I had my hair cut at the salon. The women who work there are wonderful. I was SO happy with the results. I was treated like a friend, not just a client. Very very happy with the entire visit.

Love the selection of mens big and tall at this location. Associates were very helpful on todays visit.

Today I bought a nice pair of bedroom slippers since my previous pair, bought elsewhere, are following apart. The people at JCPENNEY were also very helpful. I am looking forward to another visit there.

They always have great deals on clothes. Bought a bunch of things for my daughter for her birthday that were clearance priced. They have a wonderful assortment and durable clothing.

I love JC Penny- its a great place to shop. I can always find something for the whole family . The sales and rewards are nice year round i definitely feel i save on my purchases . I needed a nice wallet- but didnt want to spend alot. I found the perfect one on sale in my price range- i also found great deals on shirts. The sales gentleman was awesome! He helped me with all my purchases. I even got a few early Christmas gifts 🎁. Everyone please support your local store as i do!!

I went for some perfume samples. Kinda disappointed with the limited selection. Smallest Sephora Ive been in. But there was really nobody in there. Which is why I questioned why it was not so easy to get want assistance.

Prices on some items are rediculous. My daughter wanted a dress that was retailed over $100. JCPenney having a 40% off sale. Which made the dress more reasonable. But, the bottom.of all the dresses in her size, were Brown from dirt. I asked the associate if we could get an additional discount, and he said only 10% but then the item would be non-returnable. I dont really know how theyre planning on selling a $60 dress thats already damaged. But I wasnt very happy with what they offered me. Granted, the guy that was helping me, was super kind and he understood where I was coming from.

I have called the salon multiple times today and although I know they are open no one has answered besides the fact that a multiple times they picked up phone and just hung it up. I am suppose to get my haircut but since they cant answer I guess I just wont show up and they wont know.

Great but on PJ today, when ever I drop by JC Penney I always find something I like and the employees very helpful.

Ok customer service

This location is decent. I usually shop for childrens clothes, bathroom supplies (towels, etc), and household items (bedding, dish towels, etc). Ive also used their portrait studio several times to have children/family photos taken. I would definitely recommend this location for those particular needs.

I went into JCPenney’s Thursday night had Worst experience ever . Worst customer service I’ve ever seen in my life I will never return to the store again. The guy didn’t take Security tag off of the pants that I bought had to take the pants back in there they were dress pants he wrinkle them all up when I went to leave they fell out of the bag . Call them about the dress pants and guy told me They were not in the store I could come back and purchase another pair .

My business was actually with Sephora, and they had some odd rules about returns. I had an online order that I was returning, and I was only able to get a certain type of store credit. however that store credit could not be applied back to another online order. so now I have credit, but Im unable to use it on the products I need.

I always find stuff to buy here and everything is pretty affordable but this store always feels more dingy.

Its a bit pricey but it was not easy trying to find clothes for my grandkids...

Sephora! I love playing in the make up and seeing whats new.

After 29 years of marriage I was blessed with a GORGEOUS new wedding band that was on sale.

Disappointing as per usual. (Sigh) Not sure whats happening to traditional shopping, but everytime I return to this store and mall Im quickly reminded of why I love Amazon and online shopping in general. 🤦🏾‍♀️ Store was hot, merch was crowded, selection very poor and checkout process slower than the DMV. I am super good on returning to this, or really any RR store. 👌🏾

This is one of the few places I can still get big men sizes. Clothes are still nice. Descent quality. Some clothes are expensive but thats why I wait for a sale to buy them.

Ok but last visit was near Christmas sale in December i choke on there coupon candy no staff no nothings. This store is a great store. I like the selection and sales here. This is one of the better jc Penney stores I have visited. The staff is usually very friendly and the store is very clean

5 star for the younger female cashier at the kids section. She’s always pleasant and helpful. Even told me about the online coupon that I could use on baby clothes. Jcp doesn’t carry my style, but I keep returning to shop at the baby section ever since!

We have shopped here for forever but it seems that the customer service continues to go down hill. Its like they purposely hire unfriendly people who do the bare minimum to help their customers. You can usually find good deals but its almost impossible to find a helpful jcpenny employee!

Staff at Sephora were helpful and greatly improved since last visit. JC Penney itself was clean and staff was willing to help us with anything we needed. Typical experience as always.

Great prices

We were in line waiting to be helped by a female cashier when a male cashier returned to finish assisting a couple. Two people walked up to his side behind the couple and he told them to get in line behind the people waiting on the other side and he would call customers over in order when he was available. I loved that he did that. It is only fair to call the next customer in line especially when someone has been waiting awhile vs. someone who just walks up. Thank you Pd. for being on point with your customer service and engaging myself and family in a friendly conversation-you are truly a model of what a person working in the customer service field should be! 👌

This store (not JC Penny in general) is a mixed bag. They usually have a good selection, but bad experiences with employees are hard to forget. There are some RUDE workers here, but Ive found it to be an opportunity to meet the management and have a friendly discussion about room for customer service improvement. (Much better than arguing or getting upset, which goes without saying.) The managers are professional and mature, and are super happy to help.

I just LOVE their sales! Their clothing is so up to date and stylish!!💜

Hope this isnt one of the stores that is closing. If so the only store in the mall to shop in for family is Belk.

JCPenney did a great job on Black Friday keeping the check out lines flowing and keeping everything orderly. I enjoy shopping at the Lynchburg location except for the fact that the entrance by the bathroom has an almost run-down feel and gives a bad first impression when you enter that way. Additionally, until they remodel the bathrooms, this store will continue to be less wonderful than it can and should be.One of the best things here is the Sephora inside! I hope this place never goes out of business. Always make sure to check online for coupons before checking out since they often have extra savings available that way.

Great place to purchase quality clothes and homegoods for bargain prices. I love shopping during sales events! They offer online shopping as well as shop from home and pick up in store the next day. They are severely understaffed, so be prepared for long lines.

Had my hair colored at the salon. It was awful. Wrong color, hair came out pink! Didnt even dry and style, just asked me to pay and then she went home! Went home with wet unbrushed hair. Will never go again. Will also NEVER recommend.
