NOT FEMALE FRIENDLY!!! I have been using Coho Auto for the last three years and I thought they were trustworthy until they charged me over $850 for a spark plug replacement and radiator flush. I was not given an estimate before the work was done and they held my car for 7 hours for something that should have taken 2. I was stuck paying an astronomical amount of money that I didn’t agree to. I also asked in person for a state inspection that was not done. I’m so disappointed and frustrated that I ever supported this business because they milked me for money. By the way, in the last 3 years I have been there I have NEVER seen a female employee. Also, they have Fox News on 24/7 which says a lot about the intelligence and character of the men working there.

Couldnt be happier with the service provided. It was nice working with Cody as I get almost daily update on the progress, even though I mentioned that Im in no rush, he was always on top of things. Thorough explanation was given along the way while the car was having old parts refreshed, and even more details during collection. Options were laid out and not at all pushy.

When you go to Coho be sure to request Jesse Hupko as your mechanic. He is experienced, hard working and trustworthy. He will never recommend work that you dont need and if you do need extensive work done, hell be sure it gets done correctly. I have always had my car worked on by him and have never been disappointed. Request him specifically and youll be set.

They got my car in the day that I called. Called me the next day as soon as they opened to explain the situation and how they were going to fix it, with a very fair and accurate estimate and had the car ready to pickup before I got off work that afternoon. They were able to fix something that the Volkswagen service department couldnt even diagnose (Lindsay Volkswagen is the WORST). This place is fantastic, professional, and I couldnt be happier with the work. My GTI will be coming here for any issues I have in the future.

FEMALES BEWARE. This place is a joke. It’s important to note that I am a female and I’ve worked on cars before (via following YouTube tutorials). They charged 150 to run check engine light diagnostics (eye roll). But I mean it was worth it to me just because of the hassle factor of trying to figure out the problem. HOWEVER- when I got the diagnostics back they told me that my spark plug for cylinder 4 had gone bad and it would be 650 to replace one spark plug or 1000 to replace all the plugs. It took all my strength to not LAUGH at the guy over the phone when he said it. I have a Honda Pilot for reference which is NOT a difficult car to work on. I ended up buying the 12 dollar part myself and figuring how how to change it / swapping it out all under an hour. Super super easy fix / minimal tools needed. Coho will smile to your face and act super kind, knowing full well theyre going to try to rob you when they give you the estimate. I think it would’ve been more cost effective to just take my wallet and light it on fire.EDIT/RESPONSE to owner comment. For some reason I’m unable to respond on my phone to the owners comment on this review I made. He stated that the upwards estimate included all 6 spark plugs + 6 coils. Big whoop. I switched out both myself. For those of you who don’t know- you HAVE TO remove the coils to get to the spark plugs anyways. Therefore changing the coils is virtually no extra effort. 9 MINUTE YOUTUBE TUTORIAL watched once and I was able to do it myself. Very straightforward process. This Business relies on people going “jeez that sounds complicated, I’ll just pay them to do it because I have no other choice” instead of YouTubing it and realizing that a lot of issues require extremely minimal effort and brain power.

I had to have some work done on my car recently. I was looking for a good place to s service my car, I saw COHO has very good ratings so I thought I would give them a try. I thought I needed brakes but once they inspected, they told me the brakes were good. A lot of places would have told me they needed changing to make a buck but COHO didnt. You have to love an honest company. I had some other work done and Ill have to say they did a great job. I definitely recommend COHO.

Got my vehicle serviced here. It was great customer service and a knowledgeable staff. They were honest about what my car did and did not need. They weren’t trying to take my money. I really like there service!! I like that they call before doing any work on my truck. I recently had to get a new gas tank and tire due to something in the road hitting my truck. I like that they called before working on my truck letting me know the costs. No surprises I also like that they look over your vehicle and let you what you will need soon or what to watch out for. Extremely thorough service. The technician provided pictures and notes on suggested repairs (the entire inspection report was helpful). Brought my car to Coho for a second opinion, after my dealership quoted me a sizable estimate for electrical work. Coho confirmed my suspicions, that the work was not necessary, and saved me a lot of headache and money. I utilized COHO automotive for an antique car project and could not be more pleased with the service and attention I received from all staff members. I require a good bit of attention as a customer and he never failed to return a call or email within a very short amount of time and would constantly give me updates and feedback. While this may not be the most inexpensive garage in the area it is certainly worth the money you pay, the shop is clean as a whistle and the attitude of all staff members is top notch, which can sometimes be difficult to find in the mechanic world. Everybody seems happy who works there and I am really glad I live so close to here. You can trust these guys, they are the best!

These guys are amazing. They found and fixed an issue Ive had for over a year that two other shops (including the dealership) couldnt figure out. And, for an excellent price! They even found and fixed a minor vibration issue I didnt even know I had without adding anything extra. On top of that, Chris reaches out to you personally to ensure everything is going ok. I went in to get a little work done on my Porsche 911.Their pricing is fair, and their turnaround time is phenomenal. It might just be the dealerships Ive been to in the past, but previously even small jobs always took a minimum of 1 week to complete. With Coho, I dropped off the car at 5PM. By 9AM the next morning, I had a detailed report texted to me with photographs of the repair areas. By the next day, all work was completed. I was able to drive away and have the car for the weekend. Utterly unexpected, and awesome customer service.

My girlfriends Ford Escape recently had to go under the wrench at Coho Automotive. They quickly diagnosed the problems fixed the problems we were having with her SUV. Brought my vehicle in. Normally a shop will call to advise on what the cost would be for repairs left on drop off night ticket. When I brought this to the mans attention checking me out he looked at me like I was speaking a language other than English and mumbled.....under his breath... I guess Ill pay our technician glad I didnt pay for the seperate cost because my vehicle is still making the noise they claimed to fixed and have to have paid their technician who fixed it.....The facility is nice and I understand this pandemic has people on edge but in a customer oriented service you need to realize without customers youd have no pay check.

I have had nothing but superb experiences with Coho Automotive since I first found them on-line. I recently had a check engine light come on - on a Friday and they scheduled me for Monday (even though they are closed on the weekend, I sent an email and they responded - kudos!). It was Superbowl weekend and I missed my return flight from CA, but they took me as soon as I arrived on Tuesday. And as it turned it - it was just my gas cap (needed a new one). They didnt even charge me for the diagnostics, just the cost of the gas cap. I wish there were more companies that took customer service as diligently and sincere as Coho! Five Stars all the way!

I initially had a great experience as a 1st time customer. I took my vehicles here for a year or 2. I saw a steady decline in the level of service over that time. Repairs seemed to take longer than promised. Pricing became less competitive and finally there was some work done on my truck without prior consent. The way its supposed to work: bring in your vehicle, get the problem diagnosed, they call with an estimate, you approve or decline proceeding. The last time, they just did the work without calling with an estimate first. Not very professional and disappointing.Updating after owner response: Chris, double check your records. I have at least 4 separate charges from Coho over the last year. Its unfortunate that I got more of an explanation in the response below about that trucks electrical system/battery issue than I did at the time. It doesnt seem to you that perhaps your team missed the mark here? Now surely you could understand a customers frustration over getting a charge prior to saying: Yes, please fix that.

My husband, Chris, started bringing our cars to Coho about a year ago, after we started feeling like our old garage was trying to get one over on us. I had my camaro towed to their shop after it refused to start.I was sure it must have been something complicated as I had plugged in a scan tool, checked the connections, even attempted to jump it, when none of that worked I had it towed to their shop and informed them of what I already tried.after having the car for only a short time they got back to me and informed me that it was an internal issue with the battery and that a new battery was all that was needed.I feel like most other shops would have happily suggested a plethora of other more expensive reasons but they were completely honest about it and very polite when I choose to replace it myself.I even recieved a follow up text from the owner on how my service was and happy Thanksgiving wishes, needless to say I will be using coho for any future repairs.

My Honda van needed a minor repair to the power steering. I needed to car later that day for a promised trip with the grand kids. The guys at Coho made the repairs and got me on the way. The van was ready ahead of schedule and I feel safe going down the highway. Steering is important.

I feel like they are very fair and reasonable in their pricing, the service is prompt, and never had to return the car for a do-over once a job is completed. Also, appreciate their being pro-active, reaching out with a gentle reminder when a due date is coming up for routine maintenance, etc.

Great service every time. Coho is not a churn garage; they want to make long-term customers and their attitude shows that. Will keep going back even though its a 45 minute drive for me.

Im not savvy on cars, but whenever I bring my car here for regular maintenance I feel confident theyre taking care of any issues that are current or could occur in the future. Theyre honest about what needs to be done. Its nice they have my car for at least an hour or two, test driving it and actually looking the car over- not just changing the oil and giving it back.

My car is important to me so Im careful who I let work on it. I chose Coho Automotive because the staff is professional, and the work is always spot on and reasonably priced. I know up front what work needs to be done, how long it will take, and the cost to repair. The lobby has excellent amenities with hot/cold drinks while you wait in a large air conditioned area with cable t.v., magazines. Appointments can be scheduled on-line and I can drop off the car overnight if necessary.

Coho has been very accommodating in having your car fixed at your schedule. They also contact you later to ensure that everything is still ok with your vehicle. Not too many places do that! That personal touch makes you feel that they care about you and your vehicle- which they do!
