Has some really great employees at the front that are quick and polite.Sometimes the stock employees charge through the store or block lanes without any attempt at being nice or polite to customers around them which isn’t enjoyable to deal with. It’s not a major issue, but it can put a damper on the experience.Overall a decent store with a good produce section.

Unfortunately, my experience is the staff is not always helpful or friendly. While there are those who do a really nice job, the majority of unhappy, bad attitudes stand out. Walmart seems to have a corporate policy NOT to hear from customers, leaving only the store management to speak with, and then the only person available to speak with you is a shift manager. K-Mart had a similar policy and we all know where they went. Walmart could learn from Amazon, who has an EXCELLENT policy listening and taking action. Typically, my experience is the staff represents the management team, who seem to be absent on the floor. On a more positive note, good value is offered and many of the Great Value brands are of good quality when compared to the more known brands.

Nice find! With a gas station attached. Looking for a more quaint Walmart shopping experience but still get your necessities try this location.

Good just didnt have everything that I wanted.

Came in today 2/22/21, and store looked good, and we got everything we were looking for. We had Sue check us out and she was very friendly and nice. She also packed our items very neatly. So, give Sue a big thanks from my wife and I. She checked us out around 3pm.

Very clean, all foods, okay very here and there kitchen needs. I must be honest .... I like to get what else I need and not two stops to get my cross stitch thread though Walmart is horrible at offering things for fabrics, thread, or much of anything for crafters! There, my honest thoughts!

Overall its a Walmart but my biggest gripe is the produce department. Half the time I come in, there is half rotten produce on the shelves. The salad is usually wilted, the fruit has mold on it and there are always empty bins. Wish they could improve that because if they did, that would be one of the best stores in Lynchburg. Considering it has market in the name I just hoped it would have focused on the fresh stuff more.

Shelves were missing a lot and of course never many cashiers. Irks me because I refuse to go thru self checkout! I dont work for Walmart. Its bad enough that you have to lug them onto the conveyor belt...lug the filled bags back into your cart cause they damn sure dont do it for ya! Then lug them to the car, into the car then into your house. And want me to self check which adds lugging them in and out...up and down...2 more times! Umm...No! They lack a lot in customer service!

Its like you are always bothering what few workers they have. What should be a minute is like an hour trying to chase someone down only to find out they dont know that department. Then they never have what you are looking for. Other Walmarts in richer neighborhoods have all the products and conveniences and personal. Sad.

Other than everyone being miserable, it was good. Pretty faces behind most registers and easy to get what you need. Just like any other.The quality of clientele is infinitely better than most Walmarts. Not judging, but there websites devoted to it.I give it 4 stars.

Not my favorite store. It is small and condensed as it is only a neighborhood store, but also lacks the shiny clean of a regular Walmart, in my opinion.

Its sad to give them only 2 stars because Ive shopped here since it opened. Customer service is poor and many of the employees are rude. Im spending $300 every two weeks and having to use self checkout. They treat me like a criminal, yet have always paid for my groceries!! Two employees watched as I struggled pulling two carts. Thank you to the complete stranger who offered me help, I sincerely appreciated it. Take note!

For my first time in just a marketplace Walmart was a little thrown off. But it was a great store well organized and I found everything I needed.

The employees are always helpful. The store and restrooms are clean. The pharmacy department when were in the drive thru even got a couple things to save me from coming in.

I went there today to pick up four containers of flavored cream cheese and eye contact solution. But I also picked up lottery tickets and a lighter. The cashiers were friendly and the selection was moderate I didnt expect to go to the Supercenter and find everything. They have a good selection choose from. I go there to go in and go out quickly

I cant stand how they make the staff stand at the door with a computer and count people like they are some kinda sheep and monitor who has a mask on or not.. if you go out in the parking lot at look the mask are all in the parking lot so kinda defeating the purpose dont ya think

Have had many bad experiences trying to check out here. First, they are almost entirely self checkout. Then today, they messed my transaction up. Took me going to multiple stations to get it corrected. 29 min shopping trip turned in over an hour. Will never shop this one again.

The reason I gave 3 stars is because they left about a 1/4 of my list that I didnt received. We at least received a refund for that portion.

Not much I to share. Its a mini Walmart near my house. Nice place to run in and get some last minute items. The location isnt that great if coming from work (which is the reported purpose of their Neighborhood Market) I have to cross Timberlake. When leaving, I have to make a U turn back on to Timberlake. The parking is tight and horribly laid out, just as it is in any regular Walmart. There are NUMEROUS handicapped accessible spots, then cart returns, before you even get to normal parking spots. How does this layout facilitate convenience and quick in and out/ last minute shopping? It doesnt. Do I stop here to pick up last minute items? Yes. Would I stop here if any other store were here? Yes.

Prices were fines, walmart expectations were met. I was late to do a pickup order, the staff was not only accomodating but very friendly and understanding with what was MY error, yet they made sure everything worked out, and flawlessly.

Small store and everything is right there. Very quick!

My order was what I asked for and delivered to my car by a courteous hard working employee in a timely manner

Wal-Mart does not enforce required wearing of face masks or social distancing. It is a pandemic on its own. The store is filthy, and maybe 2 out of 10 wear masks. The one way only signs posted on each aisle are blatantly ignored. Although there is a lg banner outside face masks are required I was told by management that they had to post it but didnt have to enforce it. Stay away from this Walmart!

Id choose the Walmart neighborhood markets over the super centers any day of the week. Way easier to find what Im looking for while grocery shopping.

They had 1 register open! There was only 3 total registers where employees actually work. The rest were self checkouts. I DONT WORK AT WALMART! I stood in line for a good 10 min at the only employee register that was open!

I love having them close by, and love the store and staff, but their restocking is very lacking. Too often they are out of things I want, and it takes a while to get them back in stock. Im talking about popular items, or I wouldnt complain.

Went to get a water jug filled up this morning- went thru 4 or 5 employes that did not have a glue what it cost to fill up- they need better training- finally a girl name Brittany came to my rescue and helped me with the right price - opened a register to take my money and showed me how to sat up a re-fill - she was great and walmart should be thankful for her- Great job Brittany !

I avoid it unless absolutely necessary. Only ever one cashier no matter how long the lines. Trying to force everyone to self-service lines. If thats not an issue for you, enjoy.

Produce dept. was awful. What was out was wilted, moldy and the bagged salads were past the buy date. The ones that werent, expired within 2 days and looked mushy. The shelves were out of stock on a lot of items, and the cheese aisle was a joke. Products scattered everywhere and most of the shredded cheese out of stock. Be sure to check the expiration date on everything. The meat is overpriced and looks nasty. The front of the store staff are great. Friendly, helpful, and smiling.

I love the fact that its a Smaller Version of their Mega Stores! I get in, get out quickly without having to walk Very far!

Low prices (except for meat dept.), good produce, good selection. Most lanes are self-check out, often there are problems that require assistance, sometimes response is not as fast as I would like. If youre buying alcohol Im the self-check out lane, you must wait for someone to come and OK the sale and enter a code. Parking is good, access from main road is easy in both directions. This location also sells gas.

Every employee i have come across has been so friendly!

This place is small and stocked. Most necessary food items and beverages are represented. Dont expect to get snow tires or craft supplies. Grocs, OTC drugs, pet food, laundry soap, a few man items, and thats all. Enjoy!

Good parking. Easy in and out. Items I needed were available and fairly priced. A good place to shop.

Store is clean, employees are nice. I come here about 2-3 times a week, and have never once had an issue. The only downside would be their change of hours! They used to be open 24 hours, which was amazing because I work third shift and was able to do my grocery shopping when I got off (1 AM or sometimes 4:30 AM)

The smaller neighborhood Walmarts have really grown on me. This store like others I have been to has a great selection of products, great service and is easy to get in and out of without feeling like you need to run a biathlon to get your shopping done! :)

Great selection of products although they are out of stock on some of the more unusual grocery items on occasion and I have to go elsewhere. Not sure why but it would be nice if they were more consistent with that. Very clean and extremely helpful staff! I go weekly.

I love love love having this nearby. The neighborhood market is such a pleasant experience, and always has fresh produce.

Its a great store with friendly staff and I found most of everything I needed here. I luckily had someone with me who saved the day when I found myself in a bathroom stall and had no toilet paper. Bound to happen to someone at one point or another. Hope they replaced the rolls as soon as possible.
