Over all, this Hannaford to go experience has been a big help to us. Today is just one example of excellent customer service. I could tell when I called it was busy but, Lisa took the time to help. Our customer experience has been a plus here. Jessica has always been amazing too. Well miss her as my husband says she no longer works here. She was always wonderful.

Supermarkets are places that you go to buy the things that you like...as soon as I like something enough to make it one of my staple purchases, its like they make a concentrated effort to stop carrying it.

Very rude, they gave me a very hard time because I returned a Hannaford dinner that tasted bad. After I waited 15 minutes, rude manager kept saying date is still good so nothing wrong with food even though I told him plainly the mac and cheese tasted like paste and it tasted very bad and I hope I dont get sick. He was actually arguing with me about the food that he knows nothing about, not bright. They mistreat repeat customers, do not shop here. They never said sorry either for the bad product or for the inconvenience. He said the best he could do is put it on a Hannaford gift card. I said no and demanded my money back. I got back double my money because it is a Hannaford product. That is their policy and they didnt want ro honor that but I made them. I let them know about how many times I shopped there in that store in the past but that will change in the future and how ridiculous it was giving me this hard time and rudeness for no reason. Make sure you get your double money back if you return a Hannaford product. That is their policy and they have to honor that. They should treat customers with more respect and understanding. I have have purchased many Hannaford dinners in the past so I am very familiar with their products. That will now change.

Its a big store with good selection thats always clean. I especially happy with the meat and seafood department. The staff their has given me some great advice for cuts of meat and fish and has never had a problem doing a custom cut for me.

One of the best places to shop on this side of town. You can usually find everything youre looking for in one store. The place is really clean, the staff is very professional, responsible, respectful, and knowledgeable. Prices are competitive but very good.

This particular hannafords has fresh pet dog food in the tube at a great price. My two dogs Daisy and Buddy appreciate it.

Sour Slimy and partially rancid pork.Now you would think this would not be happening when these grocery stores are making countless millions in profits as the virus still ragesVery disappointed. I prefer the one in Londonderry because of the attitude of the staff. I witnessed unkindness three times in one visit. Nobody was kind, helpful or courteous. Sorry, I dont like a bad review but I dont think I will go back here. Ive tried a few times and cant believe theyre the same company. I hope you fixed whatever was wrong that day because none of the employees were happy.

This Company has a super great appeal to it. Walk-in to a self service hand sanitation station. Excellent amount of Organics to choose from. Watch for the ☆, ☆☆,☆☆☆ guiding stars!

I really enjoy shopping here. Ive shopped here for 10 years and havent had a problem. They have a great selection and a lot of accessibility to and to top it off if they dont have something you want, you can put in a suggestion card and they genuinely try to get it in stock.

Im never buying Hannaford Brand anything again. Last week bought there brand of granulated sugar, got home was almost all rock hard chunks of sugar. Now today I bought there brand of green beans for dinner. I dump the can into the pot & stir & found 10 green bean end pieces/stems.. GROSS.. Get much better Walmart Brand stuff alot cheaper..

Always have everything you need if its not out on the shelf somebody will go out back and look for it might not have been stocked yet but for the most part everything is always fully stocked very clean store very friendly employees helpful very educated and courteous and polite one of the best hanovers Ive been to everythings always fresh and great deals

My husband and I have been shopping at the Hannaford John Devine location in Manchester for 20 years. For the most part, we’ve been satisfied with their products, service and staff.Yes, things were crazy during the heat of covid with lack of stock; the same as just about every grocery store but lately things have taken a turn for the worse.A lot of the products have been returning to the shelves but I have noticed many of their items are starting to go by the wayside. Moldy produce and baked goods, spoiled meat, especially the fresh chicken.Almost every time I’ve tried to buy fresh boneless chicken breast I’ve had to throw it away. The smell was so bad as soon as the package was opened it was obvious it had spoiled even though it was well before its expiration date.I’ve pulled moldy garlic, bell peppers, cucumbers and tomatoes out of their produce sections to set aside so that other customers don’t accidentally buy them. Hey, these things can happen quickly with produce, I get it. But if I can notice it why can’t the manager/employees of this department notice it too? It should be sorted through regularly in my opinion.The final straw was when my husband went to pick up a few items today and couldn’t locate the Country Kitchen White bread. He saw two gentlemen in the bread aisle that he thought were employees and asked where he could find that particular bread. One of the men asked him why he would want to eat that bread, it would kill him. My husband explained that his wife (me) has diverticulitis and I need to follow a low fiber diet with the fiber content less than a gram. The man then told him that he could find that “moldy” bread over there as he motioned to another section of the bread aisle.When my husband returned and told me what happened I called to speak to the manager Lisa. Lisa explained that the two men were actually distributors and that she actually heard part of that conversation. She told me she talked to the two men but never offered a resolution. I expressed my concerns with her concerning the spoiled food, etc as I’ve explained in this review. She did apologize but there was no reassurance of trying to improve these issues.I have to be very careful with critical diverticulitis. I can’t even imagine what would happen if I ate spoiled food. For that reason, I will not shop here anymore.Shame on you Hannaford. You should care more about your customers!!

Prices are good, especially on their own branded products. If you thumb through their weekly flyer you can save even more. They dont have Market Baskets selection, especially for ethnic foods, but unless youre looking for something specific, you should find everything you need.

We always have a positive experience at Hannaford. Employees are always in a good mood. Its obvious they have good management. Prices are not the cheapest but they have a lot of good sales. Just plan your trips accordingly.

Favorite place to get groceries in Manchester. I work nearby and live in Nashua- there are places that are closer, but the team here is top notch. Friendly and helpful, even during the crazy COVID mobs, and they always keep the place clean.

I dont know where they get there foods or how they store it but I cant tell you how much food Ive had to throw out after only a day or two because it went bad. I bought a melon, had mold two days later. Bought bread that doesnt last more then 3 days, packaged meals that were soured, Im sick of wasting money, there are people who dont have food in this country and Im having to throw out.

First time using the Hannaford To Go option. Wonderful quick service. They picked the best produce. They even substituted an item when the expiration date on the one I ordered was a couple days away. Everything was packed neatly in brown bags with handles for easy carry, and they put them in my car. Im not sure I can go back to the old way of shopping ever again!

Relatively expensive but offering better quality and more items than other stores.

Not from the local area, but like to visit this supermarket when Im here. Decent supermarket, it has lots of good stuff, had all the basics, as well as some higher end products (but without them trying to be a Whole Foods...). Decent craft beer selection. Its pretty easy to navigate through the store and get out.

Hannaford supermarkets are really nice and clean. My only problem with the market is stock .a little worse then Market Basket.

Overall I do a lot of shopping there for smaller items for our business lot of the food product their prices I will have to say our rather high I mean Ive seen the times where the lobster is $2 more a pound then rival market basket but other than that I go there frequently simply because its right down the street from where our company is but if I need to shop and buy quite a bit extra stuff I will stop over at market basket simply because I can save substantial money but Ill give a Hannaford credit they got an extremely clean store they got great employees and like I said its a little more expensive but I still do a lot of shopping there.

Overpriced and illogically played out. It shouldnt take 20 minutes to find an item you have purchased before after being told the store does not carry it.

The only reason this supermarket doesnt get 5 stars from me is that you pay through the nose for the quality, cleanliness, and service. All of Hannafords stores in our area are nice, but this store in particular is IMMACULATE and very friendly. Its beautifully laid out, the signage is clear and easy to use, and the quality and selection are both excellent. The prepared foods area offers a wide variety of fresh selections to order and the sushi is good as well. But keeping up a store to this level is labor intensive, and it shows in the prices.
