Good location, good service prices mostly competitive, good supply.

Very clean and orderly. Nicer than most surplus stores Ive been in. I was greeted and asked if I needed anything almost immediately. They have a large selection of uniforms, camo, packs, boots, molle and assorted chest rigs and vests. The medical supplies are more than youd find anywhere. The ammo and gun selection are small but Im sure they could order others if you asked. The only reason I gave 3 stars is because they have cop lives matter on the door. You shouldnt mix politics and business, plus its driving away business of minorities who have been victims of police brutality or other trauma. Which leads me to think that they dont want minorities in their shop.

First time there today. I bought a qd sling mount. The guy was really nice and the store was cool. I would recommend.

Great service and friendly people. The new store in Lynchburg has a bigger assortment and is well worth a visit. The customer service is outstanding. They make you feel like family. I almost always gho out of my way to go to the Lynchburg store on 14405 wards road across from sheets gas station

Decent military surplus store but they lack inventory of historical items.

This store is great! They have a wide array of stuff ranging from anything you’d ever need for an AR build, military surplus, and tactical gear. The guys working there are very knowledgeable, most of them come from a military or law enforcement background so they know their stuff. Best part is if they don’t have something you want they can order it for you(usually cheaper than online)! I highly recommend coming to these guys before trying to find what your looking for online, I’ve gotten some great deals!

I have nothing but good things to say about Indian Rock Tactical. It is one of the nicest Military Surplus stores i have been in. It is clean and well lit. I have not had any bad experiences there like some claim.(Not disputing anyone just speaking for myself) I especially like the Blue Lives Matter sign on the front. It is Veteran owned and operated and as a Veteran that is an added plus to me. I will always do business with a company that supports the Military and Law Enforcement. If you dont like that buy your surplus in North Korea or Russia. I still Love America

I’ve been into the store a few times. Staff is always nice and very knowledgeable. The prices are also really good. Highly recommend this place to those looking in the Lynchburg area.

They have MREs here. Always a fun meal enjoyed by my boys and I.

They have almost everything in terms of accessories and what they dont have, they will make sure they find for you. At least one of the staff is former police and they show the proper respect to our vets. Good people, a little pricey but so are the items theyre selling, and a staff who will figure out what you need and help you no matter what.

This was going to mark the fourth time I had visited Indian Rock Tactical. The previous times the experience had been a mixed bag. My first visit was the day before they opened--I had no idea the store wasnt yet open but the door was, so I went in. I was immediately and rudely told that they werent open until tomorrow. I fully understand a business getting ready to open its doors for the first time and not wanting customers milling about yet, but no need to be obnoxious. That was a portent of things to come.On my 2nd and 3rd visits, both times the staff was dismissive. Not rude, they just didnt give a damn about customers, myself included. Sometimes bud had come in and both employees gathered around to hear the latest tales, everyone else became irrelevant. I actually like the shop but the employees leave much to be desired.Then there was today. I pulled up at 9:40, pleased to see their large folding OPEN sign out on the street. As I went to the door, an employee was going in. He said that the store doesnt open until 10:00. I inquired about the big open sign at the street and just rudely repeated that the store doesnt open until 10:00-- no apology, no explanation, no interest in customer support. Now I was not expecting to be given early access to the store but seriously, how about a slight bit of contrition for the screw up? How about Hey, I am really sorry about that. Let me get the lights on and the store ready and I will be right with you. Is that really to much to all? With IR Tactical it repeatedly seems so.I suppose that is my major beef with IR Tactical. They just seem utterly indifferent to their customers. I tend to buy a lot of prep stuff and like getting to know who I do business with because relationships are important to me. Sadly, not for IR Tactical. I will take my hard earned money to a supplier that cares about my business. Ilike to support local B&M stores, even paying a bit more to keep them going. But, as for this place, I wont be back.

Guys working there were great... Helped me save some money buying what I needed. Even remembered they had a mail in rebate to get me another 50 percent back.... Loved it

I am the Store manager and I want to address a few comments that have been left. For starters, one of our owners is a retired Virginia State Trooper, hence why we have a Cops Lives Matters decal on our front door. Second, Cops come in all shapes, sizes, and colors. So, for someone to insinuate that we are against minorities simply because we support the police is asinine. We have never, nor will we ever sell any counterfeit items. Yes, we sell mini rolls of Duct-Tape, not Duck-Tape as one person claimed. All of our Open Tourniquets are directly out of USGI issued IFAKS. We offer new NAR Cat7s, plus other tourniquets from other manufacturers.To the customer who tried to come in the store before we were open. I was the one you spoke to and explained that we didnt open till 10:00am The sign was left out the night before by mistake. Had, you not muttered something under your breath and stormed back to your car, I would have told you to just give me a few minutes to open the store and you would be more than welcome to come in. We let many customers come in before 10:00am.We gave the customer the cracked body armor because he looking for a plate carrier to jog in, for weight only, not for protection. The $40.00 price was for the carrier, not the cracked plates. At least get your facts straight before you post things.We have the largest selection of Magpul in the area, even when we are out of stock on some things.

Visited IRT today to pick up some mag pull products. The prices were standard but the selection was poor. They were out of stock all over the place. When asking if they had any AGT-2s for Mlock, the response was Mlock is for Mlock and 1911 is for 1911 (he meant 1913). No problem at this point. So we move on. Later listening to one of the employees selling ballistic plates over the phone. He says a pair of plates is $300 but he will sell a discounted set of plates held together by Duck-Tape. Found counterfeit products as well which were being sold as Duck-Tape products. Stay away from this store. If you do visit this store, be very careful and do your research on what you are buying so you know if it is fake or damaged. But I wont be going back.

Not a fan of this store. They attempted to sell CAT tourniquets on sale - We have CAT tourniquets for $10 over here, normally 30 - they are the real deal! I went over to find box to find dozens or CATS. Next to them were other North American Rescue products. Upon looking at the CATs, they were all fake, not by NAR or any other distributers, but they were advertised as NAR CATS. The staff was friendly but did not seem to know the answers to many questions we had regarding their products. Also, I did see ballistic plates that were cracked that were being sold at a discount. Absolutely unacceptable to be selling any life saving equipment that is damaged, a broken, flawed, or that is a counterfeit. Not impressed with this company at all.

Great staff, fun place to hang out while passing through. I got an unbeatable deal here recently. Good Magpul selection. Lots of surplus choices. Good prices on ARs.

By far the best surplus store within a 120 mile radius. Clean and well organized. No piles of junk to sift through here. MREs, med supplies, camo and lots of pouches and cases. They also have the most complete selection of MAGPUL anywhere. They offer new and used 2nd ammendment tools as well. ;)

Great variety in supplies and accessories, clothing, Med kits, etc. Firearm selection was decent but not as large as some other shops. I really like the place and think its worth the 1hr+ drive.

Poor customer service. I walked in the other day looking to purchase some ammo. As I walked in the only greeting I get was a judgmental look up and down by the two employees helping another customer. As I approach the ammo shelves I see that there is a very lacking selection of ammo, especially shotgun, which was what I intended to purchase. After looking around for a few minutes at the ammo selection, having still not been greeted nor asked if I needed assistance, I approached one of the now three employees that were been helping the only other customer there, who was having the same issue I was. When I approached this employee he glared at me as if I was interrupting something very important. He was standing there not talking to anyone but apparently still helping, by this I mean he was now a bystander in the conversation, the customer who was being helped by two other employees. I asked if they had any 12 ga birdshot. To this he replied No. Thats what he was here for too. After telling the other customer that I had found some at a different local store I then asked the same employee what they typically sold their boxes of 12 ga birdshot for. To which I got no reply. Maybe he did not hear me even though I was less than three feet away. Nonetheless I had no desire to ask again being that none of the employees seemed to have any interest in my being there. So I left. As I was leaving I looked backed and waved and said Yall have a nice day. I got no response to this nor any acknowledgement that I was leaving. So all in all I do not recommend going here. I gave two stars only because they seemed to be taking particular interest in the one other customer that was there.

I have only been in there once. The staff was really friendly but they didnt have a huge selection of guns.
