Literally the worst customer service ever.First employee pushed us out of the way coming inside.Waited 20 minutes to check out because all the employees were talking about movies instead of doing their job.Had to ask for someone to ring me up after 20 minutes of standing there.Literally 15 people working there. Only 2 customers in the store. Why would it take that long???? Terrible
Don’t rent a truck, equipment, or go here at all! I reserved a 26’ truck for today, August 21, 2021 at 6:00 am. Last night on August 20, 2021 at 9:00 pm I was contacted by a woman who identified herself as Sarah. Sarah told me that they will not have my truck available. I coordinated help to move at 6 am and now had no truck. Sarah was rude, offered no help and I ultimately ended my contact with her. After hanging up I had more questions and so I attempted to call the number back but UHaul was closed and the call never went through to anyone. Today, August 21, 2021 I called and spoke with a woman named Trish who I attempted to receive help from. I explained what happened and Trish also had an attitude and was unable to provide any help. I spoke to her supervisor Timothy Roy who was able to find a truck for 1 pm. I informed him I would like to reserve the truck as I attempted to find help moving. Unfortunately I had to cancel the reservation due to being unable to find help. When I called to cancel I asked for Timothy so I would not have to deal with his rude staff. I was subsequently hung up on. I then called back and no one picked up. I cancelled my reservation online and will never utilize this UHaul dealer again. They should be ashamed of how they do business and the way they treat customers. If I could give them less than one star I would.
Jose and the girl working with him was a very big help. I have been going there the past six weeks and there customer service was exceptionally well. I highly recommend renting a u-haul from them and I guarantee you wont be dissatisfied. Thank you guys and girls
Zero stars honestly. You have plenty of workers moving around the trucks or just standing there outside but then have 2 people at the register where NEITHER ONE OF THEM want to work but rather sit on their phones or have a customer drag on about their life story so they can avoid doing as much work as possible. So unprofessional, I highly don’t recommend this location. Not unless you want to wait in line for 2 hours and then tell them about how your childhood gerbil died. I’m absolutely dumbfounded at the fact that this Uhaul location is running right now. This whole location and ALL OF THEIR WORKERS ARE UNPROFESSIONAL. I suggest looking elsewhere to rent a truck or hire a moving company to help you.
Terrible customer service. We waited over 1.5 hours on hold to speak with someone and, once they finally answered, we were told that they needed to transfer me to customer service.We were then on hold for another hour and ten minutes before someone answered the call.After almost 3 hours in total on hold, they were unwilling to try to assist us with our account.With exceptionally high hidden fees and very poor customer service, it is worth it to explore other options.
Terrible service. Had to wait a half an hour for propane tank refill, after asking 4 different people for help. Yes, we will get someone to help you right away. No luck. In the meantime, they have 4 people working on checking in one lousy pick up truck. Terrible!!!
Negligent vehicle maintenance was the cause of my issue on August 21, 2021 when they gave me a vehicle that had an overheating engine, which cause power loss and the A/C to go out. Luckily the Hooksett Uhaul took care of me. DO NOT go to this place.

Horrible service. Made reservation online to pick up at 1. Uber here to be told my reservation is for 3pm. I show them my reservation clearly says 1pm and she says “your reservation is wrong, in my system it says 3”. Maybe YOUR system is wrong. Past 3 and still no uhaul. Save your sanity and rent with Penske.
This used to be my go too location. Now they are rude, slow, and always try to hit me with wrong charges. Recently they accidentally charged me $2,000.00 for a 1 day rental and took over a week to return it after many phone calls. I will be going out of my way to use a different location.
The staff at the South Willow UHAUL was so helpful and went above and beyond when we needed assistance first thing in the morning on a Sunday. Before the store was even open, a wonderful employee who was eating her breakfast in her car helped us to find and reserve the equipment we needed and followed up with a phone call after they were open.
Weve had a bit of back and forth getting the right truck. Finally Uhaul sent us to this location. They had everything we needed and they went above and beyond for us. Im actually amazed how great the customer service is here. Thank you Sam and Scott!!!
The staff are really awesome! They are so friendly. I was helping a friend move out of her home of 15 years and she was very emotional. The manager was extremely helpful after we rented a van that ended up not being big enough to pick up everything we needed after all. We just unfortunately under estimated. We had to rent another truck and make a second down and back trip. The manager was very accommodating and was able to give us a break on the second vehicle which we loaded up and left at the destination U-Haul and drove together back in the first rented van. My friend also used the free one month UHAUL storage unit deal to store everything until her new condo is closed on and ready to be moved into in a few weeks. Just was an overall good experience despite a few trip ups.

Terrible service. If I could give zero stars I would. 3 people at counter, one not wearing a mask till I was right in front of him. Busy on the phone, talking to each other,not about anything to do with the business. Took about 15 minutes before I could pay for my purchase, they were busy discussing their plans.
We purchased a package online that holds 3 bedroom house and didn’t need all of it so we returned the unused boxes for a refund which was very easy to do.The movers we hired to help load up our UHaul did a terrible job. We were originally going to tow a car but called the location and asked if we could switch it to another storage trailer and they said no worries. It was close to closing but they made sure we were all set with everything and gave us a business card in case we ran into issues with our journey to Indiana.After all the trouble with our movers they empathized and didn’t charge extra for switching out the car trailer to storage.Very friendly, helpful and accommodating. They made a very stressful situation - our other only option was leaving a lot of furniture we liked behind - better.
Called and rented a truck to be picked up at Radio Grove in Raymond on Saturday morning. Husband called Radio Grove and changed the pick up time to 3:00-4:00PM on Friday for a one day rental. Got a text and calls from Uhaul at 1:00 (2 hours before pick up) on Friday saying our reservation was to be picked up in Brentwood. I called Brentwood Uhaul who said they didnt have it in their system, and I told them it was a mistake, that we were supposed to pick up in Raymond anyway. I called Radio Grove right away to confirm our pick up of the truck at 3:00-4:00PM. They said, yes they had it in the system. We arrived at Radio Grove about 3:30PM, and there was no truck available for us. They tried to set us up to pick up in Brentwood, even though I said we were not going to do that and pay the extra miles. I said, as we were leaving that Uhaul wasnt the only one who messed this up, and we got a short, sorry. Dont recommend Uhaul in Manchester, or Radio Grove for Uhaul rentals. :(
I went to rent a pickup truck got charge .79 per mile which it’s fine because I did 12 but then they charge me $43.00 they charge me insurance when I said I didn’t want it... I really don’t get how $19.95 + 9.48 = $29.43 (they’re saying it’s $43.00 I understand there’s taxes but what am I getting charge $13 of taxes)
I had a great experience here. I came to pick up the truck shortly before they closed, and everyone worked hard to make sure I had everything I needed quickly. I brought three active, young children with me, and the employees were helpful and friendly to both myself and my children. I would absolutely recommend this location.
I was sent here after U-Haul in Nashua didn’t have a truck for me even though I reserved one 2 weeks in advance. One of the employees Peter was a pure saint. The customer service here was impeccable.

Prices are outrageous and staff are not very helpful. I always feel like Im interrupting them or taking them away from doing something more important. I tried to make a partial payment online and over the phone but was told its not allowed. I would think they would want whatever I can give them toward my balance. Also, My unit was locked for non payment but they allowed my daughter to get in and take things without my permission. If Im not allowed to get in until I pay, she should not have been able to either. Can any stranger get into my unit just by giving them a sob story?
Had a issue with my bill of overcharges and the manager of the Manchester store immediately refunded me what was due in cash thanks Samuel ! Uhaul is always what Ive used for my moves and give 5 stars for both Portsmouth and Manchester stores.
They will never answer their phone, employees are on their cell phones watching the store one ring. They overcharged us by $50 for mileage. Woman at desk told us she’d include 90 miles free for us and then only gave us 30. Charged my card $75 and didn’t bother calling us.
My experience was positive. I received immediate assistance when I came to pick up boxes. One of the sets of boxes (for dishes) I prepaid for wasnt in stock after all. However, I was offered the option of taking any other box in its place, and I was advised which one was the closest match. Boxes here are less expensive than new boxes from other sources. Moreover, I know theyll buy back the boxes I never used. I suggest that reviewers that arent happy with their experience specify which service at U-Haul is unsatisfactory… no need to tar each section with the same brush.
I was charged two extra days for a trailer rental. On hold for 15 min and I get transferred to a call center that cannot even find my info by the contract number. I have rented trailers over 15 times from Uhaul and every single time it is an issue. The worst customer service I have ever experienced and I work in the industry.
I have 3 storage units here and have multiple packages delivered here. They sign for my packages and hold until I have time to come move them. The staff know me by name and are extremely friendly. I couldn’t be happier with my experience.
Customer service is very poor. Employees act as if you are bothering them. Ive been in on 3 different times and bad each time. I thought it was just a bad day but it appears to be the norm. Propane is somthing that they are not interested in. Waited 15 min with no customers in or out of the store. I rang the bell every 5 min. In the end they were unable to fill the tank due to a fitting that was broken. That is understandable but the attitude is not.
I went today truck I kept it I returned it the man of the counter told me a certain amount everything was all set have a great day they charge me additional fees without calling without informing well ever telling me that I was going to happen I dont feel this is right I think you should be informed 100% before they charge any extra dollars that you are not informed of when you walk away from their counter
I have had a storage unit here since January 2019 and I have had a plan to move to the south since then. I had a truck and a tow trailer on reserve for today and I came first thing this morning to pick it up and it was prepaid. When processing out and getting the keys I was told I was put on something called an “E-list” for an outstanding balance. When they looked into it we found out someone was using my identification from March to May to rent a van they were using as a personal vehicle. They remembered seeing her looking talking and acting strung out, and they also remembered repoing one of the vans. I had to file a police report so they can fax it to a specific uhaul place which will take a week or longer. They are not allowing me to rent my truck and trailer now until the outstanding balance from this other individual is paid, leaving me and my 2 year old and 6 year old with no where to live since our home now is down south and someone will be moving into my old place tomorrow!!!! WHO SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS??
Originally booked my rental online and wanted to pick up a 26 truck at the Hooksett Rd location. Got an email saying the reservation was transferred to this location - that was fine. I even went to the Hooksett location to confirm the email was legit and they said it was.This was a self-check in for 7:30am on a Sunday (the location opens at 9am). I didnt want to start moving so late since we had a lot to move and had also booked movers through the uhaul website.Guess I should have called here the day before to confirm because I show up at 730am, log into my account and click pick up my truck and magically it says I need to wait until 9am. Unreal.The movers showed up at 8am right on time and Im still waiting to get the truck since it was switched without my knowledge or ability to ask them to honor the 730am self check in time.They claim the Hooksett staff messed up and even made it an in town rental when I was doing one way.Either way, at this point, I had my wife go back to meet the movers and start putting things on the lawn. Luckily, a few of the staff show up early to get the office ready and I asked if they could help.Bryan was more than willing to help and he saved the day from being horrible to just moderately annoying. But if I scheduled any time earlier for all of this it would have been a disaster.5 stars for Bryan, 0 stars for the lack of communication about my reservation being changed, and 3 stars for uhaul customer service issuing me a small credit (which was later given to the movers for having to stay later than planned).Just be sure you triple check everything when it comes to this self-check in stuff. I was so happy this service was offered, then so disappointed when it failed.
When I got there the line was long, one of the employees did more talking than working and everyone in line was getting grumpy. When it came to be my turn, I got stuck with the talker. He was so distracted by his talking that he was telling me to make sure I brought it back with the same amount of gas, within my miles, etc. I said that wont be hard to do considering its a TRAILER!!.Then I went outside I realized my trailer hitch accessories werent a good fit for my trailer so I had to go back inside to buy one. I cut to the front of the line and one of the managers recognized me from a little earlier and took me right away and got me what I needed.I went out again and another manager took care of me. For the life of me, I cant remember his name but he was supposed to go home HOURS before then but stayed and worked on my wiring because the box on my wiring kit decided not to work either. He was working on my car, in the parking lot for over an hour (after service hours) and I was extremely grateful since I had to be out of my appartment THAT night and was moving to NC the next day. I promised I would send him something but now I cant remember his name and I feel like a schmuck because thats not like me not to follow through. He told me that he would rather me just leave a good review so here it is.I would definitely recommend this location if for no other reason than the two managers I dealt with. Superior service!!! Some of the workers, ehhh, but thats with any job. If you are reading this and you are the manager I dealt with please let me know. I will remember your name once I hear it.
This place sucks. NEVER GET OUT IN LESS THAN 45 MIN. Sat waiting to rent a truck while one person helped a couple and the 3 other front desk guys played Galaga or solitaire idk.. the dude ahead of me waited 20+ min to buy his propane! Then when a line starts to build half of the front desk associates left ffs.. usually rent from penske cause their trucks are cleaner and staff is nicer or at a minimum the Goffstown uhaul.. this place is LAST RESORT

Over 4 hour wait for a one hour hitch install appointment. Car was given back to me with the exhaust not connected to the hangers.They did not have the trailer I had reserved. Was told I would get $50 off next reservation or a gift card because of their reservation guarantee. When picking up the trailer the next day was told $50 was too much (how is that my problem? I lost a Saturday/missed a pickup appointment) and they would only offer $20 off.All 3 days I was there, wait in line was over 30 minutes, not enough employees. With a 9am trailer pickup I arrived at 0830 and wasnt on the road until after 1030.
Nice store but small waiting area. Mainly for rentals but do great job on installing hitches and lights
As a customer you feel like youre getting in the way. You get the impression your custom would be more appreciated if you didnt go to your unit and if you didnt get in the way of their plowing etc.
The staff members that I dealt with or very pleasant or able to solve my problem quickly in got me in and out very efficiently at the same time I was able to even book my storage this place is definitely Clean safe and secure
If I could give negative stars I would! I made a reservation for a truck at 5pm and checked in online, by 530 no one had helped me even after I asked an employee and expressed my concern as I had an appointment 20 mins away at 6pm(which is why I reserved at 5pm and arrived a few mins early as soon as I got out of work) . There was only one person able to use the register whom was doing everything BUT that while there was a long line of people waiting and other staff sitting around. Long story short I had to leave without ever being helped, without the truck i reserved in advance, had to cancel my appointment and missed my pick-up!I will NEVER use uhaul again, Im glad this happened before our move so that I can schedule to use a more professional and reliable company!

Twice I was accidentally over charged a hundred dollars - both times I had to show them their mistakes. Dishonest company, never pay with your debit card... Better yet, just never use them.

Scam similar to Comcast, incompetent drone like staff, customer experience a very distant concept...Call Uhaul after scheduling online for a truck with Budget rental and having it not be there. Spoke with Eric who was very empathetic. He then shared that he hears the same from a lot of customers. I request a 10-12 ft truck and he tells me Im going to put you in a 15 ft because thats all that is available he then quoted me a price for a one way rate and tells me they arent picky about which location you return it too so he will cut me a break and give me the one way rate! He sends me an email to confirm and tells me to check in online will save me a bunch of time! I open email and do so immediately after we hang up. I go to pick up truck. When I get to counter I am asked to provide all the same information I already gave once on the phone and again through the online check in. I tell Bianca this and I am in a rush as my belongings are sitting outside of a building ready to go with no one watching. Bianca sighs in frustration and apologizes. We finish and I pay her and she just needs to print receipt. At that time her computer freezes. She does apologize throughout in the most sincere way a post teenager possibly can. She then asks for help from an older guy. He brings the transaction back up and asked me for 100 dollars please! We all let him know that I have already paid just need the receipt and contract to print. I then have to start the whole process over AGAIN. At this point all my belongings have been unattended for over an hour. At the end however this time he tells me I cant rent a truck with them until I pay a balance from 2004 they have under my name. I state calmly and respectfully but direct none the less I reserved one on the phone with someone and confirmed online and have already paid you once but now youre telling me I cant rent the truck! That doesnt make much sense to me, does it make sense to you? And How much do I supposedly owe you? Bianca says we cant tell you have to call this 1-800 number... she then says she can refund my money and gives me the number. I call and give the woman my information. She tells me she has no record of a balance.. Bianca comes over and interrupts me to ask me if I have 54 cents so she may make exact change.. I tell her no Im sorry Im on a phone call right now just give me the exact amount back please... I then confirm with woman on phone they have no record of a balance under my name or license number. I hang up and tell Bianca this, she then says to my friend who was there to help me move well we can just keep everything the same and put his name instead, want to do that? I say yes please. She asks where we will be returning it I tell her the name of different location same town though and she says ok, prints contract and we confirm the mileage rate for anything over 50 miles is .40 per mile as stated on the contract. I just left from returning the truck. I ended up bringing it back to that same location. The first guy is going through inspection and looks confused, I say I rented it here yesterday and Im returning it here see, and I show him my slip. I said I ended up just bringing back here but everyone I spoke to yesterday said that was ok. He tells me I have to go inside now... same gentleman I worked with less than 24 hours prior doesnt remember me. He then goes on to charge me .79 per mile as the one way rate of .40 cents per mile is for pick up and drop off at same location. He as other employees consistently exuded utter confusion . I calmly and respectfully tell him picking up and dropping off at same location constitutes the one way rate correct? He says yes. I say I have indeed picked it up and returned it to the same location as required in my contract. So having done that the one way rate should indeed apply? Does that make sense to you? He knodds in agreement fumbles on computer for 5 minutes and then charges me the appropriate rate. Absolute worst experience I have had in recent memory.
Waited 45 minutes just to be told the truck had been outside waiting. Having to make sure the info is the same using a link was time consuming and useless. Since I had been waiting so long my link expired...Not very helpful, slow, poor service.
Waited on hold for 20 mins. Looking at the reviews it seems like this is the norm. I can only imagine how much money this place is missing out on. I called the U-Haul over on Hooksett Road and they answered right away .STAY AWAY!!!!!!

I was there on 3/10/19 to pick up a cargo van and I wait more than 35 minutes on the line and I asked for help one of the ladies her name was Daniel I told her can you please help me out And she came to me yelling and screaming she told me I’m the manager for today you not going to get the car cargo van and you need to leave the store just because I was asking for help terrible experience
