Well, I dont leave my place of residence at all due to personal health reasons. BUT, I was accompanied by a trusted new friend to see how I reacted to being able to shop for myself. We went late, an hour before closing and there wasnt but a few others in the store. I was nervous to start but I pushed my cart further and further and was actually getting happier. While trying to respect the closing hour I tried to hurry up but didnt understand about how the actual cost vs. the sale price so I asked the store manager to help me understand and felt maybe she was irritated with me. She said there was an app I could download but I was running out of time so..she quickly explained it & off I went & found a few things & returned to her counter. Now, she was much nicer & patient with me & I was so relieved & grateful. I experienced a little anxiety but no panic attack. It might not seem like a big deal to her but to me, it was a success for me. Still want to thank the night shift manager Tuesday night for your help. I appreciated you more than you realized. Hopefully Ill be back next month!! ❤️

Store has went down hill, you used to be able to find pretty good deals here. Now they mark everything up past retail only to discount it to make it seem like youre getting a deal. Ive seen numerous tags that were higher than retail and by the time the discount is counted you couldve bought it brand new with a warranty. This was also a good place to buy clothes, but now they arent discounted much at all for used or returned. Overpriced. Most clothes priced brand new pricing that does not look brand new.

The dirt cheap staff are amazing. I frequently shop at dirt cheap weekly. They go above and beyond to assist customers. I have been to several other locations in other states and cities in Alabama by far this store is the best. Thank you to the staff and management!

Rarely impressed by anything. Store always feels extremely messy, Im fine with a bit of mess, it can be difficult to stay organized when theres customers and lots of items but its often a bit too much for me here. This place used to be a lot better.

Dirt Cheap is a hit or miss kind of store, it has some items that are new and others that appear to be used, all sales are final and the pricing can be a little odd but I finally had a good find there so it’s worth checking through the stuff here occasionally.

I wish I had known about this place sooner. My first visit, I found two items I had been meaning to buy. I saved around $200 and the items were in good condition. Dont buy caulking or sealants because the inside of the tubes were dried and useless both times. Employees were friendly.

This place is legit! Huge selection of items from toys and candy to hair products and furniture. There are some good deals to be found. I didn’t think everything was amazingly priced. But the huge selection was more than impressive and we got some awesome deals.

We didnt spend too long, but the vast majority of things are just plain broken.

Since they changed workers or management these people treat me with no respect I’m always smiling with a happy face which you should get back in Return for being such a frequent shopper but no never no appreciation.

I found something I wanted there. It was an open box product and it was missing the power cord. I have something that the cord might have worked with. Now heres the problem all sales are final and he didnt have the cord so it couldnt be checked to see if it worked. I asked him what good is it like it was he answered its not sorry. I didnt feel like giving them 20.00 for nothing. So beware what you buy. Once you walk out the door its yours works or not.

They make prices seem like a deal, but what they really do is way overprice, then offer discount. A 10 oz can of tomato soup, priced at $2.35, but 60% off. Just go to Big Lots, Dollar General, Dollar Tree, or Ollies. At least the prices arent misleading.

This place was okay it had a lot of open stuff that shouldnt be open and things were scattered everywhere but they have something for everybody I guess if youre looking for Thrift Store clothes and junk that you would bye I guess if you needed it light rugs and comforters those are brand-new but everythings a little bit too high but the atmosphere was great

Not really a fan. Most of the aisles were blocked off with signs saying not for sale until Thursday. Everything was crazy disorganized. I waited 15 minutes for assistance at the dressing room and no one ever showed up. There was one guy working who was super nice and helpful. Legit the only reason Im giving this 2 stars is because of him.

Some really good deals here. You have to beware of what youre buying though cause a lot of their stuff is discounted for a reason. Most of the things there are damaged and some are even completely broken.

I actually really like the Dirt Cheap in Madison, Alabama. Its usually well stocked and the sales are good most of the time.

Dont look like much good stuff from afar, but you can find some really good stuff for a really cheap price if you dig for it.

Know your pricing BEFORE you go. Found the exact comforter that I bought just a couple weeks ago. I bought it at Target (brand new) for cheaper than it wouldve been at DC...even with 40% off.

Not dirt cheap AT ALL. False advertising. And the place is a mess and overwhelming. I rather shop somewhere else since I am not getting a deal here anyway.

On this particular day I found gymnastic leotards for my daughter and they were 60 cents. What a great experience for me..The store reminds me of a yard sale inside. You never know what you might find.

You can find good things sometimes but its hit and miss. Some of the products have been opened and stuff missing out of them but you can go in sometimes and find what you need and everything is fine.

Surprisingly pleasant. Its basically a big rummage sale. Make sure you have some time to dig and look because there is so much it can get overwhelming. I gave 4 stars because there are tubs of stuff with open paint jars mixed in that just made a mess. It got all over our hands and clothes. Other than that its a neat place to go digging for treasures.

Such a mess. I do not feel as if customers are really welcome here. If you huff and puff to move when a customer comes down an isle, then you might want to reconsider your stocking hours!

Dirt Cheap is a fishing expedition, you never know if you are going to find anything or not. You may go one day and hit the jackpot on finding the finds of the day. Then you could go the next time and not find a thing. Its good to find out when they are going to be releasing their items like the day they do bedding if you are looking for it, toys, household and so on. They have an app now I think and it might tell you when what is happening at your location.

You can find all kinds deals. Was a fun experience.

They have ANY and EVERYTHING you could EVER imagine in this store! And you dont have to worry about putting something back if you decide you dont want it or dont have the money for it! Because some of the things are way too expensive and some things literally are Dirt Cheap!! But, dont go in there to actually browse around because they meaning their managers or some of their employees will act like complete idiots!!! They will follow you around, (making it WELL KNOWN to you & other customers) it is ABSOLUTELY & Completely ridiculous & embarrassing! Extremely rude. Never been treated like that from a store in my life. Manager was one of the main people to be so rude. Act like they dont want to even take your money. Would have spent over $100 there if they actually acted like they wanted to help. Sorry thats over half your job. Then as we tell the manager we did not appreciate her deminer she talks to a fellow employee about how ridiculous we were. All I wanted out of the desk was some headphones. Sorry that was too much to ask I guess. Would love to get in contact with the owner.

Fun, random store. You just never know what you might find, and pricing can vary between good deals and gouging :) - plus often furniture pieces can be broke. Just do your homework first, test and approve each item before purchasing (as I dont believe returns are accepted). Overall, fun to visit and shop.

What you see is what you get. Be careful and inspect the packaging before purchasing. I purchased something that appeared to be new in the package, but was previously opened/returned and sold to Dirt Cheap. The item didnt work, and they dont accept any refunds.

I go here when I visit my brother. I live in SC so we do not have one of these, we have Goodwills though, but it is not the same. Some items are not worth the money so I would advise inspecting them well before leaving. I got two full auto Nerf guns for more than 50% off, which is amazing, but only one worked out of the box and the other needed a mod. I will return again.

Found a King size comforter for 60% off. @check out it scanned for 28$ It was an 8 piece set too...feels so good I think Im sleeping better because of it...White and pail blue.... If your Looking for aforable Bedding and good quality try Dirt Cheap!

Great place to visit if you love serious bargains and dont mind hunting. Most items are marked with great prices, but some are the same (or more!) than store prices. As long as you know the typical price of an item (or have a smartphone handy), you can easily identify the best deals.Always lots of Target dollar section and holiday items. Customer service is pretty lacking and wait times are long. But.. I dont think most people are visiting Dirt Cheap for the superb service experience.

To be a dirt cheap shopper you have to be able to take the time to rummage through bins to look for a bargain. This store is a bargain outlet and things items changing all the time. There are no returns so you have to make sure the product works. That said you can get some really really great bargains at Dirt Cheap!
