Not sure what we were expecting, but we were a bit underwhelmed. Thought it would be bigger, I guess. We did buy some nice fresh produce for our camping trip next week.

Wide variety of shops and people. Every visit is a unique experience. Fun place to gather as a community.

Small arts/crafts mall. Very well kept and clean. Some really cute things and even when sellers not present, one can purchase. A big plus. Worth a visit. We were told vendors there only on Saturday.

To find out the summer weekly hours, not just weekend mornings! Makes for a great couples date, families or even singles. Although we dont ear pork, the sausage guy can sell bbn it to me and I donate to food bank, facility or give as present. We miss his mom though we understand.

I love the community Market, the food here is great! I highly recommend fathers Bakery and Country cooking by Irene! The country ham biscuit there is awesome! Saturdays is the farmers market so there is a lot of awesome local farms and vendors selling fresh produce and other goods. I try to go here every weekend

Bought lots of locally sourced meats and eggs! While there were lots of vacant spaces, the vendors that were there came with great merchandise. Will definitely be back!

Great restaurants of all kinds! There is NC seafood that is literally from my hometown on the coast. It’s fantastic. There is also a Pilipino restaurant that everyone must go to! I love it!

I love having a Farmers market to get local food without a package! Id rather spend the extra dollar to support a family rather than Walmart or whatever. Buying in season is also better for the environment. Great place to be!

I love shopping at Lynchburg Community Market. They have a large variety of unique hand made crafts, fresh local produce, meats, breads, baked goods, and cheeses, and souvenirs. My husband and I love to come in here and eat at some of the resturants inside while we shop. They have Vietnamese, Filipino, and classic country cuisines perfect for whatever youre in the mood for.

Booths are scarcely populated during the week but the food is amazing, theres a great local feel and its a great venue for out of towners to get a view of local goods.Ill note there is a noticeable lack of attire for purchase.

Even out of season, theres good produce and a variety of flavors to find. Bison, apples of every kind, pho, middle Eastern cookies so many things. And that doesnt even touch the hand crafted items.

Farmers with local fruits and veggies, local meats, local honey, usually plenty all year round on Saturdays. The bakery, coffee roaster and restaurants inside are all delicious.

Great market place during the spring, summer and fall. Unfortunately some of the local artisans spaces have bee closed off for COVID social distancing.

The selection of goods here is most excellent, from the produce (which encompasses everything from apples and turnips to honey and bison) to the eateries. The coffee store and the southern cooking are amazing, the baked goods make you want more, the lavender shop smells so good and the crafts are really cool, too! If you have never been, you are missing out!!

This is an amazing market, keep up with their calendar online or on social media, always something fun and free to do there. Bring your kids and even your little dog, seems pet friendly. I love to get flowers, fruits, veggies, pies. I enjoy seeing the artisans inside and a lot of the time they have music or other entertainment there. Great history at this marketing if you havent been in awhile youre missing out.

Be sure to come hungry as there are a variety of breakfast and other food options to choose from including a local bakery. Most weekends, there will be live music to add to the happy ambience. Its definitely our happy place!

My husband and I always enjoy our time at the Lynchburg Community Market. In the past few years we have attempted to adopt a vegetarian/vegan way of eating for its health benefits, while supporting our local farmers and merchants. We appreciate the opportunity to socialize with local people as well as visitors who stop by. There is a variety of shops inside as well as merchants and farmers outside offering local fruits, vegetables, honey, crafts, prepared foods, particularly wonderful chocolates as well as locally made organic bath and body products and so much more. We especially enjoy our social time with many friendly souls in our community all while supporting our local farmers, merchants, and friends.

Irenes Country Cooking is where its at for a country-style meal. I like to go there during lunch (she only serves breakfast & lunch) to grab a plentifully portioned lunch. I always have enough for 2. Her staff always know what I like when they see me, which is awesome!

Everything you could want to buy

To start with prices are cheaper than Walmart food is fresher and healthier and customer service treats you like family. The farmers and vendors love their customers and want to get to know you even better. Some will even bargain on their prices. Ive never had anything to complain about here. Nor have I ever heard a complaint about the market. in my opinion if somewhere has never had a complaint to my knowledge that makes them great because someone always has a complaint about a place.

Lynchburg Community Market is a great place for locally grown produce, crafts, and food. The Chicken Salad there is delicious. The Vendors are very friendly, the produce fresh, the Food delicious, and the Prices reasonable. They are open every Saturday and certain days during the week. Its a nice place to take the Family as there is also events held throughout the year.

Always a great experience! Love the cheese lady that has fresh cheeses from Amish- the fresh pastas are great! Love the local honey- everyone is awesome ❤️

This place is the best location to get hand crafted items for any occasion. The individual vendors are both personable and so individual- and theres a ton of great craftsmanship too.
