Friendly staff, popped in for state inspection, walked around Old Town Manassas while they did it, got back about 35 minutes later, we were done.Previous owner of my car had all their work done here. I can definitely see why!

Staff is friendly; work is done quickly; however, mechanical work was not done properly. Prices are quite high, and they often add additional labor items to make the bill higher. Have had other problems with my vehicle since allowing them to work on it. Might be coincidental...

Bob and staff are the best thing since butter beans, mustard greens, corn on the Cobb, and chicken wings in a Las Vegas summer. He goes the Xtra mile to make sure your car is right. He only uses quality parts. You even have an online service history for your vehicle. His rates are very fair and he is always friendly. I love this place....

Went in for inspection. Failed for fog lights. They diagnosed that the fog light was not needed ... was actually disconnected ... after reconnection ... good as new ... was not charged for the part. Excellent service. Highly recommended!

This shop is the best in the Manassas area. They do excellent work, they are polite, and they dont upsell or fear monger like most dealer shops do now. My only regret was not finding them earlier.

Called at 10:00 a.m. on a Saturday to see if they could do a safety inspection. 30 minutes later, I drove off with my new sticker. Just remember that they close at noon on Saturdays. Friendly, competent, and honest. These are THE GUYS.

Me and my husband are from Aldie but happened to be in Manassas because our kitten had to go to the emergency vet nearby. We dropped our kitten off and had some time to spend and decided to get our oil change while we were waiting. We passed by Dominion Auto Repair on our way to the vet so we called them to see their price on oil change. However when they picked up they immediately mumbled something and placed us on hold. I was clueless on what just happened and had to ask my husband what he said. Lol. After 5 minutes I decided to hang up and look elsewhere.LO AND BEHOLD! Old Town Auto Repair!As soon as they picked up the phone, the man on the other line had such a friendly warm voice when he answered. He answered my questions and said they were available to take us in as soon as possible. When we came in, there was a beautiful golden retriever waiting to greet us! Haha. RILEY! Service was great and quick. They were very helpful in answering questions and seemed honest about their service. They had a keurig and drinks available for customers and a nice seating area. Olde Town Auto Repair did a state safety inspection for me, and I asked them to take a look at my tire, which had a slow leak thinking Id probably have to buy a couple new tires (buying them in pairs). The first think I noticed was their promptness--they were a bit slow that day and could fit me in right away, and they took care of my needs promptly. The next day, my tire was reading low again, so I took it back in and they found that the valve stem/pressure sensor had come loose, so they fixed that and got me on my way for no extra charge. I really felt like they were trying to earn my trust and charged very fairly for their work. Ill definitely be back.

We all struggle to find HONEST auto repair services. Read the other reviews. This place is the only place that has never screwed me over on a repair. I recommend them head and shoulders above EVERY other repair shop in this area.

You know that saying “under promise, over deliver”? Well that is exactly my experience with these guys. They quoted me about 3 hours and it was ready in an hour. Great first experience here, and I highly recommend! The guys (Bob and Mark?) were super nice, and there was the friendliest golden retriever that greeted me when I first walked in!

Really great service. I will be back for a few more repairs (ball joints/wheel bearings in the future) I had an alternator replaced, they explained services (i.e. Testing so on), but I asked for replacement only and they did what I requested, which was great, instead of some other places wanting to up sell you. They also quoted a price an the service came in cheaper than the quote!!! Thats great!!! I dropped it off a day earlier than appointment and they took the car an got done with it before the actual appointment. I been to a lot of mechanics in last 30 years in Ohio and Massachusetts and here in Virginia, I give these guys five stars and two thumbs up!!!

Awesome service! Went in for an inspection and new tires and the guy inspecting the car (Mark I believe) was honest and told me the car is good enough as is and to take the car to Costco for a better deal on tires. He gave me some tire recommendations and prices too! Really above and beyond customer service. I typically hate taking my car in because I am treated as a dumb woman who knows nothing about my car. But I didn’t feel that way and they actually made me feel like I was well educated on my car.

Well, I decided to go for a safety inspection for my Mazda6 (bought in March, 2017), having only 23000 miles on it. I figured it would pass inspection with flying colors, but oh no, I was wrong. It failed because of the brakes. The brakes work just fine and the inspector admitted as much, but the inspector asserted that there is lots of rust on the rear rotors, and gave my car a fail inspection sticker as a result. I looked carefully, and did not see any rust (I saw some tiny score lines, but no rust). I also checked the precise rules for brakes, under section 19VAC30-70-440 - Service Brakes, and did not find anything regarding rust on the rotors being a reason for failing the brakes, even assuming that my rotors have a lot of rust on them, which they do not have in any event. So, if you want an ultra-detailed safety inspection which will likely fail your car for just about anything, go to Olde Towne Auto Repair; otherwise I would recommend going somewhere else. The dog Riley in the waiting area is a nice dog, I must admit. I went to another place the next day and the car passed with flying colors, by the way.

They wanted to charge $400 to change the spark plugs and wires. The dealership charges ~$200 so I have no idea why they tried to charge double. While the customer service was decent (minus the attitude given when told we will be taking our vehicle elsewhere), I will not be returning.

Very honest, dont try to up sell you on things you dont need, which you dont run into these days where shops will give you this whole detailed mechanical thing that you dont understand but make you panic - they dont do this. First time I brought my car in, (brakes) they told me I didnt need any work done where they could of just lied and said I needed them done. Ive taken my car back twice and am always happy with the service. Totally trust them and they are also incredibly nice. Go visit Riley, the resident dog - shell greet you at the door with a lick or two!

The emissions test on our 2004 mustang expired in April and I could not renew the registration. Called Olde Towne Auto and Bob told me to come right over and they took care of it. Excellent service! Always a pleasure to deal with. Best shop in town!!

Ive been using Olde Towne Auto Repair for many years and have never been disappointed. Just the other day I was on my way into work and one of my muffler clamps rusted out and the muffler started dragging on the ground. I called them as soon as they opened and they were able to get it fixed in no time at all. Very prompt and responsive!

These guys are kind and fair. I was there last week for a noise that (unsurprisingly) didnt show up during the inspection. Today I took it back, they figured out what was going on, and fixed it for free! They said since I had just been in and they couldnt find anything then not to worry about it. You wont find that at a dealership!!!

My GMC is getting old but its still going. With age, things just seem to fall apart 1 part at a time. These guys at Olde Towne Auto have been taking care of all my auto repair needs with A+ customer service. Prices are so competitively fair, dont even bother going to the dealer any longer. Sometimes I will being the car in to replace something I think needs to be done but the folks at Olde Town will give an honest opinion about not replacing anything that does not need it. Who turns away business like that? A fair auto repair facility thats who. These are getting rare to find these days. Will keep on bringing them my business.

I went there to get a pre-purchase inspection and they saved me from making a potentially huge mistake by pointing out the problems with the vehicle and giving a comprehensive diagnosis along with their recommendation. Also, they were able to recommend me to a local restaurant area while I waited for my inspection, and I thought that was considerate.

This is a great shop with excellent customer service. Ive mostly had them do my inspections and emissions and I always walk away with a smile on my face. Although I had an trouble code that initially caused my Jeep to fail its emission test, they didnt pressure me to have their shop do the work to sort it out. When I came to pick it up, they gave me a couple tips and told be the best drive cycle to make sure the ECU was ready for testing. It turned out all I had to do was clean a couple of the intake air senors and the electrical contacts, perform the drive cycle, and the code was gone. They squeezed me back in before the shop closed to complete the test so that I could register the Jeep before the month was up and the registration expired. Everyone there is just top notch. Dont hesitate to bring em more work, although they are busy ... but its no wonder.

The only mechanics I trust for over 20 years. Keep going back even after I moved further away.

Bob Roach called me to report that my paperwork detailing what was wrong with my car in writing from the delearship was false, misleading, and to come pick up my car. The car was fine and not to worry!! My friends have always used this place for a reason.

I took my car there to see what was wrong with it, this man said just leave it here so they can see what was wrong and they would give a call in the morning as they did. They were going to charge me $700 to fix the radiator and thermostat. Sheesh! and on top of that charge $60 something for taking a look at it. Mind you, never spoke on the charges of having it looked at. I wouldn’t recommend this place

Use them for my Subaru. We were having horrible issues that the dealership seemed unable to fix. This shop discovered my problems were caused by the dealerships repairs, fixed them inexpensively, and no more problems. Weve used them ever since.My car runs well now and maintenance is inexpensive.

Have used them for all of my vehicles repair and maintenance since they opened the shop on Prince William St. Accurate estimate, quick turn around.

Dont let them work on your car unless they know how to fix. Had them replace a clutch in VW because the clutch went out. Once they had put together the car and tested they inform me the transmission was bad because they could not shift into all the gears. Quoted me for additional 1000$ to replace the transmission. If they knew anything about VW, they should of known you had to realign the clutch cable instead of trying to sell me an all new transmission.

Quoted me a job to replace a master cylinder for a work truck $100 cheaper than some of their local competitors, and did it same day. Happy with the service provided.
