Came to Grand furniture looking for a sofa and found what we liked without any big sales pressure. Rhonda was our sales associate. She was very kind and helpful. We are able to get our sofa within a week which is wonderful because other furniture stores make you wait 3 months or more to get furniture. We will definitely go back to grand when we need other furniture.

We bought a couch/recliner/love seat from Grand over a year and a half ago. The particular order was “custom” (only bc of the color we chose). Among other things, one of the arm rests on the couch ended up caving in. We called customer service and, at no fault of their own, they just didn’t have the ability to send someone out to take a look of it because of Covid. We waited a good 6 months for someone, but they never came. Finally called Grand for an update. Customer service finally explains that they couldn’t send anyone out to my house and suggested coming in and picking a new couch of equal or less value. Already frustrated, we walked into the Martinsburg location and picked out a beautiful couch right away. We were told that we would not receive the new couches for approximately 3 month. 3 turned into 6, which turned into 9 months, and now we are coming up on a year and still don’t have them.I’m frustrated and disgusted but trying to stay patient due to the world’s struggles going on right now. I could even understand that, mostly…but what I cannot understand is why there is zero communication between Grand and their customers!

Had been searching for new living room furniture for a while, with this store near me being on the short list. I like the selection that they have to offer on sectionals, sofas, and recliners, even during the current supply chain issues.I was assisted by Rhonda each time I visited. A kind, knowledgeable, and professional consultant to work with. With her assistance, I was able to comfortably purchase a sofa and loveseat. I look forward to having it delivered and seeing whether I will need to use the protection plan in the future.

Our experience with the store and their sales team were exceptional until I return to check out a few days later for their 20% sale. my sales person was off that day and someone else assistant me writing up the order which I presume they get part of the commission from the original sales person. But nonetheless and the sales person talk to me till I left the store which I felt was kind of odd but when I got home I noticed my invoice was for more than what the purchase was supposed to be by $50 and extra taxes. I was wondering if this was a bait and switch price deal because I seen another guy come in with his employee so I was there to have to be text or changed. Either way I would suggest John Jr as They recommend it sales person at grand piano in Martinsburg.

Our salesman Bruce was excellent!! He was not your typical over bearing pushy associate. He greeted us kindly listened to what we were in for and allowed us time and space. I ended up not making a purchase that day and returned days later to make a final decision. As the sale came to an end and paperwork to be done Bruce still wasn’t over bearing or pushy. Thanks for listening Bruce you truly are what made the final sale for our family!

This place is huge and has beautiful pieces! Lots of variety to appeal to different styles/taste. We purchased a couch and kitchen table - the table is scheduled to be delivered in 2 weeks & the couch in 6-8 weeks. I don’t know the standard delivery time but that’s pretty much what I expected going in. Looking forward to finding more great pieces there!

Jacob was friendly and very helpful. The woman in the office was very nice to me, too. I love the quality of the sofa bed that I selected, and I am happy to get the delivery and setup for a reasonable price. Whenever I want any new furniture I will definitely shop here again.

Bruce, the sales representative, provided excellent customer service and I feel went above and beyond in giving us the best service he can provide. He was very patient and kind and courteous. I would definitely recommend Bruce and the General Manager did an excellent job as well.

I entered the store looking to replace my mattress and box spring. I was immediately greeted by two sales representatives and was turned over to the young man who handled bedding (Jacob). He carefully listened to what I was looking for and what I had been sleeping on, along with the problems I was having. Jacob showed me the mattresses I had researched and offered additional information on all three. I laid down on all three, and picked the one that felt most comfortable. Jacob said he didn’t think he needed to offer any more suggestions, I had made a good choice. We completed all the paperwork and that was it. Very easy and pleasant experience!

I ordered a couch in January. They told me it would be here at the end of March. It is now the end of May, still no couch. Calling them is no help: “we don’t have it and we have NO idea when it might show up”You’d think they would call the vendor direct to pressure them to deliver. NOPE. You’d think they would warn you that the piece you are trying to buy will take more than 6 months to deliver. NOPE.Update:I’ve been contacted by the store manager and they seem to be trying to get a better delivery status. Much appreciated.Update:The staff became very proactive. They contacted me with new dates and reasons for the delays. End of June, I received the couch,, very happy.

Today was the first time Ive been to Grand Home, I think they have a lot of beautiful furniture! I did order a recliner for Gary its going to b awhile before I get it but thats fine! I just wish I had more time to look around. I will b going back one day when I have more time cause I want a new sofa as well. I never give 5 stars for anything cause theres always room for improvement everywhere.

Assisted an injured worker to purchase the floor model of the lift recliner, and John was able to arrange for this very quickly. The entire staff was so professional and efficient. A pleasure to deal with them.

I was greeted by Michael at the door. He asked what I was looking for and I showed him the couch I found online. He took me right over to it and was able to answer all my questions. He got my order information quickly and took me to the desk to pay. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes with a receipt for the couch I’ve been eyeing online.

Would not recommend going to this store. Kayla dosent want to help or make anything wright. Buy brand new electric couch within 3 weeks shorting out. Send suppose to be repair man dosent do his job won’t check it out argues with customer. Tell her about it she won’t do anything about it have go threw couple people finally get couch fixed. We had Rhonda as our salesperson and she was very helpful and nice. There were a few issues with scheduling the delivery and communication, but they were quick to make it right and went above and beyond to make up for it. The furniture delivery workers were great and very friendly, came in and lugged all the furniture upstairs and went the extra mile to figure out how to get my large piece of sectional out of the house, without damaging it or my walls.

The best place ever to fill your house with lovely furniture. Bruce has the best sales person Ive ever met. Very polite and willing to look for anything that you need. I had the BEST experience ever buying furniture at Grand Home Furnishings in Martinsburg, WV. Wendy and Jake were the two that helped me by every means of the word. I highly recommend buying furniture there, and I definitely will be going back.

We like the furniture very much. Good selection. We had the furniture we ordered in July delivered yesterday (September 29). We were aware it would take that long so we are not upset about that. However, the headboard for the bed was a queen and the footboard was a king. We have a king size bed! Seems like it would make good sense to order the same size for both. We worked with Jacob and went over the order with him several times. So it is a mystery to us how he happened to put in the order incorrectly! I would not recommend working with him. He seemed to drift off cognitively at times so things had to be repeated to him several times. When he went to put in the order he took a long time to get back to us in the store (about 20 min). My husband finally went to look for him at the business office but he could not be found. Another woman said he was supposed to be helping her too.I will shop at Grand again but I will ask for another sales representative.Jolynn

They didnt make us feel rushed or pressured and took the time to answer our questions. I also loved the wide selection that they had. Rented a uhaul to pick up my furniture since delivery they said was so far out.The guy putting the furniture in the uhaul dropped it on its side and didnt even care to check for damage,fortunately there wasnt any.I got it in my home only to find no holes was drilled in part of the sectional for the feet,had to remove some fabric from the sectional to make sure.Called them and no sorry was said only to say we will send a guy out Saturday to look at it..So i am very disappointed and will never get furniture there again alot of money paid out for carelessness on the worker that dropped my furniture and the manufacturer making it with no holes for feet.Sad when a company dont try to make things right.

My experience started by ordering an over $5000 bed & bedroom set at the beginning of January. A few weeks in I was contacted and told the company didnt make the finish of furniture I had chosen- so I chose to go with the finish that they do still make. A few weeks later I was contacted again and told that they also no longer make the footboard to the bed that I ordered - so I chose a complete bed that they do make. I was then promised it would be delivered the following Wednesday (about 8 weeks later) - that Tuesday I was contacted and told that only my mattress and boxspring were coming that Wednesday despite being promised otherwise. The manager and assistant manager did pull some strings for me and get the rest of the furniture delivered the following Saturday which was nice - but then the delivery company didnt have a piece to the support for the bed in which they said theyd have to come back and complete. Today, I get a call that theyre 10 minutes out (I WAS NEVER INFORMED THEY WERE COMING BACK TODAY) to replace that piece, after I had just laid my 1 year old down for a nap in said bed. While everyone was nice and seemed understanding, the $250 refund I received was nothing for all the headache Ive dealt with through this whole process 😏 Ive bought from many other furniture companies and NEVER had this many issues! Im hopeful that this was just a mishap and not something that occurs frequently for others.

My mom ordered a couch during the pre-labor day sale back in August and still hasnt received it. She has called a few times but hasnt even been given a guess as to when it might arrive. She hoped to have it for football season. Will update if it arrives as far as quality. The price was great, thus the two stars.

I went and picked out my sectional on Memorial Day Weekend. I was told it would be delivered in 4-5 weeks. Tomorrow is August 1st (10 weeks later). Still no sectional. This is getting to be ridiculous.

The gentleman that helped us was Bruce, he was very professional,curtious and polite. He didnt force anything on is and he knew his numbers without having to leave us to search for the answer. The only time he left is was to see if it was in stock and how long it would take to be delivered. When we are getting to update the rest of our furniture,we will definitely request him.

Was very uncomfortable, all the 60 and older was being acknowledged. Well missed out on some good customers. Acknowledge and greet all your customers, you never know who is wanting to spend money. Which i chose to take my business elsewhere, although the store had some awesome furniture!

Salesman was courteous and NOT pushy!!! I changed my mind as to which sofa set I wanted and he didn’t flinch! Paying for furniture seamless! I had a great experience with a Grand back in the 90’s when they were called Grand Piano. I expect these pieces(La-Z-Boy) to hold up as well. I’m extremely happy with my purchase.

It was our first time at Grand Home Furnishings and we were very pleased with our experience. Our salesperson was Bobby and he was great! Theres nothing worse than walking into a store and being followed around by the salesperson constantly. He was not pushy at all. He was there if we needed him, but didnt hover all the time. Honestly, he was one of the reasons we bought our furniture there. They have a wonderful selection of home furnishings, and I highly recommend Grand Home Furnishings!

I ordered furniture on Sept 15 and was told 8-12 weeks, which would be about Dec 8th at 12 weeks. Definitely wanted it before Christmas. Still with a 2 week buffer. SOOOO, I called to check in and they told me it would SHIP February 15th!!!! Said a Lazy Boy plant had closed. I totally get that was out of their control, but I got ZERO communication!! Someone should have called and informed me and apologized immediately when they knew about this! This is NOT a small delay it is a TWO month delay...I think that deserves a phone call from them!?!?
