I just want to thank Michael for his outstanding customer service! He helped me figure out what my best option was for a futon (turns out it was the last one in the store) and was super positive about fitting it into my car and he helped load it up! Everyone in the store was very helpful as well but I just wanted to shout out to Michael. Thank you!

Messy unkept store with very little help from the staff. Im willing to accept the fact that they are short staffed due to the pandemic and all. However, the employees that are working are extremely rude and dont seem to know anything about the store they work at.

I have been going to this Walmart since I moved to the area. Every weekend and even weekdays the shelves are empty. I don’t even see any associates to help if I needed something. Some of the cashiers I came across are nice some don’t seem to care.Incident #1 I bought a large trash can and just asked the cashier what’s the price because the shelves never have the accurate price. She told me that she doesn’t know and can’t tell. Ok wow. Thanks!Incident #2 went to return an item I bought at Walmart and the lady processing my return said the item wasn’t found? How come when I got it at their store. She then said I got it at another Walmart? Ok well if I got it at a Walmart anywhere in the USA then you can take it at this location too. Then she told me they don’t sell this item at their store. This made me laugh because I got the item at this location 3 weeks ago and the item is in the nail care section. She didn’t bother to check or anything. I walked away and ignored her.I just feel most of the associates don’t know where the items are or if their stores sell such items. I get it there are tons of items in the store but you should be able to look at the item in the store shelves etc. Of course, looking for things takes effort and the associates don’t want to put in the effort.I also don’t feel safe driving to this location because lots of the drivers are aggressive and don’t know when it’s their turn to go or not. They speed through the parking lot. Many are just eager to get out and honk for no reason. Not sure where they want to go but I don’t see what’s the reason for being restless.Glad am moving to another state and a bigger city with more options to shop at Walmart. I will limit going to this location moving forward and better to order stuff online.Please improve your services and try to stock shelves. The pandemic has been going on since 1 and half years now and most things are back to their normalcy. It either could be they don’t stock their shelves at night as no staff comes to work or they don’t know what their stores customer traffic is like!

I tried to return an item that was cheap and ripped (terrible quality Walmart brand item).The clerk said I returned the item already. That is not possible because I was in possession of the item. I think I gave her the wrong receipt, but she should have been able to look up the transaction a different way. Another time an Indian woman working there made a comment to me as I was checking out. I was almost hit a year ago coming out of their driveway by the stop lights. My recent experiences with this Walmart make me want to stop shopping at Walmart altogether. Now I am out $20 on these two items I bought and was also ripped off (overcharged when other retailers were selling for cheaper) on medical masks from them at the beginning of the pandemic.

The people that, clean up the lot are doing wonders, looks really good and store is well kept friendly staff great parking

This review is purely about the optometry department.Five starts isnt enough. I went hear due to type 2 diabetes eye issues. This was my first ever eye exam. At the moment, I am convinced the optometrist here understands type 2 diabetes better than my PCP at UW Health. Needless to say, I would rate his knowledge as extremely high. Beyond that, everyone was friendly, helpful, polite and happy to answer any questions. As it was my first exam, there were plenty. Other than needing glasses for the first time in my life, nothing could have gone better. As such, I stick to the statement that 5 stars isnt enough.

Walmart has the biggest and best selection of greeting cards I have ever seen. I found more 50th Birthday cards to choose from than any other store. Surprising how hard those are to find.

I Frequent this walmart a lot because it is the closest one to my house. This walmart seems to be pretty picked over most of the time with lots of items out of stock. Atleast things are pretty well organized and usually in the rite spots and aisles. I went here earlier this week to get a money order for rent and the money order machine was broken unfortunately. One up side of walmart is the prices are so good compared to target . . .Etc.

This is the worst walmart I have ever been. It is disorganized. Grocery section is very small. Long lines at the checkout. I left my cart of stuff. It was that bad.

Originally there was a Sams Club directly across from them possibly limiting common items they kept stocked.Would recommend only going here for pickup of online orders, or other quick average household needs.Otherwise just go to Woodmans down the road for grocercies or other household items

This place is the definition of a food swamp. The only Walmart Ive been to without any fresh produce. Not only were we unable to get half of the things on our list, but we ended up leaving with several sugary snacks we definitely did not need, but were prominently displayed.

Memory is long. I remember with Walmart killed off local mom-and-pop grocers and hardware stores. They promised to hire workers to help the community. Well, it was half true. This is one Walmart that still has actual cashiers...thank you. The one in Sun Prairie has 10 cashier lanes with no cashiers. Customers have to self check out. I really like the selection of items and am basically grateful they are still hiring local people for decent jobs.

Best place to buy quality and updated electronics for the price. The service is above average. No place is perfect. But Best Buy will have techs their to answer your questions to get most of the right answers .Compared to other tech stores ! Ask for a Manager in the area of topic you need to discuss !They also have the Geek Squad to help on computer repair ! Sell phones at Best Buy to ! Also music supplies !

I needed to buy a new hard drive. But before I went to this store, I checked their inventory online. It was spot on! Also the folk who worked in electronics were very helpful.

This is a limited grocery Walmart. They had what we needed, but not best for a full grocery shopping trip. Moderately crowded at midday. In and out in about 15 minutes. Check out was efficient.

Ive tried ordering fried chicken after work three different times in three weeks.Each time they couldnt accommodate me. first-time I ordering to late, I asked what time do you close the kitchen. We close the kitchen at 7 pm, but its 5:45 pm. Then I was told, well it depends on how busy we areSo now I just go to Pick&Save or Kwick Trip.

It was not crowded and there were masks and hand sanitizer available when I walked in. I found everything I wanted and the associates were filling the shelves and checking the meat for expiration dates. The line was not long and the check out clerk was very friendly! This is my favorite store to grocery shop and buy everything else I want!

Lazy customer service counter that made me run all around Madison when they could have try just a tiny bit harder and completed my return. Instead, I had to run BACK to the original store only to have them call the West side Store to tell them this was unacceptable. I should have been able to return there; Waste of gas and time. Plenty of parking. I was looking for plastic storage bins with tight fitting tops. They had a couple, but the lids did not match. Found them at Target.

Dont accept Apple pay! The Waltons (Owners) Corporate office is in Arkansas. This speaks volumes when big companies like this go to states where the state itself invests very little in the quality of life markers such as quality public education, the health of its citizens. The uninformed rank and file voters vote against their interest. For example, if everyone didnt feel as if they were part of a different tribe or took their Christian faith seriously, and asked what would Jesus Christ do. Love would win the day! The people would only vote in elected officials who put the people first no matter race, sex, religion, or nationality but big money divide the people, and as history proves, we all lose when we teach our children hate!

Staff at this Walmart are super friendly, kind, respectful and helpful. Prices are great, parking was easy. No complaints. I know that Walmart gets a bad review, sometimes, but I think people just need to rank each experience on its own merits. I found the Westside Madison Walmart to be a fun, enjoyable place to shop.

Just past the blue Customer Service area, on the right side, theyve got an orange room with a contactless pick up kiosk. This store has it dialed-in.Install the Walmart app, temporarily, to check yourself in, prior to arriving. After arriving and entering my name into the orange rooms kiosk, my order was brought out within a couple mins.Their Madison-West store doesnt offer curbside pick up, however. Youll have to use the East store for that.

Reminds me of what Walmarts were like when I was a kid. This one is stuck in time -- in a good way. The staff are super friendly and dont hesitate to go out of their way to help you.

Verified store hours online before making special trip to do uneven exchange. Needed to use Service Desk for this transaction. Got to store @9:05pm to find Service Desk lights off, no staff. Was told Service Desk has shortened hours (7am to 9pm), not the same as store hours (6am -11pm). What a pain. Couldnt do uneven exchange at checkouts. If thats the operational move Walmart has now designated, it needs to make accommodations if you need to handle a transaction outside of new Service Desk hours. Revised hours should be posted everywhere (ie: online, on front door signage, etc...). Never occurred to me they wouldnt have matching hours same as full hours of operation for store. If Walmarts goal is to be all things to all people, tighten up this huge void. Poor Customer Service.

God awful security for high-end transactions. Had a credit card stolen and thieves then used it immediately at this location for a single transaction in excess of $1,000 of high dollar electronics. The employee and/or system did not ask for any additional verification to confirm the cardholder identity (i.e. photo ID, zip code, etc.).These are incredibly fast and easy ways to flag fraudulent charges, and yet it did not occur. Walmart at this location and all others has fully lost my business.

When we walked into this Walmart we got watched like a hawk by the person checking people in. When trying to find the things we need we were being followed like a hawk. Made us feel very uncomfortable and we also felt disrespected. When we were on our way to the bathroom we were still being watched. Then the bathrooms were dirty and discussing. Toilet paper all over the floor and no soap in the dispensers. After using the bathroom we went and finished our shopping and then we were still followed like we did something wrong. Never have I ever felt so uncomfortable in a place where I shop before. These picture that I am also posting you can see how nasty this place looks.

I can always find what I need here. The store is usually mostly clean. The shelves are always stocked. This store is always busy. I do think the center aisle between food and beauty is too crowded and I always have to wait for people to walk through. I don’t like shopping here after dark though.

I bought a lavender plant. The roots where overgrown and a lot of the other plants where in bad shape but they had a big variety of plants.

Came here to pick up an order. Waiting 20 minutes after scanning in, nobody came to help. None of the ~10 employees I made eye contact with bothered to ask if I needed help. Not so convenient.
