John does outstanding work, always checks the car over before he works on it which is great incase something else needs repair while its there.

J&J handles all repairs for my 2012 BMW 740il. The cost is about 1/2 of the dealer cost and the quality is top notch. J&J has done work on BMWs and SAABs weve owned over 10-15 years - excellent.

John and John (Thus the J&J in the name) maintained my old 2002 E320 for more than 6 years. They always did a fantastic job and I never, not once, had to bring the car back because it wasnt done right the first time. What I really liked about the Johns was that they knew I just wanted to keep the car going (milk it along as my father used to say), not make it the best old car on the Shoreline. With that in mind, they only recommended work that would keep me moving in the right direction without endangering myself and others. Sadly, I junked the car this past year (John bought it from me) and am now driving a 2016 E350. You can bet your life Ill be bringing this new car to J&J for years to come.

They do great work and tell you what you need to do right away and what you can wait to do. Great for old German built Automobiles. Ex: 1999 ML 320

For what its worth, my experience with this business has been quite the opposite of the 1 star review posted a couple of years ago. They have actively advised against repairs that I requested saying the service was not needed or cost effective. My request could have easily been accommodated if they wished to jack up my bill. They also provided less costly repair options to consider on several occasions. They provided service on my BMW X3 and my husbands Audi A8.

The best ever, trustworthy and honest

I have been privileged to be surrounded by caring legal, ethical, religious, and scholarly thinkers all my life. I believe in the importance of heartfelt sharing in community life and the importance of honesty, so I am appalled by the manipulation of an opportunity to undermine a business as a technique for competition. It is low and deserves our shunning. And it is obvious in several under-identified writers found above. J&J is a five star business in every sense: excellent mechanics, modest pricing, knowledgeable, helpful, kind, reliable and friendly. These guys are really great! They service both of my cars and I have recently purchased a vehicle from them. Very honest and trustworthy.

Without question, the worst few months of auto repair experience of my life. These petty crooks will stop at nothing to jack the price of the most minor repairs, withhold crucial information, and treat customers with arms length contempt and condescension. For a few months I brought them my diesel Mercedes for both basic maintenance and more complex repairs; in each case, I left the place twisted in a knot. On at least on occasion, they obviously and and shamelessly inflated the magnitude of the problem, and when I expressed some minor curiosity, massively inflated the cost of repairs. I left at that point.What a terrible experience. How a place like this stays long in business, Ill never be able to figure out.

Outstanding mechanics, very good pricing, fast service...highly recommend for anyone with a euro car

Put wrong parts on my BMW brake job (had to be fixed at another shop), quoted me thousands after claiming to have looked at the car, then admitted they never even looked at it after I brought it to another shop. I had trusted these guys but now I know they just prey on unsuspecting Madison European car owners.

They have always been fair and super service for my family car. Highly recommend J and J.
