I came here with a bunch of co-workers from the hospital and we had a blast! They have a great selection of paper targets and their prices are great. Maynard was very cordial and patient as he helped us get set up. Ear protection rental is only a buck and they work great! We brought our own guns so I can’t speak to the gun rental experience but I’m sure it’s great.

Staff were friendly and helpful. As a relative novice to gun ownership, their insight was very valuable - and they were not stingy with their advice, either. Very thankful for the welcoming environment.

Absolutely recommend. Paul and Glenn were both extremely knowledgeable, knew every handgun they showed me like they had owned it for years. Full of knowledge about different types of ammunition as well as the ins and outs of the firearms they sold. Both guys are extremely kind and provide amazing customer service. I rate this place 10 out of 10! The staff here is really informative and completely friendly. I went here to shoot my first gun each staff member gave me tips and safety procedures on gun handling, they even went one on one with me in the range to help me with my grip and also my aim. Amazing community and will be visiting back soon. oh and they also have a lot of gun variety.

I teach firearm safety classes in the area and we go to Lynchburg indoor arms to shoot. The staff is always accommodating and friendly. Many, many of my students have purchased firearms at this location due to the knowledge of the staff, the inventory and fair pricing. True and honest customer service. Buy local!

I used to enjoy coming here. I was there on opening day and really impressed with what I saw (except for the length of the range, only 25 yards). The rental selection is okay, and the classroom is good.However, the store has suffered from a lack of competition in the area. It doesnt have as many quality products as it should. (Example: I like to check out optics before I spend $1500 on a good one.) It typically lacks surplus guns. The ammo selection is small and the prices high. Most of the staff just sit back and watch television instead of helping you.Now, I only go here to use the range strictly for handguns when it is raining. Id rather pay for a membership at the local Izaak Walton League in Amherst. I go to Roanoke, NOVA, or Richmond to shop for products.

They are always pleasant, and kind. They are very helpful, and are just great people. I wish the range was longer but its still a great range and the pricing is pretty good for the range. Firearms well, they have them, and if they dont they can probably order them for you. Very knowledgeable, about laws, regulations.

Ive been dealing with these guys for about 2 and a half years and I have to say that these guys are the real deal. The people who work here are very friendly and knowledgeable about firearms and their prices are very reasonable. They try to work with their customers to the best of their abilities and their range is adequate. Their range prices are actually very competitive when compared to other local shooting ranges. I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in learning about firearms, buying a firearm, and shooting at their range.

Cool little place. Clean. 5 lanes had a short wait but was worth it.

I only go to this place to use their range, but it has always been clean. The staff are also very nice. The range is smaller (only 6 lanes and out to 25 yards) so sometimes there is a wait. When you use the range there is plenty of space to place your firearms and ammo while you shoot. I gladly travel an hour to get some trigger time in there.

Still the best place in Lynchburg! Something to be said for good friendly customer service. I went to place off of Mayflower was told I couldn’t buy the gun I wanted, Law enforcement only. I tried to tell them a couple times they were wrong but they never believed me. I then went and bought 2. 1 from Lynchburg Arms, they had it in stock. The other I went to Richmond. My girlfriend went to buy a rifle and the woman treated her like an idiot! My girlfriend has won several match events, is a Sig and Browning freak and a gunsmith. H&K VP9 is what I was told I couldn’t get! Lynchburg Arms is great customer service!

I was on my way to another range, but stopped to get some ammo at a Walmart and ran into someone who recommended Lynchburg Arms. I am so glad I found out about you guys. Friendly and helpful staff. Reasonable pricing on range fees. Good selection and fair prices on firearms. It can be crowded in the afternoon on weekends so arrive at least 2 hours before closing if you want to be sure you will have a chance to shoot. My only (minor) gripe is that to my knowledge they do not offer a range membership.

Just shot my first gun today. Being 20 and from Illinois, I am unable to shoot any type of handgun. When I walked into the store, I was greeted with a smile and a friendly hello. Towards the tail-end of my hour on the range, I accidentally hit the clip holding my target and the bullet ricochet hitting a fluorescent light. When I approached the counter with my tail between my legs, I was told it happens all the time. I tried to pay for the damage but they smiled and said it was ok. For my first time shooting any type of firearm, I had a lot of fun! I will definitely come back to this location while I attending Liberty University. Thank you so much for a memorable experience!
