While I understand Sears has not been doing well as a company, I always get my home appliances from Sears for its good prices and home delivery/installation. Never had any problems. I hope they will stay around in Mall of NH.
I only go in for Craftsman tools. Sears in general appears to be poorly managed from the top down. Antiquated register system, lack of workers probably die to low pay and poor training. I have empathy for those that are working there. I hope this location stays open so I can still pick up tools conveniently.
The only reason I go to Sears is for the stove top polish - the best out there. The rest of this store is in shambles. The clothing departments are a big mess with unfolded clothes everywhere. Sears has been on the ropes for a while; I think its time for them to close.
Staff was not very friendly or knowledgeable. A lot of standing around chit chatting amongst themselves. More empty shelves than product to buy. Seems to be a great place to work if you want to be paid to socialize and do little else.
I dont shop here much for a reason, associates really like to make you feel like your broke, and look at my family like clowns cuz we have a big family. We are like a side show theres 8 of us at any given time and we are happy to be that way.
The tool department gets this review,as Sears as a whole is alright.I went into the tool department last week to get or order a replacement wheel that I broke while moving a big Craftsman tool chest. I went into Sears at the Mall of NH and found it being run by nothing more than punk kids. I waited for 12 minutes for someone to wait on me, then had him tell me that I had to have the exact model number. I told this kid it was the same as the large roll away tool chest that was on the floor, but he dismissed that and said to come back with my model number as it may be different. A quick call to my wife got me the same model number that was on the floor model! The kid looked up the schematic and found it. Then he claimed that they only come in sets of four, and claimed that I had to purchase the set if I wanted one. I asked about the Craftsmans guarantee, and he claimed that it was only good for small hand tools. I wish I would have known that before spending over 1,500.00 for this chest. He then informed me that the set of four wheels would be over $70.00 with shipping. I left and went to Fastenal in Manchester and got my wheel for $17.501.Stay away from Sears tool department in Manchester2. Sears is very deceptive about the Craftsman Guarantee, make sure you ask when buying a tool if it is covered .
Sears is a wonderful place to shop and get deals with customer service...its not ALWAYS service. Customers dont understand that i been and seen alot. Wish everyone give all workers a CHANCE
Would not accept a return. I bought for christmas said it was to late. I took it to a different store earlier they said had to go to this store. For 45 dollars on there stinking credit card. There people skills suck. I think the bitchy woman standing behind the man was a manager. Goodbye sears no wonder why you are closing
Im not sure but think this Sears is closing down I maybe wrong but seemed very empty and a lot of clearance but Sears all together has been going down for awhile their items use to be top of the line and worth the money but not anymore its a shame whats happening to this economy
Never dealt with the customer service. I get what i need and Im out. they have a decent selection of hex socket bits which i need some times for work. its nice having them by so i can get tools the same day i need them.
Customer service here is beyond rude and borderline insulting. During a pick-up of a large item, the woman was very rude in her mannerism of providing help, as in we were bothering her by being there. She was snappy and did the least amount possible to perform her job duties. Sears you are already in trouble, so you might want to at least get your customer service in order to retain what little customer base you might have left. We surely will never return for anything.
No customer service in the store better off calling another store to get a question as youre standing in the store or looking online you will probably get your answer quicker but I guess it really doesnt matter because Sears stores are all going out of business I dont know what the answer is but I guess it really doesnt matter anymore what type of review I give them so cuz theyre all be gone shortly anyways oh well so I guess this review does it really matter
The people who work in the auto department are rude and unhelpful, my wife bought tires from sears and had them mounted and balanced with an alightment done. At highway speeds the tires bounced around which never happened before the tires. The desk clerk told her the car needs a suspension test that she will have to pay for. Never had an issue till tires were replaced. They did not want to check balance of the tires for her. Went to Salem Sears where the gentlemen were very helpful and informed my wife if suspension was off the alignment would not of been done and that the tires were off balanced. Do not go to Manchester Sears because they dont want your business I would either go to Salem or Portsmouth Sears.
Remember when Sears was the place to go....not no more. Are they closing down????? The shelfs are bare and the people that work here are rude and just hanging out chatting with co workers.
This place has got to have the worst customer service ever!!!! the tool Department to be exact!! dont care what so ever about doing there job. More interested in doing a wordsearch.....
Good place to walk around, shop the stores, and enjoy some good food.
The store is closing and is pretty much empty.
Enjoy it while it lasts. Much of their inventory is gone, but there are deals to be found!
Good sales. Disorganized. Going out of business
Last week my husband brought in my vacuum for service and discovered the 5-year extended warranty I had purchased when I bought the vacuum had expired 3 days earlier. Although the repair service rep (Kim) was supposed to end her shift hours earlier, she placed a call for my husband to find out if the warranty could be honored. After she was kept on hold for more than 20 minutes with Sears Corporate Headquarters, my husband gave up and took the vacuum home. The next day, I got a call from the Sears Warranty office offering to extend my warranty for another year, for a reasonable price, which I gladly accepted. When I brought my vacuum in today, I discovered that Kim had called again the next day to follow through on my situation with the Sears Warranty office. The real value in Sears, I believe, is in the quality of the people who help you face to face in the store. I am very appreciative of Kims efforts to go above and beyond to help me out with my Sears warranty issue.
Service is beyond repair much like the dishwasher they have been out to fix 7 times in 6 months also before I qualified for a $650 credit, so I go down to pick one out, not only am I out $300 I got a phone call telling me I would have it Monday or Tuesday. I called to get a time and they told me I wasnt even on the delivery list.Screw me once shame you! I wont be learning the hard way..
Very disappointing. I was looking for a new stove and the salesperson couldnt have been less helpful. Can you reach that hon? I retrieved the item for her and left
Decent place to find tools if you cant online. The prices seem OK. For anything else its pretty terrible. Cant believe Sears is still in business to be honest.
They stole my lawn mower. Took a craftsman brand mower in for repair 7 weeks ago. Supposed to take 2 weeks to repair. Now they cant find it and wont return my phone calls (they dont answer the phone when I cal them). This is the very short explanation of the situation. Its actually far worse.
LIARS!! SCAM!! CHEAT!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Sears in general is just garbage when it comes to service. I purchased a new 75 gallon gas water heater last Friday for a tenant occupied property that I manage. The total of $1600+ was charged to my credit card and I was guaranteed installation on Saturday. I provided the tenants contact information to Sears to arrange the appointment. I followed up with them Friday afternoon, and they had no record of my purchase. I got transferred from the orders department to the installations department and neither knew what was going on or which way was up. I was finally told it would have to be pushed from orders to installation but it would be processed and they guaranteed Saturday installation. They never contacted me or the tenant again, at all. I called Sunday and found out they had it scheduled for Monday morning. No one even told me and it was guaranteed for Saturday. Monday comes around and guess who they called this morning when they were on their way?? Me, thats who, I am in a different time zone and states away, yet they call me for access to the property. Obviously the tenant info was not communicated to technician, or he chose to ignore it. When the tech did arrive at the property, guess what, he didnt even have the water heater with him to install!! I paid $1600 on Friday to get it installed Saturday, they show up on Monday without the water heater!!! They were there to repair the old one, when they already have my money for the new one!! They were trying to scam me out of my $1600 and just repair the old one!! The tenant told them this was wrong and they left. I am trying to get it worked out with Sears, but I have spoken to so many different people and keep getting transferred from orders, to installations, to the water heater hotline, again, no one has any idea what is going on. It looks like it “maybe” installed tomorrow, 3 days after the guaranteed install date. I purchased from Sears because of the same day guarantee and it’s a scam, a lie to make consumers purchase from Sears! Don’t believe it!!---UPDATE: They just called me back, they can not install it until Thursday, 6 days after guaranteed install date!!! ITS A SCAM!!
This store is like a ghost town, mostly in ruins with how understaffed it has been for months of overpriced clearance. Most of the good stuff is long gone. Whats left is Walmart level items at double the Walmart price.
Sears is ok. Definately not what it used to be.
Prices were good store was a mess. Definately looks like it is closing
Good stuff, weird electronics policy.
Its their last day of being in busines and all the workers have attitudes...thank god my daughter was with me or I would have lost my mind on someone
Closing, go get a good deal.
70% off, getting picked over. Go before Thanksgiving to get any remaining merch.

Going out of business. Place was a mess.
Always a ghost town and not well lit inside. Store is closing November 2018
I went in looking for some exercise equipment to add to my at home gym. Most of their equipment floor models were missing pieces or broken. Not very impressed. I obviously did not make a purchase at this location.
Sears is dying slow death. They stopped selling USA made, thats why.
Great place to shop!
Loved it but now it is closed
There on the close list for next week listed (8/23/18)
This sears is closing mid to end of November according to a couple of the workers.
Not happy I purchased a washer and dryer less than a year ago and they have been out to fix it 3 times now. The techs they send are rude and dont know there products they have to look it up on there system. I purchased the extra warranty and they keep telling me my warranty is expiring when I have another 5 years! Would never recommend to anyone and if I had the option I would return both
Going out of business ...I think this location already closed
Didnt have night gowns for older adults
They are to expensive considering everything is on clearance because they are going out of business
Quiet and sad.

I spent a half hour on he phone being bounce around from dept to dept and then I gave up.....
Lady in the vacuum department was rude and disrespectful.
Total disarray as has been for months
They were running out of stuff
Two employees were rude in appliances. There are many sale signs on items with a regular price. When i asked i was told the air conditioners arent on sale. I asked why the sign?
Customer Service on Phone was awful on 2/17/2016 .. If they dont want to help people then they should work for DMV....
Great store
