Our late morning stop at Homestead Bakery was beyond a pleasant experience and wont be our last. Theyre a local bakery and coffee shop that is well worth trying over the fimilar options in the area. We had their bagel breakfast sandwiches which had a several unique bagel styles, along with the classics to choose from; we paired that with a cherry turnover, bear claw, and coffee. It didnt disappoint and exceeded our expectations.

I loved the cream cheese danish, but the prices are a bit steep! The coffee pictured below is not even the size of a $5 coffee from Starbucks and my sister mentioned it tasted burnt. The Summer Daze drink was just a bit overly sweet and costed me $6.50. Unfortunately the cream cheese danish and bear claw was so good that they were gone before we took photos. Would recommend the danish and bear claw, but would not recommend the drinks! Service however was phenomenal and they even asked to heat up my danish and bear claw and I appreciate that. They do accept Apple Pay which is a plus since I couldn’t find my debit or credit card before entering.

My son and I decided to stop in for a pick-me- up while running errands. We had the bacon cheddar bagel and caramel pecan cinnamon roll with white mocha coffee. The food was delicious (kid and adult approved). Coffee was perfect. Friendly staff and nice clean atmosphere. It was a tad pricey but I kind of expected that considering everything seems to be made fresh. Well definitely be back.

The cheese danish was very delicious I would come back for that for sure! But unfortunately the coffee had a burnt taste to it. I was a little upset about that because I love coffee and that was the main reason for trying homestead for the first time! I got the caramel macchiato. But I did let them know and they corrected it fairly quickly! Customer service is amazing!!

This is my favorite local bakery in Macon! Highly recommend the honey butter bagel!

First time here. I had 3 eclairs. The wife had a cheese danish and a white mocha coffee. It was really good. All made fresh daily. Service was good and staff were friendly. Probably gonna be the after workout stop on weekends. Do yourself a favor and support local, made with love, quality food.

Was introduced to Homestead Bakery croissants by a friend. We live an hour from the Homestead Bakery but this place has become a fav !! Love the croissants which can be eaten directly from refrigerator and or at room temperatures !! It is so buttery, flaky and soft. Love their apple scones, pecan cranberry topped and Danish breads too!! Prize wise, they are slightly expensive on some items but comparable on other items.If you love enjoy bread and cannot bake like I do, then try Homestead Bakery breads! You will not regret it!

First visit was today but certainly not the last! The service was so friendly and fast! I got the cold brew with chocolate and toasted marshmallow flavor. Yummy!!! It was impeccable. Will be back at least once a week!!!

I love the food! Some of my favorites: apple cinnamon scones, peach turnovers and their mouthwatering egg and cheese croissant breakfast sandwiches (meat available with that if you choose). Their coffee is excellent as well. The staff are super friendly and helpful and the restaurant is attractive and very clean. I heartily recommend Homestead!

Amazing bagels! Phenomenal cinnamon rolls (FYI-they sell out fast)! Cool Fusion drinks. Delicious hot/cold coffee options of course. Friendly. Clean. Great place to meet up with a friend.

Great place to study and get some work done! Very nice staff who asked me if I needed anything while I was here for a while. Coffee was a little sweet and pricey but will definitely come back and try some new things! I think I found my new study spot :)

The coffee and croissants were fantastic. We were given samples of their own roasts by a very knowledgeable gentleman. They were fabulous! Next time I pass through I would love to stop in again.

Homestead bakery and coffee is everything I stopped in last Thursday the staff was super friendly I got 2 cheese danish. I love that the cream cheese is completely over-the-top Icing drizzle across it!!!! It was so good I came back again today to get 2 more LOL. My sister told me how good they were And she was so right!!!!

They now roast their own coffee, and it is delightful. Recommend the Wildfire roast (with cinnamon / chocolate) or modifying a drink with their white bean espresso.Best coffee in Macon, hands down, and super-friendly staff / atmosphere.

Amazing food!! Food is homemade. Just moved to Macon and looking for a nice breakfast place. Homestead Bakery is it!! Employees are nice and helpful as well. Do yourself a favor and get the everything bagel and a cheese danish. OMG so good.

My family and I have had a great experience! The food came out relatively fast, considering how much we ordered. The fruits in the pastries tasted quite fresh, and the tomato soup has become one of our favorites. Would definitely recommend!

The baristas are so incredibly nice here. They recommended several of their signature pastries and bagels. I’d always heard that their coffee was delicious and it lived up to the hype.

The cafe seating area was large and comfortable, with cute decor. The staff were calm and friendly. I ordered the smoked tomato soup and a croissant. The soup was the best tomato soup Ive ever tasted at a restaurant, and the croissant was good too.

Found this place randomly and I’m so excited I did! I was able to get hot tea and a delicious treat! So glad to know there is a place to get homemade bakery items.

I was lost on what to order but the owner Jeanette helped me out on what she thought I would like and I actually ended up loving it . The Ham sandwich on the honey butter bagel was AMAZING. It’s clean and they are beyond nice .❤️ I will highly recommend Homestead Bakery .

Absolutely the best bagel Ive had since moving away from New York. Just delicious!! Really enjoyed the coffee too, and they had oat milk which was a big plus.

A wonderful find in Macon! Great cold brew that wont break the bank, amazing baked pastries, and a lovely atmosphere. The owners story is a testament to hope and human resiliency. A great stop for a little happiness and coffee!

First time here and I got a club sandwich. For $10 it was lacking. 1 slice of ham and 1 slice of cheese and I piece of yellow lettuce and a bag of Laye’s potato chips. Experience was lacking. 1 piece of lunch meat on a croissant does not meet my expectation of a $10 sandwich. Maybe I try again later and have a better experience.

I am in love with this place !!! I went in this morning to get breakfast and got the Almond Crossiant and I cant even tell you how good it is and do it Justice !!!! I also wasnt sure what I wanted to drink other cold coffee but no worries they always recommended something and it is always great !!!! Support Local !!!! Thank Yall !!!

I got the chocolate croissant, and it was really good. The prices for their menu seem kinda pricy at first, but if you get a breakfast meal its super affordable for a sandwhich on a bagel with your choice of 16oz coffee.

My partner and I love Homestead! Everytime we visit we are offered great service and the food is on point. We notice the difference in Homesteads made from scratch food compared to other restaurants. We treat Homestead as a luxury. We really love the bagels and the cheese danishes, and the coffee never disappoints. We recommend Homestead to whoever we can who loves places like this.

I’ve been excited to try this place since it has opened. I live in Dudley, so it’s not exactly convenient. But, I finally made it over and they did not disappoint. My breakfast bagel sandwich was amazing, my latte was perfect and the fusion drink was spot on. I will be back! The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and recommended several different things that ended up being delish!

I’m moving out of state in a few days and I’m going to miss this place! Their bagels are so fresh and definitely have that homemade taste. The blueberry scones are great, and others must think so too because they frequently sell out! I’m lucky if I get there early enough to get one.The Red Bull fusions are good too and they have a large variety of flavors. I just tried a drink that used to be one of their specials (an iced moose tracks) and it was soooooo good!!! It did not disappoint. The only “negative” thing I have to say is that the prices are a bit high BUT that doesn’t stop me from going there lol. I would much rather spend a little bit more and support a local business. They do have a few incentives though, like punch cards for drinks and bagels, and also BOGO bagels towards the end of the day. Definitely check them out!!

Homestead is awesome. The bagels are great and each time we’ve been in the store, they have had a new pastry to try. Nothing has disappointed and the chocolate croissants are the best. Really glad the owners chose Macon.

Not a bad spot for a quick breakfast. The coffee was reasonable and the bear claw was good. The cinnamon roll, however, was way too sweet.

Ive made my own croissants and pain au chocolats before and have never found a version that could beat them in buttery taste, flakiness, and overall delicious... until now. Their drinks--especially their chai latte are fabulous and Im looking forward to trying more of their baked goods. Everyone was incredibly sweet in the bakery and service was quick, even with my sisters and I placing multiple orders.

This place is amazing; you have to try their fusion drinks and the danishes are to die for!

My in-laws introduced me to this place. They live 45+ min away and I live 2.5 hours away...so we arent regulars but that suits me just fine as prices dictate this not be an every day treat.Of the 6 items my husband and I have tasted, the chocolate croissant & white chocolate raspberry scone are exceptional! The bagel was ok - not amazing but I plan to try another flavor & give it a second chance.The in-laws love the bear claw & croissants too...although I dont prefer them.We love frequenting local shops! Prices are a bit steep for every day, but if you want mass produced Walmart quality, go to Walmart. If this fits in your budget, I believe you can something for everyones tastes here. Definitely recommend a visit!

Im truly sorry but the lady behind the counterWas not very friendly nor was she very informative about any of the products in the case.She could not tell me when any of the items were baked or how long they had been in the case.She also left one of the items I purchased out.Prices were a mystery for her and I dont think she rang it up correctly.Some of the items were good.
