The worst experience I’ve ever had. Delivered appliances(fridge, oven, dishwasher) the fridge was dented and has to be replaced, they forgot my metal braided water line so put the plastic one on. They came back a few days later to attach the braided line and refused to attach it because my water line is in the basement even though the original installation had no problem going down there and attaching the plastic water line. The oven was defective and leaking from the inside not the gas line lit the actual oven was leaking natural gas and when the oven was turned on it released carbon monoxide. The oven was filling with gas and slowly leaking out so we did not notice the smell for a day and a half. My dog was in the house the entire time and we slept there as well. I had to call the fire department to figure out where it was leaking. I asked if they would just come collect the death trap oven and they refuse to pick it up until a replacement is ready which will be at least a month maybe more. I just want it gone for peace of mind but they refuse. The whole experience was horrible and I will never buy appliances from Home Depot again!! Please if you do purchase them from there DO NOT LET THEM INSTALL THEM. they use a third party delivery service that is hands down the worst, they didn’t even know how to hook up our gas line to the stove it’s pathetic and I can’t believe how rude and unhelpful Home Depot and the delivery service have been. They are lucky we are fine or I would be suing.

Excellent, well stocked Home Depot. Very helpful staff, not crowding but willing to assist. Little bit of questionable choices for where things are found but they certainly aren’t lacking. Better than the blue counterpart for sure

This may be the worst Home Depot Ive ever visited and that is twice as unfortunate when I have to drive past it to go to the competitor.I regularly check online for information before visiting stores so I dont waste the trip (and so I can get an idea of costs). Multiple separate visits, multiple items were listed with plenty of stock (10+) and upon arrival, there are none to be found. Tools, garden supplies, even PVC pipe.... all listed as available but nowhere in the store. The first instance, we looked at boxes above for un-shelved stock and there just was none. The second was also blamed on it not being re-shelved too, except this time all the back stock was right there and items as simple as garden twine werent available. Other times I just move on. Today was multiple items and upon asking, it was blamed on back-stock (again) and then I waited for 15m for help (paged/asked/etc) and nobody even bothered to show up. I finally gave up and walked out empty handed, again.I leave two stars because theyre the only place around that carries the lawn fertilizer I like and they have a decent selection of garden starters. It wouldnt be unfair to leave one.Poor inventory management, poor stocking effort, and poor customer service.

Love this place! They carry the Lasko Power Plus box fans and they are the best fans ever! Always find what I need and if I cant someone is always kind enough to help me. Keep up the good work everyone!

There are items that you must order on line, like hot water dispensers, you can order yourself but you do not get a military discount, but you do get free delivery. I went to the store to order it since there were other items I needed. I went to order it and was told since I came in it would be $79 to deliver to home and since had to be ordered there is no military discount. So if they make you order it, because it is not kept in stock, it costs more for delivery and no other discounts.

Fine place to go but some of the quality control just isnt there. I was looking for cactus soil and I did find it however the pallet was left outside in the rain and every bag had small poke holes in them (the holes were expected the storage location was not). After finding as dry of a bag as we could we bought it and dried it in the sun for a few day prior to use. The soil seems to be working well but the goal was to to this project that same day. Inconvenience aside the location was stocked and staffed well.

The worst experience with the delivery of our refrigerator, we bought new refrigerator on line and they had a delivery team (Forward air) deliver our fridge, they unhooked water line from old fridge and valve was not holding (leaking) left line unhooked and slid new refrigerator infront of water line and let leak down wall damaging sheetrock, and of course the deny claim said not there fault. Dont ever let them deliver to your house, sorry job

I have been using home depot for a long time.I got some lumber there and help came and helped me load and got me a red flag and put it on for me.they are very helpful there.

The staff is super helpful and friendly, products are easy to find and there is a great variety.

I would like to say Mr.Jerry on old graves mill road at home depo love to serves his customers.He greeted me at the door...my hair fell down he was patient while I put it back in place.I asked for help he not only helped me he also made sure I had what I needed and either stayed ahead of me b4 I made it to what I asked for or met me there....either way I have never had service in HOME DEPO with such respect and help...its normally ur told where to look and left to play where is Waldo but it was not a needle in a hack stack with MR.JERRY.... he out ran the cat and did and OUTSTANDING job and I would most Def b back.... Home Depot, Lynchburg, VA, excellent customer service! The associates were VERY helpful, pleasant, and polite. They asked if they could help as they passed by. The greatest thing, was if they told you where something could be found, they were exactly spot on. Home Depot is the BEST!!!

Loved the flowers so many different ones yes I spent too much. 💖 there were so many potted plants that were dying. From no water at least put a reduce price on them. These are the first 💐🌹🌸 flowers you see before you go into store.!!!

I tried to order an item online that showed it was in stock at my location. But when I was having trouble ordering it myself, I went to the store to order it there. I was told they do see the item I want but it cant be delivered to this store for pickup and I would have to drive to the next closest store to get it. Was also told shipping to me wasnt an option either. Talk about disappointed. So I decided to give it a try one more time to order it and it was successful. I went to the curbside pickup and it was brought out to me. I even went in the store and found the person that tried to help me earlier and told him. We were both shrugging our shoulders. This is not a bad experience because of the staff, not at all but the ordering online process needs to be overhauled. There is a disconnect somewhere in the software I guess. Oh well. That took way longer then it should have taken to order a simple item. As you were.

My husband and I recently purchased a home and have made several trips to Home Depot in the last few weeks. Our last visit was memorable because of an associate in the paint department named Harley. We didn’t know at the time that she was new, because she was so knowledgeable & helpful-she seemed like she’d been working there for years! Anyway, just wanted to share that Harley was super great and we appreciated her taking the time to answer all of our questions & keeping us from destroying our new home ;)

I asked 4 different people to help me before I found someone who actually did.It was either “ Let me find someone to help you”Or “ I’ll be right back and help you”Or one response I got was “ just get in line. Customer service will call someone to help you”After standing in line for 30 minutes and concluding customer service didn’t have a clue....I again went back to the department I started in and tried to find someone. 45 minutes later someone did.When I left I reconciled myself to the fact as horrible as Lowe’s customer service is it was still better than what I received at Home Depot today. If there was a 0 star I would have given it!!

My wife and I went to the Home Depot in lynchburg va looking for a home project supplies and materials. We found an employee who helped us somewhat. But we saw this gentleman coming down the aisle and I asked him if he could help us. He did! Patrick was his name. He matched all the pieces together and was a refreshing experience with a big box company! THANK YOU PATRICK FOR YOUR HELP! But he said one that really impressed us. He said that you couldnt ask for a better company to work for than Home Depot!!

Curbside pick up. Waited too long, but the guy who brought my stuff out was very courteous.

Good experience at this store everytime. Friendly and helpful staff always make you feel welcome. There the other day and one employee announced they were headed for vacation so everyone have a happy new year. Thought that was awesome! Also still want the beautiful lady at the paint counters name and number.

Curbside pickup doesnt work well, I have to call to get them to being it out even after I say Im there on the app.

When I got there they knew exactly what I was looking for and showed me where it was and I got it quickly and their customer service is great. The price was all so very competitive for what I bought. Ill be back.

This a pretty good home depot. The flowers are usually fresh in the spring and they have most all your home needs. The staff has always been friendly and helpful.

I like Home Depot and shop there for home improvements and plants. Today I did a curbside pickup for an online order. Everything went fine except I checked in on my phone and for some reason they didnt get the notice that I was there. I finally called and they brought it right out. Just be aware of this glitch. Other than that Im very satisfied with Home Depot.

Overall I like the layout and look of the home Depot here more than I do Lowes. Things are just labeled a little better and its easier to find stuff was also just a little nicer and more prompt with meeting my need.

I love Home Depot in general, but this location is really great. Sure they are a bit more expensive than Walmart or some mom and pop repair stores, but Home Depot is almost a one stop shop for everything and their sales associates know a surprising amount too.A few days ago, I came in looking for a quick connect part for my sink faucet. I was upset they didnt have it at first and saw that I would have to buy from the manufacturer (2 week wait time and not an option) or buy the whole faucet. I opened up the $140 faucet box to see if all the parts were there and they werent (it was clearly returned since water was coming out of it). I called over an associate and asked if I could get another box, but when I explained my situation to him he let me grab the part I needed from the open box since he said they would throw it away anyway. The guy saved me $140! I felt so happy wit the service, I bought a ceiling fan for a slightly higher price than Walmart. Seriously, this place is the best!

My husband made a decision to purchase a fireplace from Home Depot. Before I placed the online order, I contacted my local Home Depot to find out how to use his military discount. They told me to go ahead and order and have it shipped to the store and once it arrives they will do a return and he could repurchase it in store using his military discount. So we did exactly that but when it arrived they claimed they could not give the discount because it was an online order. The old bait and switch got us! So I assume it’s best not to listen to the workers who are supposed to give honest support. So who should we have asked? “Thanks for your military service” does not apply here!

Ordered carpet. Spent 20 minutes with flooring rep getting all info. Said they would call . They didn’t. I finally called to check. The person in flooring that answered my call said if “it wasn’t me that helped you then I have no idea.” I asked if my info was in the system and he said probably not. Didn’t check for me. Overall Rude encountering and waste of my time. Will order somewhere else.

What I was looking for was easy to find was a reasonable price check out was fast. In and out in 10 minutes.

One of the reasons that I like the home Depot is that it has staff trained to help you and not act like they are being put out or seemingly run when they see you coming. The prices are reasonable and the store is clean. I recommend this store for your home projects.

We were looking for a replacement over-the-oven microwave. The associate we talked to was very nice, but informed us that none of their over-the-oven microwaves are kept in stock. It would take nearly three weeks to have one shipped. As a replacement for one that stopped working, this was not an option for us. We went to Lowes and they had them in stock.

Kathy helped me make a plan to fix my flower beds and recommend me some weed killer. Friendly staff at this establishment

Top notch staff and extremely organized store.

Ordered a zero turn lawn mower online. Got an email to come pick it up so we went to get it a few days later and after looking for it they found it was still in the crate and unassembled. Manager told ladies helping us that it would be assembled the next day Friday and delivered the day after that Saturday. Got a call on Friday saying they didnt have our address so I gave them the address and again was told it would be delivered on Saturday. One oclock on Saturday and no lawn mower so I call. 6 minutes pass before the phone is answered and another 9 before I actually talk to a manager that says sorry it is assembled but it will not be delivered until Monday. Where is the customer service? No on should have to wait listening to a phone ring for 6 minutes before it is answered and Managers should follow through on what they tell customers.

Good experience here. So much more helpful and professional than the alternative 5 letter store in our area.

Dont bother asking for assistance. I asked 4 employees all of which replied it wasnt there department and kept walking. Stopped 2 from walking away asked if they could page the person for the tile department. 30 minutes later went up front asked for assistance walked back 30 minutes later other employs passed and not from the flooring department. Even joked with my wife that if I asked for assistance theyd have to call 2 other people to answer 1 question.

While I like to shop local, this store does employ local people and they have a solid selection of useful stuff. My experience is their customer service is better than Lowes. Ace has some better quality tools, a real greenhouse would be better for plant selection, and Best Buy appliances are installed by their own staff that does a great job. But for most typical needs Home Depot is a very good shopping experience. Their paint is excellent too. Ive brought my dog along a while back and they greeted him and didnt kick us out so that was cool too. There is a station near the entrance to recycle lightbulbs and batteries. The customers in my experience are following Covid courtesies better here than competing stores. I almost always leave Home Depot in a good mood with some projects in my cart I didnt plan ahead.

They always have whatever Im looking for when other hardware stores do not. Its also easy to find help when you need it. Employees are highly visible.
