Rude cashier trying to impose distance standards while waiting to checkout. In the meantime, shoppers are close to each other throughout shopping. Wheres the logic. What happened to customer service? No one is going to restrict my movements as I shop. Get rid of these worthless employees and install multiple self-checkouts. Keep providing drive up pharmacy, but this in-store location should shutter.

Dont come here if you dont have an extra hour set aside to wait in line!!! Been coming here for years with no issues up until the last couple months. They have become so slow and unfriendly that I will no longer use their pharmacy.

Covid friendly. Filthy place. DONT USE THE BATHROOM. Disgusting and hasnt been cleaned in years. Im sure the toilet seats havent been wiped down in over a decade. Imagine what the Mens bathroom looks like!

Had to bother my doctor for I dont know the tenth time to ensure a prescription really got called in. Turns out yet again that it was just lost in their system. Prescriptions are never ready on time and I get random alerts that prescriptions are there that have not even been ordered. I would definitely go elsewhere.

If I could give this location one star, I would. After getting discharged from the hospital at 1:30am I had to pick up a new medication. Apparently the pharmacy closes 1:30am-2am for a break, no big deal everyone needs a break. Came back to the drive through to pick up the medication, the pharmacist was late returning from break( not the end of the world, but very unprofessional). Went to give her my insurance information, she states it’s not good. We explained I’m covered under my mom’s insurance and nothing has changed. We were told that my mom needed to have filled a prescription there so we can link the account otherwise we couldn’t use the insurance. We had to repeat the insurance information numerous times, the pharmacist left us multiple times to help others in the second lane. We gave her the insurance card with the SAME information we had given her multiple times before and she stated it did not work. Finally had to look up GoodRX so I didn’t have to pay $76.99 for the medication. We asked if she could transfer it to CVS and we were told we would have to go to CVS, have them call Walgreens and have the hospital authorize the transfer. The entire situation took an hour at the drive through with a condescending tone from the pharmacist. I drove 30 minutes one way back to this Walgreens to speak to the pharmacy manager, gave her the same information I had given the previous pharmacist and everything went through just fine and took less than 10 minutes and turns out, I over paid. Whoever the overnight pharmacist is needs more training and a better approach to helping others. If I need a medication in the future I will not be returning to this Walgreens.

Walgreens has been my go to store anytime of the day or night for years. Very sad to say this is changing. Apparently items listed on the website are not always carried in the store. Their solution was we can order. Well guess what? So can I, from someplace a little more reliable.

You cannot call there and talk to a pharmacist. You get a robo operator who refuses to let you talk to a pharmacist unless you keep at in for 5 minutes. My wife is 80 and has lupus and pneumonia. Is she gets covid she dies. But they do everything they can to force you to come in to talk to a pharmacist.

A much better experience.My previous review is below to contrast the change.(I waited while pharmacy counter gossiped with what appeared to be off duty coworker, then when I inquired about whether or not they had any cervical collars, as I didnt see cervical collars by the braces, she told me that if they had them that is where they would be. When I then asked if that was something that they carried, she was very short with me and told me she didnt know and suggested I go to a different store.There was no line.There was no reason to be short with me other than to go back to gossiping.So, yeah, thanks for the suggestion. I wont be stepping foot back into your Madison Avenue store.)

Having a 24-hours store open that isnt Walmart is a blessing. Not that I need a lot of stuff at 3 in the morning but when the need does arise its pretty convenient to come here. Being a Walgreens the selection isnt necessarily as large as one would want but it definitely is a good spot to shop.

Lisa in cosmetics was very pleasant and she insisted that I allow her to look and see if she had any coupons for the items that I purchased. I was so grateful because she saved me $6.00!! For some people $6.00 may not seem to be a lot but, for me if you add her outstanding customer service it wouldnt matter if was only 1 cent!!

Professional and friendly staff who are well trained and helpful. Walgreens ia easy to find and has easy and lots of parking. They have a drive-thru window for pharmacy and a nice location in the store as well. They have lots of products to offer for a quick visit or a long visit. Thank you Walgreens!

Currently hanging out in the drive through waiting in 3 prescriptions for my 9 month old with pneumonia that I dropped off an hour and 15 minutes ago. Figured I’d use my time to give a review while it’s fresh since I’m just sitting here at the drive through window. When I dropped off the prescriptions after a visit to the urgent care clinic, they told me they would be ready in “15 to 20 minutes” so I ran some errands and came back 30 minutes later. No one in front of me in the drive through line, and the tech told me they would just finish them up and have me on way. Ten minutes later they ask to me drive a lap because there are now several cars in line behind me. So I take a lap, wait for all the cars in line, and when I get to the front, they say they’re just about ready. At 4:08, 40 minutes after I arrived to pick up the prescriptions (total time 1 hr 10 minutes from original drop off) I hit the call button to see what the problem was and they assured me it would only be a few minutes more. At 4:19, I hit the call button again to see if I should continue waiting or if I should go and come back later. They finally came back with the prescriptions, but the. Said they had to mix them. After 90 minutes, I’m finally leavin, pretty sure they mischatged my insurance, but I’ll fix that at a different location.

Pharmacy touts 24 hour pharmacy...but its really 23.5 hours...they close for .5 hours between 1:30 and 2 am. As my luck had it I got there at 1:32 to fill a prescription from the ER...and had to wait. Too bad there isnt a backup or a way for the consumer to know. Had I known we would have had the prescription sent to CVS. But because sent direct from hospital I couldnt get transferred.

Photo counter had incredibly poor staff. My photos were estimated to be printed at 1:00 - when I arrived at 3:00, they were still not done. I was told to wait one minute. They talked about their plans, other various things, but never took care of my six photos. They whispered about me as if I wasnt right there. They told me One more minute several times, but never addressed my photos. I left after 45 minutes and asked them to cancel my order. Moments later on the phone, I was asked to come back and get them. I was never apologized to or addressed. Incredibly immature staff.

If I had the option of leaving a -5 stars, I would. I had the worst customer service experience of my life this morning at Walgreens on Madison Ave, to say the least. I was with my brother while he was picking up a prescription for his mental health meds. We approach the pharmacy counter to be greated by a scowling women named Margo. My brother told her his name and the meds he was there to pick up, she told him that the scrip wasnt ready (in the most condescending, snarky and impatient voice ever) We stepped aside to wait. Then about 15 mins later she starts yelling over and over my brothers dead name ( My brother is transgender and his legal name has not been changed, however on all of his medical charts and other info it includes his preferred name) She started saying very loudly that his insurance denied coverage and for some reason he couldnt pay for it either. She said Well even IF You COULD pay it would cost $165, haha. At this point we felt like a spectacle with the audience we had, as the customers near by were staring and talking amongst themselves because this women was so talking at such a high volume. Any privacy we had was gone. My brother was so embarrassed and upset we left without anything. Im very disappointed by this experience. I think Margo should never deal with another customer/person at face value again, as I wouldnt wish this humiliation on my worst enemy.

I’ve had so many issues with this Walgreens. Don’t trust any updates you receive saying your prescription is ready. 90% of the time it’s not ready. The staff has no sense of urgency either.

I would give HALF a star if I could. I absolutely can not stand this pharmacy. Due to Tri Care, we HAD to switch. Witch we did in NOVEMBER as soon as we found out about the switch. Filled out all Walgreens transfer paper work and still 2 months later they have Not a changed our information! !!!!!!. Now everytime I go in there for a prescription the employee tells me and I Quote They are ALLOWED and hour and a half to fill a prescription. ??? I have NEVER HEARD of this before. Wow just a horrible horrible place to get Medication.

I ordered a photo book and received an email an hour later stating it was complete. The next day(more than 24 hours later) I had gone in to pick it up. I was told it was not done yet but it would just be a couple of minutes. After walking around the store for 10 minutes I asked how much longer, the clerk gave no answer. FINALLY after 35 minutes of waiting it was complete. I received no apology for the wait time. When I got my photo book home and looked through it, it appears to have ink spots on the faces in some of the photos! NOT HAPPY! Poor service and poor quality!

Pharmacy is absolutely bad, rude staff, say they cant fill prescriptions when I take them as directed, they dont seem interested in helping people they rather be argumentive with u, and this just doesnt happen to me, Ive seen several of other people walk out in frustration
