Matt helped us pick out the most amazing bed. He was so friendly, upfront and honest about the beds, costs and everything in between. I took my dad in to get a bed and I must say the lady that sold the bed was working at a different store then she usually dies but I am so thankful she was she turned out to be the best ever let me tell you and we got two beds instead of just the one we went to get she treated us right and good even if this was the last day they were open due to the virus and let me tell you my dad is 78 and he never slept more then a hour at a time until we got him his new bed now he sleeps all night long and its because she took time and worked with us not trying just to go home she was so late and even stayed later when trying to get my bed together then while the store was close I called and she answered everything even when she was off she is what the world needs more of people that really want to help she has won our hearts and I will be sure to send everyone her way I know needs and bed so thank you mattress warehouse for having a great working who goes out her way to make the customer feel welcomed and who really cares she works at the lakeside store and she is wonderful please go see her she will help you with a big smile and make you feel comfortable

I never write reviews for places, but I have to say, this place had great customer service - and I have a story to go with it. I can tell that Mattress Warehouse as a whole is a company that actually puts the customers best interest first. Gavin Halliday, the service representative, went above and beyond to give us an excellent mattress shopping experience.I went in with an idea of what my fiance and I were looking for, but I came alone this time. He asked me some good questions about how we sleep to tailor the options for us, and pointed us to 3 or 4 beds within our price range. I carefully picked out what I thought was the best one for both my fiance and I. Gavin, the service representative, gave me a great deal too within my price range. Since we had already tried lots of different mattresses out before, I thought I would surprise my fiance with a great mattress. I invited my fiance to come and test it out in the store later that day... and well, she didnt like really like it as much as I thought she would. She thought it was too firm. Gavin, the great customer service rep that he is, offered that we could exchange it for another mattress that we both loved equally that very same day, for the exact same price (which was also a great deal), with no additional hoops to jump through. Talk about saving my butt!I also really appreciate their mattress 100 day trial policy. This allows you to exchange your mattress for another one of equal price (or greater price, if you pay the difference) if you dont find it as comfy as you thought it was in the store after sleeping on it at home for at least 30 days. And I love how you can ask them to ship it to any address, at any far out date, and even ask them to remove your old mattress. Lastly, the 10 year warranty is pretty clutch, to be honest. If your mattress sags at all or becomes worn in too much for comfort, they replace it with a new one of the same type free (just dont grossly stain it or rip it).Overall, they have a good business model, with great service. This was by far the best place I have been while shopping for a mattress. Jennifer was able to ask all the right questions to determine what I am looking for in a mattress and knew exactly which mattress best fit my price range. We went to multiple locations around Lynchburg/Forest to find a quality mattress, and we had no luck until we came to Mattress Warehouse. They had a large selection of affordable yet high quality mattresses. They had many options and choices of each mattress size, ranging from twin to king. My experience with Mattress Warehouse on Lakeside has been one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a business. It feels like a total fraud of a company. I was lied to multiple times by Jennifer, who told me there was no on-site management (Surprise! Its her!), who failed to ever provide me the product I order. Somehow its magically been in stock and then out of stock or discontinued after ordering it, or the truck never came, or the order has been nonexistent according to their own website every single time she has supposedly attempted to order it. They also sent us a USED mattress half the thickness of the one we initially order, which Im pretty sure is illegal. Now Ive been told she cant even issue me a refund even though shes the store manager, and I never received any product other than some used mattress. When I looked up this company on the Better Business Bureau, I found numerous complaints naming her specifically in this kind of scenario. Perhaps shes pocketing the money? Either way, Im not sure how shes still employed here at all, let alone as manager when she cant even admit to a customer that shes the manager. Its been nearly a month since I paid for the mattress that I havent received. At this point lighting my money on fire would have been a more enjoyable experience.

Ariel, the consultant at the showroom was very kind, knowledgeable and helpful in showing us the mattresses. She took the time to show us a variety of products and explained the pros and cons of all. We decided to purchase an adjustable bed/mattress and explained we had ordered new bedroom furniture that was to be delivered several weeks away from the day we purchased the adjustable bed. Ariel said that would be no problem and agreed to hold the adjustable bed/mattress until our furniture was delivered. Several weeks later I returned to the showroom to coordinate the MW adjustable bed/mattress delivery with the arrival date of the bedroom furniture at our house. At this point, a different MW male sales consultant stated he wasnt sure whether or not the adjustable bed we purchased from MW would fit with our new bed and further told me MW would not take the adjustable bed back if the new furniture and the adjustable bed were incompatible. We felt this should have been brought to our attention prior to the sale of the adjustable bed/mattress unit. In short, he informed me we were stuck with the purchase even if we couldnt use it and apologized for Ariels failure to explain that. I wasnt impressed with his demeanor or attitude toward me or MW. After fifteen minutes of discussion, confusion and the threat that I would cancel the order and stop payment on the purchase; he finally explained the way the adjustable bed/mattress system worked with the furniture pieces. I called the furniture store sales rep (70 miles away) to confirm this and was told there was a good probability of a perfect fit with the MW adjustable bed/mattress system. With this comfort, I decided to continue with the purchase. The MW delivery team arrived the next day, quickly set up the bed unit, gave us a review of the controls, and they were very careful, neat and polite. When the furniture arrived two days later, the bed did indeed fit perfectly around the adjustable bed/mattress.

I never trusted and liked Big furniture or mattress stores until I came to Mattress Warehouse and met the store manager Jennifer. She was very knowledgeable, understanding, kind and caring. She gave me great customer service and I left feeling like I got a great quality mattress at a great price (as the advertisements would say lol) Im slowly making renovations to the house since I bought it. Because of the great experience Jennifer gave me anytime I have to make an upgrade or needed a new mattress in the house my first stop is always Lakeside Dr. And I always ask to talk to Jennifer.

We were looking for a low profile box spring to make my moms bed a little lower. The manager was great. She beat several competitors prices and helped me find the best boxspring for my moms bed. She even offered us an additional pick-up discount. I was very pleased with the knowledgable staff and customer service.

This place was one of the greatest places I had ever been to when buying a mattress and the associate I worked with I believe her name was Jennifer was on top of it all making sure I tested the beds that would fit my needs. I have been to multiple stores looking because I have a bad back from serving in the Military and no one could help me or would get annoyed with me trying all the mattresses to find the best one but not this store they went above and beyond to make sure my needs were met. I will be recommending this to friends and family or even strangers I do not know yet so they can get the same quality of care as me. I was looking for a mattress because I was one of the people affected by the flooding in early August. I walked in and met Matt. I told him I was on a strict budget since I had to replace so much more. He was the sweetest person to deal with. He gave me a great deal on a mattress I fell in love with. He even worked with me on the delivery fee. I can’t speak for other locations or other people. All I can say is Matt and his boss were so nice and understanding to my situation and really worked with me. I will recommend this location and them to anyone.

I went to several locations and could not get the mattress for the price that I wanted, until I met Jennifer at the Lakeside location. She was very motivated to make a sale. She also provided superior customer service and was very friendly.

We went to different stores to shop for a mattress until we found this place. The price are not that bad due to the discounts from black friday deals but i am not sure after that. Jenny made us tried different beds that matches our favorite sleeping position and back alignment (computer based). Also, the delivery is free and pay $15 per piece for disposal of our old mattress. Update: replacing the mattress & delivery of new one needs to pay $100 and takes a week or more to have it.

I purchased a complete Mattress for my bed based on my profile. The computer found the mattress that was well suited for my sleeping comfort.Also I purchased a twin mattress for my day bed using the computer choice. The price was well below my expectation but the sleep quality is great. The service was second to none the folks that delivered the bedding were polite and to the point about getting the delivery complete.The salesman/store manager Corey had great customer service skills and made sure I was happy with the product.
