to use to attempt to repair their mistake.

I went there to get my hair chopped off due to my papa Jerry has cancer and is losing his hair there was a lady named kat that did my hair I love it she did she amazing job

I had a sudden chance to get out and about without kids and couldnt find anyone to take in a walk in color with over 5 hours to close for most salons. JCP Salon got me an appointment less than an hour from my call. Amy cut and colored my very thick hair and did an amazing job! Not only was she super friendly, but she was super talented! The best cut Ive ever had! Will definitely be returning! Thanks!

Beth has always been great. Normally I’m always happy with their services. I had a horrible experience there yesterday.. I got my eyebrows done and it was the worst I’ve ever gotten done. I had to tell the lady to fix them. After “fixing” them she didn’t even give me a mirror to confirm them! I was really disappointed with their services.. Guess I need to make an appointment with someone I know and can trust. Never going to walk in for a wax again.

My sister, who just had a baby, went in to get her hair trimmed before family pictures. The stylist talked her into donating her hair because it was so long. Without washing it, she chopped it and didn’t even get the required length. She then told my sister about a hair donation program that closed 6 months ago. When my sister arrived back at her house, she straightened her hair only to find it was completely butchered. We found someone local to quick fix it and they were astounded by the horrible cut.Do not go to this salon. It’s not worth it. They don’t listen to you, they don’t understand hair donation, and you will likely have to pay twice as more to get it fixed.

My Husband and I are visiting Mankato for a while and I have a hairstylist back home that normally cuts my hair. I came into the JCP salon today and Britney cut my hair. She took a lot of time with me and listened to me as I told her how I like my hair. I loved my haircut! All the salon staff were very nice and made me feel comfortable. I am so pleased with my hair! I will be back! Thank you Britney!
