Looking for a coffee spot before 9:00am and the Odana Rd location popped up! Delight experience! Service impeccable, atmosphere bright and inviting, and the coffee was perfect. Will definitely be stopping at either location from now on when I am in town. AND I am sharing this will all my friends☺️☕️

Fantastic little coffee shop. Its definitely worth stopping into and trying. The coffee shop is one of the coziest places Ive been, and the barista was super nice too! The best thing about this place, however, is their coffee. I dont know where they get their roasts from, but I am thoroughly impressed with their French Roast. if you like a well balanced coffee with plenty of flavor and a clean finish, I would recommend trying the French Roast out.

This is the perfect coffee shop! The ambiance is great and I had an amazing cup of tea and muffin. The coffee is also good, even to someone that doesn’t normally like it

Steep N Brew is an amazing Coffee shop. I am not one to drink coffee very much but the way they make their Latte I have become very fond of this little find. The Scones are to die for. The owner is such a super friendly man, he makes coming in very enjoyable. I give Steep N Brew 10 stars for sure.

Steep n Brew became my “comfort” coffee shop during my time in Madison! I highly recommend the Chai latte, Miel, and any of their teas. The owner is incredibly sweet and constantly checking in on “dine-in” customers to make sure everything is perfect.

Nice cozy local coffee shop. Had some light blues playing while we were there. Coffee selection is great and they also sell beans. The prices are better than the chain stores for what you get too.

If you want real coffee, this is the place. Service was amazing and he was knowledgeable about coffee when deciding what coffee to buy for drip and cold brew. He was also very nice and attentive to all customers coming in. Support your local business!

I stopped in here today and ordered a Tea. I don’t usually go to coffee places but today I wanted to. The woman working was super helpful on what to order. She has a very inviting voice and was really nice. If ever I want more tea or coffee this will be my go to place.

I needed coffee in the morning before work. Starbucks is right around the corner, but had a long line. Steep n Brew is locally owned and the best service. They were super friendly and fast. My dark chocolate mocha was exactly what I needed to start the day. Support local businesses and we all win.

I got a an acceptable cup of coffee. I dont know that their definition of light roast matches up with mine (or maybe the beans were old), but those things are always subjective. The barista was nice enough. What they call pour over on their menu pour over is also a little misleading - its an American style pour over where theyre streaming hot water onto a filter full of grounds. Its not the slower Japanese style of pour over where you get much better flavor.They also had two customers inside without masks, despite prominently displayed signs requiring masks, which is a little off-putting. Had I noticed that before ordering Id have left. I know thats a pain for staff to manage but managing it beats getting shut down again because the Pandemic is getting worse.

Fun stop on my weekly bike ride with my daughter. We dont arrive until almost closing so I dont have much experience with the food. The iced coffee is yummy and my kiddo loves the frozen lemonade.

Best coffee, whether fresh brewed, iced, signature. The staff is welcoming and experts at their trade. The owner is extremely polite, and you can tell he takes pride in the shop and what he does. My only complaint would be that they dont have many breakfast options, only some patries/donuts and quiche, though they are very high quality, I would prefer an egg sandwich sometimes. Highly recommended, I cant believe a Starbucks stayed in business with this nearby.

I wish beverage descriptions were on the online menu (I was intrigued by the Frosty Cap, but didnt know what it was. Digging around Google it sounded like an Iced Cappuccino. I asked my husband to pick me up a Caramel Frosty Cap since he was stopping by at Steep and Brew, and it was delicious!)I have had other cozy experiences on-location (pre-COVID, of course), glad this is in West Madison.

The customer service is amazing. Very cozy place to hang out and have coffee. Great place to study. The owner is the kindest man. His employees are fast and very nice.I dont really care for steep and brew coffee flavors, or pastries. They make good specialty drinks, and black coffee.

This shopping center doesnt exactly have the best ambience, but for being tucked in here, Steep N Brew West does a good job being cozy. Manager was friendly ... person who cashed me out a little less so, but the manager jumped in to make sure the drink was being made right. He was very attentive. A little pricy but worth it - my drink was huge, delicious and in a beautiful mug! Wish theyd add some comfort furniture like couches or plushy chairs for those of us camping out to work - but lots of nice natural light, coffee tastes good, and wi-fi works fine (but be aware it is an open/unsecured network).

This place is a hidden gem off of Odana Road. An adorable hidden little coffee shop with almond cake and quiche out of this world! So good! Highly recommend!

I appreciated how knowledgeable the staff member was with helping me make a selection on a type of tea. There was a very large selection to pick from and I didnt know where to start. I really enjoyed the mixture of the peach green with the ginger tea, Id highly recommend it, it was delicious.

I cant believe Ive missed this gem. Ive lived on the west side for 4 years, been to the movie theater, pegasus games, the arcade, etc over here and have failed to see this.The drink offerings here are staggering. Italian sodas, French sodas, and now affogato! I highly recommend you give this one a try!

Id driven by dozens of times, but never stopped in until recently. Awesome place! They have some fun drink specials, but their black coffee is also delicious. Free WiFi, a good amount of seating, and great staff. Its become my new non-work office.

Began sit in dining on 5/12/20 in violation of public health orders, which did not allow dining until 5/26. Was not offering any curbside pickup throughout Covid lockdown. Owner was not wearing a mask and was repeatedly standing right next to employee in violation of public health orders.

The new Steep & Brew is great. All the renovations have really opened the place up. The Baristas are always friendly and knowledgeable. With the additional seating added, its a great place to come in and get some work done without a lot of back ground noise.

I have always gotten the chai tea latte here. Its a cozy atmosphere to sit and talk with friends with shopping nearby. The owner is always friendly and runs a good clean business. I will always enjoy stopping in for a nice warm cup of goodness.

I have been coming to Steep and Brew West for over 10 years. I love the coffee, the employees and the fact that there are 3 daily newspapers to read. My day is always better when I start it at Steep and Brew!

Steep and Brew has been a favorite since High School and still feels like home. Visited today to enjoy a cup, 5 yrs today that I have known about this place. Still a wonderful place to sit and relax for the day, especially with a warm beverage. My favorite Chai w/milk to sit by the window and enjoy.

I hate to ruin a good rating average by posting a one star. Im really sorry. Tonight 11.24.18 the young lady working caused this. They closed at 7:00 tonight and we arrived around 6:10-6:15. I asked, do you do the drinks with the leafs designs in the cream? She said yes its a cappuccino. I said cool I will have one of those. What size she says. Small I replied. She makes the drink and puts it on the counter and it had no design on it. Just foam. And it was in a To go cup instead of a regular coffee cup. I then asked if they had any pastries to which she said she had already put them all away. She was acting like we were really bothering her by being there. The rest of the group that was with me were starting to mumble and so I was just ready to pay and go. She said her Amex machine was broken (which I find hilarious since the 24th was small business Saturday promoted by Amex!). The group of six of us left because they saw my experience and said they would rather just go to Starbucks instead. We did. My cap tasted burnt so I tossed it and we enjoyed ourselves at the Starbucks around the corner. Sorry. This was just my experience.

I am leaving one star because I am not able to leave zero stars. I went in for a coffee and got a triple shot coconut latte and as the first shot for my coffee was pouring the barista walked away from the espresso machine walking around and allowed the espresso to burn. My coffee was extremely bitter and soured my stomach within one sip. The shop was empty so I don’t understand being preoccupied when a customer has purchased a beverage and that is your one job. Also the employee was not wearing any shoes while working which is not what you want serving you food or beverages.

I stopped by to get a large latte with an extra shot and a cup of cold milk for my daughter. Im not sure how, but it ended up being $10, and the guy behind the counter wouldnt come down. As much as I like supporting smaller businesses and coffee shops, I will never go to Steep and Brew again.

There is good pricing on a variety of tea, coffee, and ice cream, with a very kind, somewhat enthusiastic owner. They also sell bulk tea and accessories. If you like coffee and ice cream, try a caffeinated cow.

A wonderful place for community and good coffee. The group that comes in the mornings is tight-knit and friendly. The owner and staff are kind. The Sumatran Mandheling roast that they have makes the most well-balanced cup of coffee.
