I was in an accident and let me say this I brought my suv in and they moved fast. Checked my vehicle out got me scheduled in no time to get it fixed. I loved how they kept me informed at all times with the maintenance of my car and when it was going to be completely done or if they found new problems. My vehicle looks absolutely amazing and I appreciate them taking their time to make sure everything was done right. Unfortunately for me I damaged the front end of my Prius that necessitated visiting Joyce Koons Auto Body shop—a place that I have had been before for the same reason. The people there are so gracious, competent and credible—traits that lessen the trauma of having the automotive work done. Alex Coray was the person who did the estimate and kept me informed of the progress of the repair. This is the second time he provided me with this service and I greatly appreciated his thoroughness to very detail so much so that my 2007 Prius looks like I drove it out of a dealership. I am so pleased with the work!

Never having used a body shop before, my boss recommended this body shop to me. The paint on my Sierra is not easy to match, but the guys at Joyce Koons knocked it out of the park with the paint match. Andrew and the rest of the shop are quick and efficient to update the status of the process, and install quality parts as well as perform great work. Lifetime warranty is a great added bonus.

When my son had a collision with a deer back in January 2017 I was stressed by the oncoming circus that is usually the auto repair experience… I had placed a claim with Allstate using their mobile app. I night-dropped the vehicle at Joyce Koons Body Shop the next day (Sunday) in order to get it repaired. I received a call from Mike Poston before lunch Monday. He explained the process I would be facing and I waited for his return call. By 2 o’clock Mike called to tell me that while writing the preliminary estimate the vehicle was fast approaching the NADA threshold for a total loss according to Allstate’s rules. I told him that I was not interested in saving the car and asked him to proceed with a total loss. I stopped by to get personal items from inside the car and collect the tags and this is when Body Shop manager Andrew Boehm mentioned to me that the dealership offered a total loss referral discount. Since I needed to find replacement transportation, I met my son at Joyce Koons Honda GMC Buick to get a look at options for a replacement vehicle (please see my post about our experience with Salesman Derek Lombardi and Sales Manager Tim Welton on their Google page). When the representative from the Allstate Total Loss department called the next day, I told him we had already replaced the car!!!!thanks to everyone that made this a rather pleasant experience!!!

This body shop is located at a very dangerous intersection; be aware when driving to it! The shop is not as good as it appears to be. I had to bring my car back again for a simple bumper replacement. The initial repair took over a week and half and few weeks later I had to go back because it wasnt hooked properly.This was very time consuming!!!

Great work and paint match. Car looks new again and I receive a lot of compliments to that end. However, they didnt replace the underlying splash guard that had cracks in it. They said it was reusable but to me it reminds me of the accident. I believe my insurance paid for replacement.Update: The auto body shop took care of my concern, no problem. I was in and out in 10 minutes. Very nice people and easy to work with. Looks great! Thank you.

Amazing Service by all means. Alex, one of the body shop managers, evaluated by car, submitted pictures to my insurance, and provided estimate very quickly. Alex ordered my car parts needed right away, meanwhile I was still using my car till the parts got to the shop on Monday. I dropped off my car on Monday, they finished their work on Wednesday. They washed and cleaned my car, outside and inside.Joyce Koons were very professional in handling the job on my car. they life time warrant their works. THANK YOU JOCYCE KOONS and THANK YOU ALEX. My car was Toyota Tacoma 2017 and was in the shop 06/01/20 to 06/03/2020.

Awesome experience. Mike was my representative and he took the time to explain the process and made sure my car was done correctly the first time. The workmanship was excellent. The text status updates were perfect and gave me the information I needed without the hassle of calling or waiting to hear from a live person. I will recommend Joyce Koons to everybody. Love this place I have taken all my cars there. Most recently I had my Ford Explorer there, and Koons Auto Body went far above and beyond customer service. They had given daily updates from the shop about my vehicle, to let me know when it would be done. When my insurance would not pay for my rental they picked up rental on them which was huge. I would highly recommend Koons Auto Body to anyone looking to repair the vehicle. I have heard disaster stories from other shops in the area. You wont get one if you take your vehicle to this shop. They treat everyone with respect and kindness, and will go the extra mile to make sure you feel your vehicle have the attention it deserves. Keep up the great work!!!!

I recently took my damaged 2016 Honda CRV to Joyce Koons Auto body for an estimate and then follow up work. A thorough estimate was generated quickly by a knowledgeable and friendly technician, and scheduling the work took no time at all. The job was completed before schedule and it cost several hundred dollars less than originally quoted. On top of this I received a 10% discount when I paid.The entire experience was outstanding . I would not even consider taking my truck anywhere else for repairs. The body shop work, and customer service are top notch. Took longer than I was originally told but it was well worth the wait. Would much rather have it returned in perfect condition than to be returned and me need to determine it should go back.I cannot say enough good things about this shop. Hope I dont need their services again but it sure is good to know they are there.

Got hit in a parking lot on Saturday and got into the body shop on Tuesday. Cannot tell anything happened. Perfect body work and everything functions just like the day I bought the car. Good place to bring your car and the staff were quite helpful getting me a rental.

This was my first experience with any body shop, and it was terrible. The only good thing I can say is that they fixed all the damage on my car the first time. Problem is it took almost twice as long as I was told initially.I first came into the shop, and was told that they wouldnt want me to drop off my car for two weeks because they had to wait for parts. As this was the shop recommended to me by my insurance company, I had to wait the two weeks or risk paying more out of pocket if more damage was found. So now Im out two weeks already with no car.When I dropped my car off (on a Tuesday), I was told it would be done by the next Wednesday, and that I would receive a call about the progress on either Thursday or Friday. I received no such call.I called on the following Monday to see what was going on, assuming that no news was good news. I was wrong. My point of contact at the shop, Mike, told me that it was on schedule to be done Friday. I reminded him that Friday was 2 days BEHIND schedule. He was confused, went back and looked into what happened, and found that there was more work they found that had to be done, which was the reason for the delay. I was never notified that there would be more work, or that there was going to be a delay. I had to call myself. Strike one.He reassured me that it would be done Friday. I was going out of town on Friday, so I asked my wife to call him and let Mike know to call her when the car was ready, as I would be unreachable. She left two messages in the morning, and got no response for hours. She then called the main shop, which wasnt much help either. He finally called her back, only to say that they were waiting on a part, and it probably wouldnt be done until Monday. Another delay, no call until I call myself. Strike two.So Monday rolls around, and Im back from my trip. All day I get no call, when I was told the part they were waiting on was a 5-10 minute fix once received. I called the shop around 3pm, to find that the part they were waiting on was the wrong part. I understand things happen, but why was I not notified of this? They were waiting on someone to bring them the correct part, but hadnt received it yet. After about an hour, I got a call saying that its all done and I can pick it up. When I arrived to pick up my car, it was a bit dirty, with bird poop in a few places on the side. Ive never been to a body shop, but I would figure they would rinse it off at least before I got there to make it at least look clean.I went inside, handled the paperwork, then asked to speak to a manager. I told him about the whole thing, and he apologized, but Mike was sitting at a desk behind him the whole time. He missed his chance to save face with me. He never apologized for any of the delays the entire process. I understand things happen, but if you dont call, man up. Strike three, youre out!Im happy my car is done, and the work they did was great. I just cant understand whats so hard about a phone call with something like this. A little communication, and I either dont write this review, or I praise them for the good work. A little attentiveness goes a long way.

Weve been dealing with Koons Auto Body for 25+ years. The reason for that loyalty is because they do such a wonderful job on our vehicles!! They guarantee their work, for as long as you own your car. A whole month. It basically took them a whole month. I’ve had to call multiple times to get updated on what was going on with my vehicle and even before that had to go there in person from the start to get them to start on my vehicle because apparently they never received the estimate made from my insurance. I was told yesterday as of today that the vehicle would be ready today in the noon. Came around 1 without receieveing a call from them to “pick up” my vehicle just for them to tell me it’s pushed back until the middle of next week because of an error. I was beyond irritated but had no words. On top of it all I have to pay off my vehicle for this month without even getting to drive it and pay a 1k deductible. FOR WHAT.

Fender and 1/4 panel replacement on a week old 14 Acadia. I was worried about the paint matching and any thickening that once upon a time affected a trade-in on an old Audi - repaired elsewhere. The things you learn in life.Beautiful paint job from Joyce Koons. Repaired really fast - Tues drop / Thursday completion.I will hopefully will never need to return but I will certainly insist on JKoons if I do.They cleaned the car to showroom standard as the touch to the professionalism and customer satisfaction.Thanks guys and girls.

Great Service is an Understatement. I recently took in my 05 Acura TL on referral from a colleague, The Total Damage to Actual Cash Value ration was being met due to car being a 2005 and not worth as much. I divulged the concern of me wanting to keep my car and not have it totaled by the insurance company. He heard that, and went above and beyond my expectations, with contacting the Insurance company and expressing my concerns about saving my car from being a heap of scrap. The whole process was smooth and Andrew would give me regular updates as i was biting nails hoping i can keep my car. I kept my car thanks to Andrew. Overview: I bought a new GMC Acadia and as part of the package of material that comes with the car there was a coupon for a free dent removal from the Joyce Koons Auto Body shop. Joyce Koons attempted to cut corners in the redemption of the coupon to the point where I declined the service. I have given them one star due to the poor professionalism dealing with a coupon redemption.Experience: I called to schedule an appointment, stopped into the shop, and the Joyce Koons gentlemen confirmed the dent (size of a nickel) qualified for the coupon. He said he would call me with an appointment to have it fixed over the next few days.That night I got a call from Dave, who Joyce Koons contracts out to fix the dents. I agreed to meet him the next morning at another dealership so he could fix the dent. When Dave showed up he said that he would need to cut an access hole either in the door frame or on the wheel well liner in order to access the dent for the repair. When I asked him to just unscrew the liner to access it, he said that would take more time and would not be free.I am very disappointed in the redemption of the coupon. A hack job where you cut access holes in the car to access the dent to save time so that money is not lost on the coupon is very unprofessional. When you issue a coupon, you should be prepared to properly redeem the coupon. Dave the dent repair guy said that the auto body doesnt understand the methods for repairing a dent (really?) and didnt understand how long it would take him to do it properly? The Joyce Koons gentlemen seemed to know his dents and said it would probably take an hour. Who cares how long it takes, not my problem. This coupon has Joyce Koons written all over it but it didnt seem like Dave the dent guy expected to get paid by them. If that is the case, Joyce Koons should be better educated on their contractors capabilities.I declined the repair service as I did not want to have have an access hole cut just to pop out a small dent.

Had a rear-seat entertainments system (dvd player and headphones) put in our new 2016 GMC Acadia Denali. It looks fantastic and the staff made sure to go over the features with us and show us how to use the system. They completed the install in even less time than anticipated too! I took my Honda pilot here about a year ago, and its the worst service ever. they dont know how to communicate with you i would call them and they would change the day of pick up for my car was supposed to be there for a week in total it was there for three and half week.. the day i went to pick up my car it took two hour went in and ask if my car was ready they told me that it is but have to wait for the mechanic to get back from lunch and do the final check up mechanic took an hour and half lunch. i asked them if that the only mechanic that could do the check out they said no so i ask for another mechanic to do it . they didnt know that my wife was in the other car next to my pilot and no one went and check my car at all i ask them and they lied to me i will never take my pilot there ever again...

The repair took way longer than estimate. They returned my vehicle to me with deer guts still all over it and the manger yelled at me why I didnt approve of that? The repair took almost three months and it was to be a couple of weeks! Ive had to bring back my vehicle six times due to mistakes they did. Go to the Manassas chevy repair shop they are on time and did an excellent job for our other vehicle.

I went to Joyce Koons Auto Body in Manassas, VA on February 17th after scheduling an appointment with Mike so he could remove the clear coat that Joyce Koons placed on my bumper in February of last year as it was repaired after an accident. Prior to the accident and repair, the clear coating on my bumper had NO issues, but within the past few months, I noticed a few small, dark gashes in it. When I spoke to Mike about my concern, he said that he would have no problem taking off the clear coating on my bumper and it should be only a 20 minute process. When they did take it off, however, a large chunk of paint came along with it. Mike and the manager (can’t recall his name) said I would have to pay to get it repainted, despite that they placed the clear coat on it originally and NEVER mentioned that there was a possibility of more damage if they removed the coating.My car left the shop looking much worse than it did going in, and Joyce Koons told me all they could do was give me a discount. I was expected to pay $212 and leave my car there for 3 days for them to fix the paint on my car.I strongly feel that this could have been prevented as I would not have asked to have it removed if it would cause more damage to my car, and since they did the work prior to and were the ones that caused more damage to my car, it should be taken care of free of charge.

Dont take your car there: these guys will side with the insurance company and low ball you.I brought in my car, had a rental from the insurance. They rushed to fix the car in two days just to please the inurance company so that they could get more customers sent to them.The issue was, they didnt properly fix my car and the next day that followed my radiator was leaking. Now the insurance declined to fix that and Koons body(Larry) shop wouldnt do anything about it. They are asking me to sort it out with the insurance company. Im gonna have to pay this from my pocket.Totally disappointed.
