What a lovely spot. I have used their paint often in the past and really like the quality. The addition of the design center and window treatments is a huge bonus for the customers. The decor and home accessories are quite tasteful. The staff is welcoming and helpful. They offer all the services you could want. I only took a couple of pictures but they dont do the place Justice. Hopefully they have a website with better pictures.

First time delivery here. No overnight parking, but they open the gate at 0700. Won’t start unloading you till 0800. Bathroom and vending available however you probably won’t need it they are very fast to unload you here. The guys did amazing work. Very helpful, friendly and professional!

Friendly staff and got everything I needed except I had just one small issue... was given a custom fill can without the nozzle spray and couldnt spray my car mirror. It was a Friday when I got it and I spent two days trying to figure out if the can was a new high tech spray can that didnt need a nozzle to spray or something 🤣🤣🤣 since the place was closed until Monday, I had to wait until then to go back and look like a dummy, asking how do I use this spray can!!! 😂😂 then I was told that I needed a nozzle thing to spray and he attached one to the can.....🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

Amazing! Just left after going in for automotive paint. Ive gotten paint from many different suppliers over the years and this has been the best by far! The guy was very helpful and patient while I decided on the color I wanted. Price was better than expected as well. Would absolutely recommend and they have a customer for life

The customer service was excellent and they were efficient.

The first time I went in was great. The manager was so helpful. The second time I got there at 5:15 because I get off work at 5 and the worker locked the door as I was pulling up even though they close at 5:30 and pointed me towards an automatic door that did not work and he ended up having to let me in. He immediately asks what I want and how much because they were about to close. (I was aware but their hours are so inconvenient to someone who actually has a job that’s not painting for a living). I was depending on the manager to be there and his help with picking out stain but this worker continued to rush me and I got something I did not actually want because I was SO rushed and tried to return it today and they refused to take it back because it had tint in it. LYNCHBURG James T Davis has a terrible employee and I have never had such a bad experience with an employee. I was going there instead of Lowe’s because I thought James T Davis had more knowledgeable employees. Well now I have a $50 can of stain that is ABSOLUTELY USELESS to me now so if anyone needs some stain let me know!!!! I got the stain I needed at Lowe’s and will never return to James T Davis and encourage anyone who needs assistance with picking out any kind of paint to go elsewhere.

Got a new spray gun and connects. The counter help was great. Had me all set up in less than 10 minutes.

This place is a hidden jem. Ive lived in Lynchburg most of my life and if I had to choose any place to go buy anything having to do with interior or exterior paint, wallpaper, automotive paint, painting supplies, window treatments and home decor. They are professional and know their craft. You need to stop shopping at Lowes and Home Depot and visit a place that has been in Lynchburg for longer.

They are paint mixing magicians. Well I guess all paint stores are now- adays!?!? They are very helpful and try to answer all my paint questions... Thnx

Went here to look at paint colors for a custom bicycle. The guys were friendly and let me peruse the colors in their huge sample case and borrow a light to see what the colors would look like in the sunlight.

I called to check on a respirator he said they have some -in the model I needed. I told the guy I was coming and within (5 minutes of me calling and getting there) the jackass said someone came in and bought them all. Peoples word means nothing nowadays.
