This place may as well be a national treasure.The food is way better than it has any right to be at their prices. They make a mean pork steak and their sides are delicious too.Youd be wise to keep this place in your back pocket anytime youre in valley Park

Great food and is own by a great family. Hands down the best deli sandwiches and BBQ! They have just about anything you need. They also have cigarettes that are cheaper then the gas stations! We love The Corner Market! They care about their customers and will go out of their way to take care of you.

What a cool little store. Had an amazing deli fresh sandwich that I told myself I was only gonna eat half of. That didnt last even though it was enough for two I smashed it. Decent selection of drinks and chips etc but definitely dont leave without a sub.

On 7/26/21, immediately after the St. Louis County mask mandate went in effect, this corner market put a sign on their door saying must wear a mask (I live across the street so it was easy for me to notice). Upon entering through the very same doors on which that sign was posted, the store was full to the brim with maskless customers. Even the cashier (only employee) had his mask down to his chin, rendering it completely useless. While I was checking out, a customer harassed me for not wearing a mask. I looked at the cashier and he ignored the situation. If you want to support a business that respects public health and cares about human life, go elsewhere. If you are interested in helping breed new variants of COVID, this is your shop (please dont)

Dont judge a book by its cover!This place has some great food and nice employees. We got a cold sub with roast beef, ham and turkey. Also a Reuben. It was all customisable. Excellent quality lunch meat. The associate making our sandwiches was very sweet and professional. You even get a free cold canned soda with any sandwich/plate above $2.99. Huge chip selection to go with your sandwiches. They also have hot food (brats, pork steaks, Italian beef, etc), which smelled fantastic. Ill def be back to try more. Because their menu is huge.

I wish I could give this place TEN stars. This place is an institution in Valley Park that EARNED the respect of everyone in town over the course of DECADES. The family that owns it is like family to everyone in town, and their deli-food, and BBQ is absolutely BETTER than any that you over-pay for somewhere else. If you havent had it you are MISSING OUT. Do yourself a favor, and wander down there on your next lunch-break, and get a country style turkey sandwich with everything on it or a slab of ribs. You wont believe the price, and you will be BACK. I guaruntee it.

The place is dirty as could be. They do a hell of a job on making sandwiches. Mostly use boars Head meat slice it right there and toast it on fazio bread. Winner winner. Corner market sandwiches my favorite.

Amazing little place. Great food and great staff and friendly. ALWAYS clean theirs always someone cleaning and stocking selfs. If not their cooking something up mean in the kitchen.Will be a repeat customer.

Convenience store + sandwich shop. The owner granpa and the other staff were very friendly and helpful, but this store is listed as a grocery and it is not... Probably not their fault, but this is more of a small convenience store or essentials market with lots of beverage choices, alcohol, tobacco, BBQ supplies, snacks, ice cream, some canned food, some toiletry essentials and paper products. No fruit, no vegetables, no produce. The best part is the sandwich shop. Delicious and large variety of meats: salami, brats, kielbasa, turkey, ham, roast, even braunschweiger. Its not a destination spot. Its not a big pretty white bleach mopped grocery store, but if youre in the neighborhood and need some basics, you can feel safe walking in here with your 3 year old.Bottom line: not a grocery store, but very nice family that runs a convenience shop + sandwich shop.

Their deli counter is a great stop for a quick blue collar lunch. Their BBQ is great unless its sold out, but they always have the Corner Market Slam
