You might not find too many crazy deals, but you definitely wont get ripped off.Location: 4/5- This shop is a little hard to find from the main road. However, once youre inside, the organization and store layout is absolutely top notch!Overall: 5/5, especially due to their wide selection of gaming collectibles and fun extras like gachapon machines and cold drinks. Gamers paradise captures the feeling of retro gaming perfectly, I always feel relaxed and interested in nearly every item I see. I’ve come back several times for multiple different dated accessories and games and they’ve delivered every time. If you’re looking for old controllers, cables, and consoles, Gamers Paradise is perfect.

Little hole in the wall retro - new game store. Staff has been friendly the times Ive gone and I have yet to receive anything defective from the several times Ive been here. Good place in my book.

Well worth a visit. The selection is great. I was able to find a wii mote for a reasonable price. Highly recommend if youre looking for hard to find accessories for older systems. They also sell figurines lanyards wallets coffee mugs stuffed gaming figures, various cables chargers, gaming wall art and other such items.

Not much in the realm of retro outside of sports titles and ultra common games. Even that is slim picking. They obviously have other business ventures keeping them around with the games as an aside. Its clean and prices are okay.

I called Gamers Paradise before going out about a Wii not working. They told me how much it would cost to fix it, and when I got there they told me that it would be better if I just purchased a new one. They didnt even look at my device.

14 days ago,my girlfriend and I went in to gamers Paradise to sell a Pokemon XD Platinum edition console with all wiring accessories including the adapter to hook up the game console since it is so old to a new smart television system. We also had paper Mario the Thousand-Year door game and case with the console. Upon entering one of the sales staff took the console and game to the back to check to make sure the console and game work properly as we are waiting for the 10 to 15 minutes that it took we browse the store. When the sales clerk motions us back to the counter he said everything checked out great everything plays the way it should there are no issues with a console or game he then offered $100 to buy both console and game. I declined because upon inspection online the game itself was being sold for $100 or more.the console without the extras was being sold for between 85 dollars and $150 so I felt that $100 was a low ball offer. Upon leaving we chose to give it a few weeks to see how anything would go. We watched closely eBay and Amazon to see the gaming console and game to fluctuate and they did not. So today on August 9th 2021 between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m. my girlfriend goes back into the store to see if the offer was still valid or if it had changed.most stores are willing to go up a little bit to sweeten the deal per se. Gamers Paradise did not they chose to lower their price to $70 for console and game when asked why the gentleman had stated that the game disc was too far scratched and must be resurfaced. The game and console had not been re hooked up or played since our first conversation 14 days prior from today so the scratches that were there are the exact same ones they were there 14 days ago. Due to inconsistencies and the feeling of being swindled I will not step foot into gamers Paradise nor will I give a good review too gamers Paradise. I also will not recommend gamers Paradise as a quality gaming store due to this situation. It is in my belief that once you make an appraisal on an item it is only right that you stick by that appraisal. Apparently gamers Paradise does not believe the same way.

These guys are knowledgeable and friendly, and my kids love the place! If youre in the market for video games and anime and want to shop at a locally owned business, this is by far the best shop around. Also, they have a pretty large selection of wall scrolls, and I love those things.

Very organized and clean. I found exactly what I was looking for quickly. Friendly service, and a good selection of hard to find older games. I unfortunately couldnt find a specific oddball cable. Staff throughly tried to find it for me, didnt just declare we dont have it and move on like most places. He explained why they didnt have it, exactly which cable it was, and told me where I could find it.

They sold me a ps4 and got it home and where you insert the disc at it doesn’t take the disc it keeps glitching and I brought it up there and they won’t give me my money back for it. Wouldn’t recommend getting game systems from here.

They was great getting back with me on a playstation I dropped off to have looked at since it stopped working. The only bad experience I have is I went to go pick it back up since it wasnt able to be fixed and the playstation was gone. They had a break in and couldnt locate my playstation.

Sadly reminded that we are in Alabama. Nice mix of games, but watched as cashier was friendly with other shoppers and our questions received short clipped answers without even a hint of a smile. As we browsed a young boy watched us closely, while other shoppers freely browsed. What started as a nice holiday visiting with family and a few days of shopping in Huntsville, AL was ruined by the cold reminder that holiday season or not this is the south.

Ive always like this store and people here are always nice. Can find some good stuff from time to time. Go check them out just for fun. I like browsing for hinden gems. But its a good store I think.

I really cant stress how much they helped me. The man behind was so very kind, patient, welcoming & informative. I brought in a gaming system for him to check out for me. He did that and was more than helpful. I would definitely recommend and return.

Super fast service! Took my PS4 in to get a estimate for a repair and they fixed right away.

I purchased a PlayStation 4 console to have to return it for not working properly.I would suggest anyone making a purchase to rethink it.They can only continue TO REPAIR,and give store credit.So, basically you are stuck with them.Wouldnt recommend anyone to purchase anything from them.

Gamers Paradise is actually harboring one of the only Nether Portals in existence today. You have to be incredibly patient and your speech must be over lv 85 to be granted permission to view it. They keep it tucked away in the back, but if you have a diamond pickaxes, they may also deem you worthy of viewing it. Just be weary because zombie pigmen sometimes find their way through the portal into our realm and Id hate to be shopping for games when one makes it out, although staff handles the situation quite quickly and subtlety that you may not even notice. Anyways, great place for games new and old, and also they hooked me up with a Nintendo wii u charger so thanks for that! -tips fedora-

I love this store!! The owner Jason has always been excellent. He talked to my little sister about what games she wanted for about 20 minutes and really made her feel wanted. I came in to buy an n64 and several rare games and he was able to order them for me. My sister and I will definitely be back!!!!!!!!

Been looking for a guitar for guitar hero... Have tried every store under the sun... no one Has them EXCEPT these guys! Not only did I get one WITH the sensor, but they put a warranty on it!!! Now thats saying something. I bought my guitar yesterday along with two games at a decent price. Even though the guitar wont strum DOWNWARD I am satisfied with the service and Im taking it back today. The service was great so I am confident that theyll take care of it! If you dont hear from me again.. youll know... IT WAS ALL GOOD :-)

Customer Service is Excellent. Great finds. Never know what you will find. The employees go above and beyond to help you. They will even look up and let you watch game play before you buy the game. They never pressure you to buy anything. WILL DEFINITELY BE GOING BACK!!!

Prices are okay. The attitude of the employees suck. They arent very friendly and not helpful at all. They wont give refunds for brand-new unopened items. They will only issue store credit no matter what.

Just recently got a PS3 and was interested in playing all the exclusive games that I hadnt been able to play before. Im glad I went to Gamers Paradise first. I got all three uncharted games for around $15, not to mention all the other great deals I got. Plus they have tons of retro games at what I think are great prices. And on top of that they have great customer service. This is my go to game store now.

Was looking for a Wii guitar for guitar hero and was VERY surprised they had two in stock since no one places the Wii anymore and Guitar Hero is an older game.

This place is amazing. I went for the first time and dropped 110 dollars. Prices are amazing selection is god-tier. If you are going to buy console games there is no better place in Huntsville hands down.

Absolutely recommended for fans of old school and budget games.The store is carefully laid out, well organized and joyously nostalgic; the walls are covered in paraphernalia and videos of gameplay from a bygone era while chiptunes gently beep along in the background. If you dont buy anything from the curated and bountiful selection, youll at least stick around for a round of Puzzle Bobble and a chat with Jason about gaming days of yore.

I sold my Nintendo here and the clerk acted like a little child with his remarks. Also, what they gave me for the Nintendo was pennies compared to Gamerz World.

I got my PS4 repair I think 125 is what it cost my Bluetooth antenna still messed up. I asked the guy end of last yr how much to have it fixed he said 15 dollars so when I got a chance I would bring it up well is been less than a yr and now they won’t fix it because they don’t do that.. ya NOW so I suggest going somewhere else where they don’t use old parts to fix ur systems. I do say old parts cause part of my system still don’t work so I highly suggest going somewhere else
