I was going to buy a piece of furniture. I grabbed the bottom part of the ticket with the barcode, Your supposed to take the bottom part to show that someone is already buying it. I went to check out and I paid for it. And when I went to pick it up someone else had already bought it and picked up, when I had the already bought it!! I don’t understand why they make you take the bottom ticket if they’re just going to sell it to someone else!! Apart from that, they have terrible cashier service!!! This is the second time that this has happened to me. I hope that with this review, The cashiers will take most precautions of what is already bought. It’s a waste of time.

Lots of goodies to choose from. You want name brand and high end clothes this is the place to go. Prices were pretty high but still reasonable I guess.

A great time treasure hunting as usual. Found some Victorias Secret bombshell bras, Victorias Secret tankini swimsuits, a Marc Jacobs bag in mint condition, a pair of Keen leather boots, a pair of Horze jodhpurs, a pair of new with tags Volatile sandals and a pair of Liverpool jeans. All for under $50. I cant find a reason to not be happy about that.

I tend to want to give thrift stores some leeway and benefit of the doubt. I understand what they are, and why they are there. This particular one, however may be among the worst-run shops Ive been to in the Madison area. I realize this is an older location, but it is dark, dingy and the stock is literally just piled up, much with no rhyme or reason to the groupings. Staff was indifferent, and as Goodwill tends to do the pricing is all over the place. Some actually higher than retail, others just inconsistent. Depends who had the price-tag gun today I guess. There are a lot of great thrift shops in Madison. Unfortunately this is not one of them.

Good place to pick up some deals. I bought jeans that looked new for $5.49.

Although I have found some nice things at this location, the figures + candles + glassware section is a nightmare. So so so many items are broken and buried. I was heartbroken by the conditions of this location. In addition to this, the young woman who helped me at checkout couldnt care less about helping me. She was more focused on being in her flow than addressing me. She had a major attitude problem. She forgot to wrap a candle I purchased after I asked her to (resulting in damage) and put it in the bag with my glassware (without having wrapped ANYTHING). I asked her to please wrap the items. She was real hesitant and tried arguing with me, under her breath. I couldnt believe it. Their store looks like the inside of a hoarders home. This is a business, not a hoarders garage/house. This is by far the worst Goodwill store Ive ever visited. They seriously need to improve their customer service and their atmosphere. Wow.

Some prices seem to have increased I the last couple months on somethings. For a Goodwill store. All glassware seem to be $.99 @Kids games puzzle are great at 2.99 @ .. Butt I enjoy this store. Always friendly.

Awful!!!! There us some good things but my mom took her wallet and she had her keys in her wallet then ahe put her purse wallet thing on the counter then my moms keys were gone! Do NOT SHOP AT THIS GOODWILL WE TRIED LOOKING FOR THEM AND WE COULDNT FIND THEM THEN IT WAS POURING OUT DO NOT SHOP HERE UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR KEYS TAKEN!

I have to say they did well, in terms of arranging the store to make it easier to social distance, even though some shoppers didnt seem to care and would come too close. Surprisingly, theses people didnt have masks on (sarcasm). But most of the other shoppers did have masks.I wish there would have been more of a book selection. They only had three bookshelves. That was the only reason I went to the store. Normally they have more shelves of books, but I understood why there were only three at this time. Overall, I was satisfied by the steps the store took to help people feel safe.

Staff are friendly and often smiling and laughing with one another. It makes shopping pleasant. :)

Some parts of the store are very sloppy and disorganized. Only been in here twice and both times it was very crowded and messy.

Prices are still high on home goods. Higher set prices ($7.99-9.99)on clothing name brands like Talbots, American Eagle, Lands End, Ann Taylor, Nike, Express, etc. Some good finds here and there.Really too much stuff on the shelves that dont lend to browsing and easily finding stuff. Need to either go cheaper to move stuff or be more specific on putting out quality items. Its a mess.3 years ago review-Prices are hit or miss. There has been a noticeable price increase on items, but there are still treasures to be found, you just have to look for them. Good selection of books for all ages. Every Sunday and Monday there are half-off sales on items with certain colored attachment tags. Accessible, efficient, and indoor drive-thru donation drop-off.

Excellent Goodwill location! Ive been in here a few times and its well organized. The staff is helpful and will help you move large items. They have a pull in garage on the side. The only downside the filthy disgusting restrooms. But overall a highly pleasant shopping experience!

Typical Goodwill store, but a little on the small side making it difficult to shop in peace. While shopping it continuously felt like someone was hovering over me because of such tight quarters. Fitting room hooks were tiny and not customer friendly when wanting to hang and inspect your prospective purchases.

I am a former employee, when I walk in the store I feel as if I am being watched as if I were on the FBI most wanted list. Managers keep passing by and I feel just unconformable being there. Dont know what I did to be treated like this but I guess that if thats the way they want to treat a customer who id willing to give then money for items they got for free then so be it. For this reason I will never go back.

Nice size store. Clean and well stocked. Items were priced high. Most customers I noticed only bought one or 2 items. Not a place to blow your wad if you were setting up house for example.

This is the worst, most rip ya off every time they can, Goodwill. Im done with this one, they will raise the price Everytime, because they can. If you find stuff without a tag, theyll give you the highest price possible, when literally everything exactly like it is a dollar or two less, horrible management.

This is my favorite 2nd hand store. Lots of selection, great prices, and a constantly changing inventory. The staff are helpful, and its a well maintained and welcoming place.

Prices here vary from the east side store. I have seen both good, and completely stupid prices in this store.Like the store on the east side, it is a very high traffic location. It is also commonly a mess. Its not as well cared for as other stores. This place is also strange, the prices on their furniture is very high compared to other locations. This is actually the only goodwill I have ever been in, that prices furniture so high.They get a lot of electronics though here, and I have even scored vintage HiFi gear here before at amazing prices.Clothing is alright here. Not well organized, and they tend to put shabby clothing on the racks.Still not a bad place, 100% worth going in to see if they have what youre looking for at the time.

Like most Goodwills, this place is great if you’re willing to trust your low-cost impulses, but less so when searching for a specific item.At this location specifically, the store and drop-off staff have displayed the utmost kindness.

This is a smaller Goodwill compared to some that I have been to. However, they do have a good selection of clothes and was able to find some name-brand clothing here. The costomer service was awesome but I was hoping for a bigger selection.

This place has become a dump, sadly. Sloppy decor, dirty floors, checked-out salespeople. Ive started shopping more at Vinnies just because I feel like their employees care and pay closer attention to the environment.

Selection of mens clothes is lacking but they are in pretty good shape. Sometimes you can find some cool vintage electronics and the furniture is usually better than others.

Im in here about once a week, and I really like this store for its variety and consistently cheap product. Theres tons of things to find, and I could spend hours in this store. The only problem is that, because of the absolutely horrid customer service, I dont want to. Every single time I go in here looking for something specific, I always end up asking at least one sales associate for help. The staff is lazy, and not trained properly in customer service. No one knows where anything is, and no one is willing to help me find it. Yesterday, I found a shirt that I liked that was labeled $3 too expensive. I asked a sales associate: Is this the right price? She said, No, and just walked away without offering to change the price. Things like this happen every time I go to the Verona Goodwill, to the point where I dread having to ask for help at all!

Smaller store with a slightly less than impressive selection of clothing. Selection of baby clothes was half a rack, and children clothing was not much better. Selection size reflects the size of the store. Store was clean, and staff seemed friendly.

Employees were friendly and answered our questions. Store looked organized. Enjoyed our visit.

Disappointing; all housegoods were crammed onto shelving. Things were broken and dirty. And then they wanted too much $$$ for it! St. Vincent DePaul does it all better!

Shopping experience is what you might expect at a second hand store - very low prices, but the racks are consistently picked through. Convenient place to make donations with a drive-thru.

Pretty much furnished first apartment with this place, still go to it a lot. Reasonably priced things, and inventory is quickly refreshed.

The manager is incredibly rude and condescending. The cashiers were also mean. They wouldnt let me return a piece of furniture that wouldnt fit in the car. I love goodwill but will never go to this one again.

Everyone deserves to be warm, however low their income. That is Goodwill.

Found nice things, kitchen and clothing

Probably the worst Goodwill I have been in, and I am an ex-Goodwill employee from another state. The store is generally in disarray. Everything is overpriced (employees price everything with no guidelines in Goodwill stores in general). Shelves are left empty meanwhile the back area is completely full. The parking lot/donation center is an accident waiting to happen.

They have got gready, knowing that goodwill is a full profit company, that get donations from average people. the recently allow managers to price marchendise. the prices got reduculiosly high.

This location feels a little grubby, but I always find a treasure or two when shopping at this Goodwill.
