The only business in the area that I trust with my Audi B8.5 S4. I have had them work on my S4 not infrequently in the past. Always a good experience.My story: I recently visited to have new rotors and ceramic pads installed. Shortly after checking my car in, I was asked to speak with the mechanic working on the task. He related to me that my existing pads and rotors were 90% and it wasnt critical to replace them. I let him know the new equipment was to lessen the massive amount of brake dust the OEM pads generate. That level of honesty displays a commitment to treating their customers with respect and their belief that a relationship with the customer has a greater value than turning a quick profit.I always correspond with Benji via email. Never a bad experience. I have some more work coming in the early fall. I will actually be asking if they can do basic maintenance as well. Book soon because they are always busy which is a good sign. I highly recommend NGP.

If I could give more stars I would. They are very professional and have great rates. These guys know their stuff and I always trust they will do top quality work on my car. I had them install their type 1 coilovers on my GTI along with other suspension goodies and couldn’t be happier. Great work NGP! As long as I own a German car I will bring it to you guys.

They do a decent job but are severely overpriced. Getting charged $190 for a 3-5 min job is crazy. Getting charged for store supplies when I brought all the parts is crazy, even though there’s a separate fee for the only part they used (tape). Being that I was never told there was a charge I assumed it was free because of how easy the work was and I was already spending $500 for a separate install. I didn’t get a chance to see the breakdown on the receipt until I got home so I have myself to blame as well, but I do have a buddy scheduled to see them in a few weeks and I’m glad I was able to at least tell him this before he spends a lot more then I did. Nice store, nice guys, but I hate when businesses find every penny to charge and then you only find out when the work is done.

This Family Dollar is one of the businesses thats been providing for the black and brown community before all the changes in the area and I will make sure to support. First time coming here. Brought my 2012 Audi A4 here for a carbon cleaning and I had an excellent experience. The car was running rough and they made it run like new. I worked with Russ and he did a great job answering any questions that I had. The price for the job was good and I would recommend them to others!

I could go on for a while, bottom line is, this place is the best. My car is a 2012 Golf R, and Ive been coming to NGP for about 2.5 years now and couldnt be any happier. Im not the most knowledgeable about cars, but these guys are so patient, and take time to run through items one by one, and explain to me exactly what needs to be done.Sometimes were on the phone for 30 minutes as they explain in detail to me, so that I also understand the reason for things. I wish I had found this place in 2015 when I first bought my car.

Lovely shop. They are very upfront with you & give you all the information you need before taking action on your modifications/maintenance service. They are a bit busy at times so definitely plan to book an appointment a bit out but it all depends on their schedule so give them a call! Only shop I would trust my Audi S3 8.1V! On 8/6/21 I took my GLI in for the license plate being out and the walnut blasting in hopes of fixing my sputtering problem thats been happening since my tune that they did on my car. A good solution wouldve been detuning and seeing if it still does it, which was not offered. The service advisor, David, was rude to say the least with less than deplorable behavior. Upon my arrival I told him what I was in for and my car goes back. One hour later he calls me up and tells me my car is throwing all these different codes for my fan not working and then says theres gonna be a diagnosis fee for the sputtering. I told him no, I told you I wanted the walnut blasting in hopes of fixing the problem, not to diagnosis anything. On top of the $799 for the walnut blasting he wanted to charge an additional $98.53 an hour plus the $98.53 an hour for the license plate light, which I told him was just the wire, plus $590 for the fans. After I told David that my car never showed any signs of over heating he tried to explain that it had been happening for 3 weeks and said he would show me. Being a former service advisor myself, I asked more questions and explained that I am going to be making a big purchase and wanted to be sure I was spending money on something that is needed now and could not wait. David became visibly irritated and said Ill just pull your car out because you already said you dont have any money and I wanna get paid and would not show me the what he was talking about and for that reason I will never trust anyone there with my baby again. It seemed as if he knew how much I love and cared for my car and tried to play with my emotions. As a former service advisor Ive always treated my customers car how I wouldve wanted my cared for and hearing doors slammed while standing at the counter.

Nice shop that really knows what theyre doing. Had an APR Stage 1 tune done on my GTI and found out from the techs that the previous owner had done it in the past with a warranty tied to the VIN. Saved me some money and completely changed the feel of my car for the better. Will definitely be coming back here for performance upgrades.

I got an APR TCU and ECU tune ($499 each + $125 labor). Higher grade spark plugs were recommended so I did that too ($240 for four RS7 OEM plugs and labor). The work took about 90 minutes.

The team at NGP is very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Im a return customer but this was my first time at their new location in VA. Their new facility is top notch. Plenty of parking, their garage looks great and their waiting room is nice as well (during the covid-19 pandemic they have a tent with chairs set up outside to observe social distancing which kept me cool and comfortable while I was waiting for my vehicle).Even though their shop is over an hour drive from me NGPs workmanship and customer service will keep me coming back to them.

The name of the game with this shop is consistency. You will get the same level of customer service and professionalism each time you go. Got a nail in my new M3 tire which I took to NGP to patch it. When I went to pick up the tire, I believe it was Benji at the checkout window assisting me. Benji said they could not patch the tire from the inside because it was not possible (BS! see pic) due to where the nail had penetrated. He said their technician tried everything (remove tire off wheel, tried to patch), but it was not possible to put a patch inside the tire, so they had to put a plug in it. This was a complete LIE as there are no signs of the tire being removed off the rim or new weights installed. See pic of wheel after repair. THEY ONLY PLUGGED THE TIRE!!!I asked why was I not notified the tire was not patchable before they put a plug in it? Benji said THEY PLUG TIRES ALL THE TIME. I advised him I did not authorize them to install a plug (see work order) as that is a temporary fix and unsafe. I voiced my safety concerns but Benji said it is safe and they plug tires all the time. I advised him that if anything happens to the tire or my safety because of this plug, it is their liability.After I left, I called couple of tire shops and asked them if they plug tires and both said NO it is against company policy to plug a tire because of safety. I asked them if they can patch my tire and both said NO because they cannot guarantee a fix after another shop worked on it. I was able to have a local garage repair the tire with a patch. The shop confirmed the tire was never removed off the wheel as claimed by NGP and that they only put a plug in it. The plug was also poorly installed and it would have fallen in if I hit a bump. I have attached pics of the repair by the other garage that NGP claim was not possible.I am very disappointed with NGP because they have no concern with customers safety. They use methods to repair tires that are considered unsafe by other tire shops.Please be aware that what you are quoted on the phone and what you pay at the window are not the same. They hide costs from you, perform unsafe repairs, and lie about the work they perform. They tried to charge me $51 for a poorly installed PLUG!Unfortunately, I did not have a positive experience with NGP, I hope others fare better.

Benji and Mike love performance cars, they really know their stuff, and are happy to dispense advice over the phone and in person. I was hearing a worrisome noise in my Golf R and I wasn’t trusting the diagnosis from the VW dealer. Mike and Benji took a look and correctly diagnosed a transmission issue, and not rotors or clutch. Armed with their helpful insight, I went back to VW and got the transmission replaced under warranty.

I have a 2008 R32 and 1st went to NGP in 2010 to get a turbo added and a APR tune. Went back a number of years later and modified the suspension. Just had a Peloquin differential added with numerous other general repairs.They have also worked on my Audi Q5.These guys know their stuff inside and out, are professional in every aspect, quality work and run a terrific business. Good choice if you go with them.

These guys are just absolutely the best. I had some aftermarket wheels that needed to have tires mounted & balanced and they offered a great price. Despite being completely booked, they offered to squeeze it in when they had time since they were loose. I just dropped them off the same day I spoke with Benji and they were ready the very next day. Correct tire pressure as well because they are that thorough.In the past I had taken my previous GTI to get an APR Stage 1 tune which went smoothly. It was my first venture into modding despite owning many VWs. I asked for suggestions on gradual mods and Mike provided in great detail what he would recommend. I wish they were closer but still worth the drive out there. You can entrust them with your vehicle needs, they seriously know their stuff and bombard you with amazing customer service.

I cant say enough good words about the staff at NGP. For one thing, the scheduling is easy and the staff is always helpful, friendly and professional. They do their best to get you in as soon as possible and theyre accommodating. Then, the prices are good. Went in to do coilovers the first time having shopped around the entire state and several big cities, they were the only ones to not try and rip me off (being a woman). Finally their quality work. I love my metal pet and am very particular with it. The thing is, these folks care about your Audi/Vw as much as you do, they specialize and they take serious pride in their work. Thats why I keep coming back driving upwards of 200 mi to get there. Worth it.

Hands down an awesome shop, my number 1 recommendation for work on German cars. Have used their shops in multiple cities and it has always been quality work, very knowledgeable people and reliable parts.

I havent had the time to write this, but optimistically you will improve your service.The job was done, but that ends up being an irrelevant fact. It took them three weeks to fix my car, I only received three updates on their work during that interval (I didnt need the car urgently, but they didnt know that). Despite charging me for gas, my tank was empty when I picked up my BMW. A day or two after, I noticed that the exterior was dirty (with what looks like over spray paint), removable but simply unpredictable. Also, an interior light was out, again, arbitrary.

I live out of state and was interested in purchasing a Porsche 911 from a dealership in Manassas. I arranged for a PPI to be done with New German Performance (NGP). Benji was extremely professional and took extra time to collect details about the car while setting up the appointment. On the day of the appointment, the dealership (with which I had arranged separately to bring in the car for me) failed to deliver the vehicle to NGP. When I was notified about the dealerships failure, I called Benji who was gracious about the missed appointment and again took time to talk through my purchase decision with me. While I ended up not having any work done at this shop, I came away impressed with their professionalism, knowledge, and understanding. If NGPs wrenching is even half as good as their customer service, I recommend them without reservation!

Mike and Benji know both cars and how to treat customers; a rare mix. The mechanics here perform quality work at reasonable prices. The shop is quite a hike from where I live, but I will not let any other shop touch my car. I have even narrowed the brands of my next ride to make sure I can keep coming here.

Been going to NGP for years now for various maintenance, tunes, exhaust installs, etc.Because of 2020 I’ve found myself driving more for work (oddly) so I wanted to spice up my sound in my 2016 GTI. I know with covid supply chains and shops are bogged with work. Called a couple weeks ago to inquire about an AWE track exhaust, and to my delight they had one and an opening for today, BOOM Sold.I departed work in MD at noon for a 2pm appointment, understanding that construction on the relentless rt. 66 was gonna be an issue, it was, but I ended up arriving way early 1pm and Mike was friendly as always, showed me to a awesome wait area (covid) inside the bottom of the warehouse. Took my car up immediately, I was back on the road in about 1.5 hours.Long story long, the professionalism, quality of work, attentiveness to dumb questions from me keeps them my number one stop for mods and maintenance.

These guys are great. The new location is still under construction, but it sounds like it their finishing ideas will really set them apart from other performance shops. This place is a 1 stop shop. They also have a GREAT online store.I love my APR tune on my Audi A4 2.0L Turbo and all the performance parts I have bough from them.

NGP has repeatedly proven when theyre the only shop I trust to touch my car. Ive gotten a Stage 1 APR tune and my engine mounts replaced by them. Recently, I got a new set of tires installed by a local shop. Afterwards, around 65-75mph my car had this weird vibration that was unsettling. Took it to NGP to get the tires rebalanced and the car rides like its on glass.Go to them! They take pride in their work. Even if its a farther than your local or usual shop, paying to get quality work that gets it right the first time is worth it.

I finally picked up another Audi and the first place I call to get the flash tune and maintenance services is NGP. Benji and the team here are professional and patient when you have questions on maintenance and performance upgrades. Email is always the best way to contact them for scheduling or questions, they’re busy and that’s good, even during the pandemic.Their new location in Manassas is huge compared to the old location. Ample parking, easy to find for the most part and spacious/clean waiting space for customers. During quarantine, they’re still open and assisting customers through the window allowing them to wait outside with chairs provided, leave or have pick up services which is awesome.The stage I APR flash tune took less than an hour and definitely feel a difference in the higher rev range. I’m here now getting my oil changed as i write this review. I’m excited to get my down pipes and move to stage II with NGP. If you want to make sure your vehicle is in good hands and have a team who know what they’re actually doing, these guys will guide down the right path to make sure you’re back on the road again quickly.

Purchased a CTS BorgWarner kit with a 3 bar map sensor and had NGP install the kit for my MK6. The install went smooth even with some hiccups and dropping the motor do to a snapped manifold stud. Ive always had good experiences with NGPs nova shop. Ive had a tune and downpipe done to an A5, a tune done to an S5, and have an upcoming appointment to do dual pulleys, CPS system, catback exhaust, and a new tune to an S5. They were super patient with me while we worked through what I wanted within my budget, and they provided me updated quotes and genuinely good advice along the way.

I took my car to the dealership for an oil change and they told me I needed all new brakes, so I took my car to NGP and they showed me how my brakes were like new and I was able to get my money refunded from the dealership for the oil service. I went over 7 years before needing brake pads for my car....and NGP checked it over 3 times and ensured me that I did not. Knowledgeable, personable and welcoming staff! Dont go anywhere else!!!

Been taking my mk5 r32 to NGP for all maintenance since 140k mi. Currently at 222k mi and my car is running beautifully. The quality of work is top because these guys know what theyre doing, especially after I added mods since warranty expired. Labor rates are very fair and these guys are always upfront about everything. They take the time to explain the work needed. Anything the dealer can do NGP can do for much cheaper. Even when I rent a car while they work on my car, the price overall is still lower than the dealer. Ive never had any issue they couldnt fix. If you own a VW/Audi/Porsche or any Euro vehicle, I recommend NGP for service maintenance or performance modifications.
