Clean and nice. Huge selection of alot of Asian snacks and foods. Definitely added to our regular list of International stores to stock up on our Food Favorites!Where else can u get your live eels, lobster/shrimp chips, and Halal chicken feet at the same stop!Did I forget about the HUGE live lobster!
Excellent quality of food and selection. One of the few places you can shop right now where most everyone is wearing a mask.
It’s rare that you find an Asian grocery store that’s well stocked. Of course be careful when you buy a box of mangos because you can not inspect the mangoes. Surprise there is a halal butcher on site! They have goat and lamb meat. There’s a mini cafe but they close from 3:00p - 3:30p for lunch, of course the time may change. They have an on site bakery. The bbq pork buns are just as good as the Asian bakery in NYC. The bbq pork buns are not halal.
Staff inside can barely talk English. They dont exactly understand what you are asking. They got a wide range of items but should probably have someone on the floor that can understand what customers need. Some guide you to some random place and waste your time
Selection is great. The best organized Asian grocery in St. Louis. If you need someone to help though, the customer service is non existent. One time I needed a tape measurement for a cookware there. There were people to stock shelves but they didn’t speak English. I finally found someone that speak English but there was no tape measure in the whole store. Another time I ordered carry out from the restaurant inside. The lady was rude. Apparently you had to pay cash if you ordered less than $15 and it actually had a sign there. I seldom bought there to remember that. She could have told me that politely instead of being rude.
Kind staff and impressive selection. Clean store and fair prices. Nice place--Ill be back!
Very busy, but its got a diverse selection of imported foods and products
A large amount of items are available at this store. Its more dry good than bakery or fresh items. This store does sell them, but the selection is small. The fresh food and bakery items were fresh. The freezer and dry goods sections were massive. This location has a restaurant in it. It serves great food. Prices are reasonable for most items. Eels and other live or fresh seafood items can also be found here.
Seriously a wonderful place. We feel so lucky to have Pan-Asia in our neighborhood. We love to order from the restaurant and bubble tea counters inside. The store is always clean with pleasant lighting. Spacious, great selection, and friendly, efficient service. Even though it may seem like a niche store (i.e., primarily imports from Asia), its truly a competitor for other, mainstream supermarkets. What a wonderful gem that enriches the multicultural diversity in our community!
Larger selection but pricy. I visited Pan Asia looking for Korean groceries and found that they have much more variety of goods compare to other local Korean/Asian marts. I found all the items that I was looking for. Other local Korean groceries carry very limited selection that I rarely find all that I need. Vegetables, fruits and other produces were fresh too. Pan Asia was indeed a very convenient place to shop but the only pet pee is that their price was a bit on the north side.
Great selection of different Asian goods. Reasonably priced and amazing staff.
5/16/2021: very bad experience with mangoes from this shop -- this is the third time this is happening and I decided to post a bunch of photos about rotten mangoes. No idea why they need to sell such bad mangoes. What a waste of my money and effort. You need to get a lot better with your mangoes Pan Asia. 👎👎👎👎older review: Great place to get a collection of Asian food -- great inventory compared to any Asian shops in the region. I wonder why they dont separate meat and fish section from the rest -- the smell from wet market could be significantly reduced if they implement this change.
This is such a cool place. Huge fish and produce selection. Also have live fish. Theres a restaurant and bubble tea bar inside.
The largest and best Asian grocery store in the area. Great selection. There is everything from Indian to Thai to Korean here. There is even a bubble tea kiosk and a restaurant inside.
This is one of three large Asian supermarkets in St Louis area. This is the only one in west county and the other 2 located in University City (Seafood City Supermarket and Olive Supermarket). You can find all variety of food in here. There is also a restaurant inside the market. The place is clean. The food quality is great and the price is reasonable. They also have fresh produce and seafood.
Not.enough.superlatives. in English language. I think I have rated this place before so I will keo5it short: if you are in anyway familiar with Asian cuisine or Asian cookware then this is is your store.
Great store and quality productsGreat selection of Joss items and incense
Awesome stock of international ingredients, but beware, shopping during their busy time is a nightmare for introverted people pleasers. I found myself looking for quiet corners to take breathers in the chaos.
Awesome asian supermarket. Well stocked and comparable to any asian supermarket on the coasts. Go to china bistro inside and order the beef chow mein. Best I’ve had in this country, better than anything in NYC.
Were in this plaza for something else and decided to step in. Glad we did because it was a really cool experience. Every manner of Asian food and drinks you could ever need. They have a little restaurant inside, a meat counter with some more obscure items, and live aquarium items. This is the closest you are going to get to a Chinese supermarket in West County I think. The selection is overwhelming if you dont know what you are shopping for. However, still kind of fun to just browse.
Been here several times, and I could spend hours browsing! They have spices Ive never heard of! Prices are excellent! I bought a 12 oz jar of minced ginger for around $4.50. Next up is an attempt to make homemade sushi/California rolls. They stock dozens of different types of rice. This is a great store! You want a live eel? They got them. You want a calf head? Yup. Need a dozen kinds of fish balls. Help yourself!
I specifically stopped here to pick up some senbei crackers. They had a limited selection but was still able to find some that I liked.
Great selection of food you wont find in the local supermarkets!
Aisles and aisles of good stuff. Need a bigger cart for my haul and of curse a Boba milk tea for the road.
Honestly I had never been. Was amazing fresh sea food and great prices my nephew and I were in there for a long time just browsing and came up with new foods to try and cook.
Really great restaurant in the store. Noodle soup with pork belly is the best😊
This place has everything you could want in an Asian market. Groceries of all kinds, including live seafood. (Fish, crabs, clams, eels, etc.) You can get cooked foods at the cafe inside and you can get boba tea at another store inside of Pan Asia.
Good prices and variety. Well stocked section of Iranian spices, pickled dongles, rice, beans and other essential ingredients. The back is full of a variety of seafood which is not my bag, but people seem to buy it with delight so Im sure it meets their reasonable expectations.
Lots of asian products. Very nice place with a restaurant inside
Great place to pick up Asian ingredients and lunch.
WOW THIS PLACE IS INCREDIBLE! It was our first visit. Definitely wont be our last! So many items! Prices are VERY reasonable. Store is clean and well organized.
Nice store for all your needs from far east to middle east.
Love the large variety ofethnic foods. foods.
One stop store for all of my kitchen needs.I find everything that I need in Pan Asia.
If you cant find what you are looking for here it probably doesnt exist. 🤣 Amazing stock of groceries and the bakery & restaurant are so great.
I liked Pan Asia because they have everything that I need. People are very helpful.
By far the best Asian and Halal market in St Louis. I can never make it out of there in less than 2 hours... Had to restock the Mi Goreng noodles, Udon, spicey prawn Vietnamese noodles, some Korean spicy instant noodles and instant Toppokki. Also could not forget hot pot concentrate base and the essential soup seasoning cubes. They had a great price on 30 40 count had on shrimp, a new bag of rice cakes for the homemade Toppokki, some fresh spicy dried tofu and to round it off a nice selection of assorted shrimp balls, fish cakes and fried tofu from their choose your own freezer section which is sold by the pound... Almost forgot the quail eggs which is essential for ramen and hot pot....
Honestly this place is a great one stop shop. So many different types of foods and groceries available from so many different places. People are friendly and quick to help when asked.
Good place for Halal meats, Indian groceries, avoid fruits here there are better places to buy fruits than this one, all Indian groceries are good they are very competitively priced. They have other groceries too cover entire Asian countries !
They have such a wide collection of items! Plus they have a little section of makeup and skin care by the front door thats lovely. They also have a restaurant that wonderful as well!
Lots of variety..I enjoyed my shoppibg experience ..there is also onsite a Bubble tea station and hot food to go or dine in.. Nice atmosphere .. Friendly staff..I recommend the visit..
Searching everywhere for crawfish and they had it, hooray.. they have an Asian restaurant and a tea bar, nice
Everything you could want, reasonable prices
Wide selection of many different foods with wide aisles and friendly service. A great place to find those hard to find ingredients and discover new favorites.
They have a good selection of seafood, I go shop there at least once a week
Great collection of foods, friendly and helpful staffs, but sometimes there is a tired, not so friendly one.
It is amazingly huge asian Market in Ballwin,MO.They have tons of parking space and friendly staffs. They have asian restaurant inside supermarket. There are large selection of asian groceries with great price. They also have fish and fresh meat market inside the store. Finally,I find all my groceries at one places. I am sure it give tough competition to some indian grocery stores around that area.
Really cool store and delicious little restaurant.
The best Asian store in STL. The little restaurant inside is authentic and SO GOOD. Must try.
I love coming here, and miss it when Im away at college. This store has amazing selection, fresh produce, and amazing food
Really good food and quick service. We will be planning to be back.
This place has an ever growing number of international products, seems like every time I go in here they have a new section. Great prices
I love this store. It is always clean and the workers are helpful and friendly. The food at the restaurant is fresh and filling and affordable. I can always find something new to try out and the favorite items I return for are always in stock. I could spend a full day in this store and never see everything.
Best Asian grocery store in the area.
Its a great market if you want to get fresh fish because they can sac it in front of you. They also offer custom size cuts of mutton (lamb meat).
Surprising number of items. Nice big store. They seem to have just about everything
Good for Asian groceries with reasonable price!
This was our first time to this store. Amazing and so many things to choose from. This is a large store with isles full of interesting products. You can even order meals and eat there. Quite fascinating if your into exploring new places and ideas!
Best Asian supermarket in St. Louis. Way better than olive supermarket.
Every Asian cuisine product you ever wanted. Great little lunch restaurant inside store. Fresh fish, Asian bakery, bbq pork, rendered duck, all kinds of fresh veggies and spices. Great place to get lost shopping for interesting stuff.
Lots of variety. Was able to find things that I havent at other stores. The employees were nice as well.
Didnt have everything I wanted, but they have a large selection. I grabbed some new things to try.
Great selection of everything. Best Asian store that I had shop at. Prices are afford able.
Impressive selection. Clean. Reasonable prices.
First time customer and I loved the way the store was laid out. It was very organized and clean! The store had a very large selection of foods from different Asian countries!
I go to pan-asia to get sea food like salmon fish. The Salmon fillet with bones is having a good quality and taste. You can also try some seasonal fruits and Asian vegetables. The billing was having very easy process.
Great place to shop for Asian !
Lots of interesting and fun things to eat. Incredible selection and prices!
Any thing you can think about, you will find it there.Clean and good organized!
They have a great collection for most of the well known Asian countries. Must visit for Bangladeshi, Indian & Pakistanis
Great store, unique selection, great prices. Clean inside, nice cashiers, live seafood and the best hot peppers and other fresh produce. Awesome treats and what looks like 50lb bags of rice. My kids beg me to come here all the time. Sake selection is huge, best in st.louis area. Cheapest cookware I have ever priced.
Good selection of asian food and groceries. Good prices
Very good place for live sea food
Absolutely amazed with the variety, constant replenishment, and freshness of the meats and vegetables.
Many Asian foods .. Fruits vegetables, meats, Fish, Seafood, dishes, cooking Utensils, household items ... Relaxed Atmosphere ... Refreshing from American Mkts. ..
Its really clean and nice to shop in since it has a bakery and restaurants inside! Theres a lot of products to choose from and theres even a Face Shop inside too. The only downside to this super market is that its always crowded. No matter what time or day you come in, its always crowded which isnt good because of the current pandemic. I just wish the store was a bit larger! Other than that, this store is one of the best supermarkets around!
I see.no reason it should not have a 5 star rating.Everything is available. Fresh vegetables/fruits. Across all asian countries.1- star is pending.Because I had two experiences of Expired snacks in Indian section.Next time it happens, Ill take a picture and report it officially.Otherwise, the experience is peachy. No issues in any other food dept.
Good selection of Asian foods. I love the ramen section. There are plenty of cashiers and my wait has never been as long here compared to seafood city or the olive market. Much cleaner and does not smell anywhere near as fishy. Would recommend. This also has a bakery section and a section where they sell duck, a fish market area.
Great market! Lots of choices.
Loved it. Lots of items from lots of countries. Good produce at a GREAT price! Ill be back!
Great place to shop, wide selection on items you cannot find in typical American style grocery stores. The restaurant that is in the middle of the store is reopened after Covid restrictions were lifted but is staffed by rude people who are not invested in client service what so ever. Just avoid the cafe, and you will have a great time!
Really cool place to shop even if your not Asian. Live seafood like fish, lobster, clams, eels.
The drive time to pan asia was something my husband and I weighted heavily when we were looking for a house last year. Needless to say we simply cannot live without this awesome store!! It’s so clean and organized, staffs are very friendly and helpful. Every time we visit (on a weekly basis) we find something new on the shelf. Also the restaurant inside offers authentic food with a very fair pricing. We enjoyed all the dishes we’ve gotten so far. 100% recommend!!
Pan-Asia, as its name describes, has foods from all over Asia. Its a very popular market because it has ehtic foodstuffs from so many countries. If you go to one of these oriental markets, the measure of it is the availability of fresh foods of all types. There are a number of smaller stores that offer packaged goods that basically do not spoil, but thats not really the best stuff. If you want to make an excellent stir-fry, for example, use fresh water chestnuts instead of canned. Theres a world of difference youll not know until you purchase good fresh water chestnuts, cut away the skins of the fruit, and eat it. At Pan-Asia, you can get good, fresh ginger (unlike any other non-Oriental Supermarket), you can get peeled garlic at a reasonable price, you can get mango at low prices, often excellent, and you can even get fresh jackfruit. Youve got a whole set of vegetables and tropical fruits that you wont find many other places. Once you shop there, youll go regularly for the interesting things that just arent available elsewhere. Its even bigger than Olive Supermarket. Prices are also low on almost everything they carry, but its the selection and quality that will bring you back again.
This place is amazing. Such a huge assortment of everything. I cant believe today was my first time here. Theres really nothing I can say that others havent already said.
Exceptional staff and excellent prices. The products selection is amazing. It is large and fully stocked. Highly recommend.
Great store with lots of choices of food, clean and organized. The prices are good, too compare to other stores.
Good place definitely a step up for a international market. Stl have still more room to expansion
