I noticed my tire was showing it was low and I was unsure of the issue. I brought it to ntb just to have it looked at. I had a slow leak due to a nail in the tire. The guys here patched it up, were friendly, efficient and ensured that the information required was correct. I will continue to do business with ntb as the customer service is always wonderful.

Great place to get your car serviced! There is always the possibility of a wait if you don’t get schedule an appointment but they always do their best to get you in as fast as possible. Techs do great and efficient work and the lounge is a great spot to relax in while waiting. Victor did an excellent job of telling me what my must haves and want to haves for my car and gave me great pricing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

This location seemed like it was brand new. Everything was clean and looked great. I think they were still setting up stuff in the lobby but it was looking great. Service could have been faster but I think that were training a new employee. NTB was very quick to fix a flat tire that I had and that were very affordable. I would go back for sure next time and I would recommend their service for flat tires.

I stopped by a couple weeks ago for an oil change and to have my rotors resurfaced because I was getting vibration from the steering wheel when braking. Service guy took my car for a test drive, came back told me my rotors werent warped and didnt need to be resurfaced; the vibration was coming from the control arms.They couldnt tell me which control arms needed to be replaced and told me to simply drive on them, youll find out when they fail. I immediately inquired about replacing both front and rear control arms. I was quoted almost $1600! I asked multiple times if they knew for a fact that the vibration was coming from the control arms and not the rotors... Each time I was told your rotors are fine, you have some play in your control arms.Make a long story short, I got a second opinion and indeed the rotors were warped... Vibration problem is completely gone and didnt have to spend $1600+ to resolve the problem.

The service from everyone whos name was not Victor Sean Dunn was outstanding. This store manager desperately needs to either be replaced or severely trained in customer service, people skills, and just how to be a decent human being. Victor is BY FAR the most confrontational, arrogant, rude and disrespectful person Ive ever come in contact with. To top it off, he publicly shames his employees right in he main lobby. Its incredible to me how he slipped through the cracks and works as a store manager. Go somewhere else.. this guy will 100% ruin your day.

Im not from Lynchburg so I didnt know of a place so I decided to come here and im so happy I did!! The customer service is great along with the employees, nor me or my car was unsatisfied!

I took my 2015 Ford Edge there in December to get fan relay switch replaced. When the wife went to pick up the vehicle the dashboard would not light up. The radio, navigation nothing worked. The next day we took it to Apple Ford and they rectified the situation. Yesterday the fan on the Ford Edge would not turn off and the battery went dead. I dropped the vehicle off at Apple Ford. I went and spoke with Victor Dunn. He was rude and very disrespectful. I told him that my only recourse was to take it to court. He got loud and asked me to leave.

Super slow service, even with an appointment. Staff in front complained the phone wouldnt stop ringing and they couldnt catch a break. Those working on cars, were on their phones texting. No sense of urgency at all. I will never schedule any sort of maintenance there again. Youre working on our vehicles, we can see that youre on your phone; didnt seem to bother them at all.

Dont just stay away from this place, run away from this place. Dont even think about trying to do business at this place. The ONLY reason I gave one star is because you have click on a star to continue with the review.I went to their website on Sunday to schedule service. I set up an appointment for Thursday at 1pm. I received a confirmation on the website, as well as a confirmation e-mail (pictured below). I printed out a copy of the confirmation e-mail so I would have it, if needed, when I went to my Thursday appointment.Thursday, at 5 minutes before 1pm, I arrive for my appointment. When I walk into the lobby, I see an LED monitor on the wall behind the counter. The top appointment is for Eric R at 1pm. I was actually somewhat impressed that their system worked so well. So far, so good.I went to the counter to check in for my appointment. The employee didnt say hello. He didnt say welcome to NTB. He said You cant schedule that service online. Thats it. Thats all he said. When I produced my evidence that one indeed can (confirmation printout, e-mail, and the shops own bright LED display showing me as the next customer) he said Its a glitch in the system. I then reminded him that the system had performed flawlessly as my e-mail from Sunday, his LED board, and my knowledge to arrive at 1pm Thursday were all in agreement.It was then that he said I understand. This became his almost robotic mantra from that point forward. This is no way to run a business I said. I understand. I drove out here for nothing when I had a five day old appointment. Him..I understand. His attitude was a mixture of sarcasm/indifference and, honestly, provocation. He seemed to be itching for a confrontation.In follow-up calls to the location and then the NTB national customer service number, I learned that the person I had spoken to was the manager. I was surprised to learn that until I started reading these reviews, as it seems this guy has a history. It is amazing to me that a business would continue to tolerate so many complaints which name one specific individual.NTB is sending me a $25 gift certificate to compensate me for my troubles. I am going to save it and give it to someone I dont like as a gift. I will NEVER step foot in that place again.If you decide to take a chance on this dump, you cant say that you havent been warned.

When inside to give this new business a try and get an oil change. 2 customers in sets and 1 in line. Guy at counters doesnt say hi or welcome to NTB, just looks up and says, if you dont have an appointment, I cant help you today, I have 2 people already waiting. I said thats fine, maybe you can place a sign on door for today, so others do not have to get out of their car and walk inside. I had 3 kids with me... He looks up in a rude tone and says, I dont need to do that, Ive got a mouth and can just tell them! Never again will I come in this NTB. Pandemic or not, short staffed or not, common manners still matter to a customer!

Needed my tire checked and saw that there werent available time slots listed online for appointments. I called them anyways to see if they could fit me in and they were so nice and able to get me in. The manager Victor, was super helpful and they fixed my tire in under an hour! Highly recommend this location. Plus if you are a student, they give you a discount on new tires!

The manager was extremely rude he toldMe he had 30 years of experience and he knew more than the computer while basically scolding me about making a appointment online. The line was out the door and a lot of people in the lobby complaining about wait times. My experience was horrible and I will take my business somewhere with better customer service.

I took my 2015 750 BMW to NTB to put 4 new Pirelli tires on. When I picked it up there was a giant BLACK smudge on my ALL WHITE interior. I proceeded to check the PSI in my tires and the pressure was different on all 4 tires. When I asked the guy at the front desk his response was The gauge must be offI Will not be back.

They do have good prices but we got 4 tires and an oil change. Victor always fixes problems even as short handed as he is.

MillerBuilt Outdoor Equipment was in need of tires for our delivery truck. NTB and Victor did a wonderful job of getting me in quickly and efficiently. Provided great prices and had the tires I needed in stock. We were able to get our truck back on the road with minimal down time. We will continue to use NTB and Victor for all our tire needs. I waited to be 100% sure before I made this review. Got 4 new tires in December with road hazard warranty. When I picked my car up, 2011 BMW, the wheels were covered in filthy hand prints and the tires had lube dried all over them. In July I had to have 2 of the tires replaced again due to leaks and sidewal bubbles. They forced me to pay for the warranty a second time or pay full price for the tires with no warranty, even tho it wasn’t my fault. Since then I’ve fought slow leaks and have had to put air in multiple tires every day. I bought a $3 core tool today and fixed my problem completely. They didn’t tighten the valve stem cores down and that’s where my leaks were coming from. I was told by multiple employees that there was nothing they could so and that the problem was my wheels. I won’t be buying tires or using NTB for any service again.

Went in today for an oil change. Had an appointment for 11am they didnt take the vehicle back till 12. We had a $25 gift card and a bottle of Lucas high mileage oil. Told them we wanted a regular oil change and add our 1 bottle of Lucas. When finished they charged us double and didnt put the oil in it that we took. Instead they chose to put their high mileage oil witch was double the price! If you cant do what the customer asks then why do you agree to and then charge double the price? And the way the older man was talking to the other employees was uncalled for.... no wonder it was a Now Hiring sign outside you need to show some respect to your customers and employees.We will never go back again and do not recommend NTB for ANYTHING!

Worst place I could ever go to, a older gentlemen possibly the “store manager or owner” gave me really bad attitude and took way too long to get a tire that was already balanced and mounted all I needed was the tire and be on the way. My poor mom was on the side of the road and it tookAlmost 45 minutes. I will not be returning to this establishment.

I met with Marcus at the front desk and I explained the issue I had with my Cadillac having two blown tires and slightly damaged rims. Marcus provided me with some tire options and then took my tires in the back to ask Marc his professional opinion. They both collaborated and determined the best solution and they were able to save me hundreds of dollars in not having to replace my rims. Great service and team work by both Marcus and Marc. I dropped by vehicle off too get new tires when my appointment was scheduled. They called me at 5pm to come pick my vehicle when they were closing and made it sound like an inconvenience for them to stay open. When I arrived Victor Dunn the manager told me my vehicle wasn’t ready and they didn’t have time to do the balancing. And said he would give me $10 off when I come back- he was talking about the survey coupon everyone gets on their invoice. I came back the next morning to get it balanced because I already paid for it in the original invoice and Victor Dunn changed his words to alignment. When I inquired about this he raised his voice at me and stood over me as I was sitting in the lobby. I’m not sure about the other employees but Victor is a sketchy individual and likes to play around with peoples time and money and by reading the other reviews, I’m not the only one. I had to call corporate to get a straight answer out of him. DO NOT GO HERE.

Great experience at Lynchburg store! I elected to wait for my car which meant that I was at the mercy of the parts delivery. While I waited Victor multi-tasked by chatting with me while he waited on others. He even picked up lunch for me after seeing that the parts were taking a while! You dont get that kind of customer service anymore! Kurt was friendly as was the mechanic (sorry that I didnt get his name). I didnt ask but he made it a point to show me the worn parts after the job was done. Its these old school values that keep me coming back! I highly recommend this location.

I woke up this morning with a flat tire that I did not expect to have so I went to NTB to get a new one. Since this is my first all-wheel drive vehicle I didnt not if something goes wrong with one tire you have to replace all four so I now have four new tires, but the cost was not as bad as I expected 😉. So I call that a good experience.

Theyre typically quick, however, my recent experiences here havent been spectacular. On one occasion I was told they couldnt do my alignment, after leaving my car with them twice. Theyre also not very clear or easy to work with for inspections. I called to schedule, but youre apparently not able to schedule them. That would be fine, but I also wasnt told that they dont do inspections on weekends. So, when I tried to drop it off on a Friday evening I was told it wouldnt be done til Monday morning. Overall, it just doesnt seem worth the time, money, or effort to come back here. Also, they tend to find problems every time you drop your car off for any reason.

I have known the manager Victor for many years. Every vehicle I have owned over probably 15 years he has serviced and woeked on. I try his knowledge, his peoples training. It is so hard to find an honest auto shop these days but I found one. Kudos to Victor and his team!

I have gone to this place twice and both times I left there feeling like they didnt want my business. They advertise friendly and fast service. They were not friendly and I got no service. Wont go back.

I have been a customer here for years, today I had an appointment and waited over an hour before they pulled my vehicle in to begin work, and I was the only person waiting. When I inquired about the delay, Vic was rude and unprofessional. He cut me off repeatedly and didnt provide a valid reason. I was never told that there would be a delay when I arrived, this is completely unprofessional and inconsiderate of my time! Also, I was not offered any compensation for my inconvenience. The other employees were nice.

I was greeted promptly, with great enthusiasm & a smile. I went in for an oil change & my guy,(V.Dunn), went over my options with me & which was best for me. I sat in the A/C in the waiting room & watched the guys look over everything, check everything & test everything. Even had a guy offer to buy me a drink out the drink machine. ( Its the small things that really matter to me). My oil change was originally $75.00 but after the promo code I entered online & the discount for applying for a NTB Credit Card I came out paying ONLY $15.54!! How amazing is that?! Im sure everyone would love to save a few $s during these troubling times. If you havent checked these guys out yet, now is your chance. I promise you wont regret it. With an appointment I had a solid 90 minute wait for an oil change. They are nice but the wait time for a simple oil change with an appointment was just too much. Wont be going back.

My fmily takes our cars for tires and maintenance they really work hard to try to accommodate us no how busy the are. I really do like going there because if we have any problem with our car and truck they always show us and give estimate and option to repair. I have used other places before here and I would rather know the issue with my vehicle than not, some might think of it as an upsell but once they showed me and will explain how and why I love this place. Kirk and Victor really will take the time to help you.

Got an alignment today. It was fast and now my car drives so much better. They gave me great advice for my car and tires. They gave details on what was going on with my car and they were trustworthy. They didn’t pressure me into buying anything extra, but did offer some deals. They put air in my tires. I’m just very happy with the customer service and work I got done today.

I am a single mother of a 1 year old and recently my tire light came on. I was very concerned and I stopped by NTB to have it checked. I talked to a salesman named Kirk and he couldnt have been more helpful. He took me right in and fixed my problem, He explained that tires will lose pressure during cold weather. What a pleasant experience and I definitely will be back in the future for any automotive needs.

Store needs to be cleaner in general. I keep my vehicles very clean, the mechanic working on my car did a very good job on what I came in to have done in a timely fashion. My only complaint is he put his dirty hands all over my car on the outside and on the inside. The service rep is very accommodating. I left another store in Roanoke because of the poor service I received several days earlier to have the same work done at this store I am giving a review on.

My experience was very bad... I experienced poor customer service and poor management from the store manager after I realized that after I received my oil change that my grandson oil tank was half way full. The management team was very unprofessional and rude, and yelling at my grandson and I, due to their wrongdoing...the only person that did his.job was the mechanic at the end he told me that he was sorry and filled the oil tank to the needed amount.... the most stunning thing that happened was that the store manager, was in my grandson face saying “what do you want free” in a rude diction.

Marcus and all the team at Lynchburg, VA’s national tire and batter were super kind and helpful when we busted a flat tire while 5 hours away from home. 10/10 highly recommend. Super professional and super friendly!!!

This company do not complete its services.... the management team is very unprofessional and disrespectful.... I would never recommend anyone to get an oil change by this location, due to the fact that they don’t complete the oil change at hand, they only filled my grandson vehicle up 2 out of 4 on the oil stick... the store manager is very unprofessional and rude.

I have a rental from Enterprise that needed and oil change. The young service writer gave me attitude because the key fob I had didnt have the barcode. He had to walk out to the parking lot to get the information. While I waited for the oil change in the lobby I overheard the same young man bad-mouthing a customer who had called to ask the price for an oil change. Obviously the customer was price shopping. The person who had called for the price eventually called back and the service writer refused to answer the call. He kept that customer on hold for at least 10 minutes while he continued to bad-mouth the person on hold. Eventually another service writer finished with his customer and when he answered the phone the person had already hung up.This bothered me enough to take a pictures of the invoice for my rental.Look them over and youll see the service writers name.

Went for a state inspection. I don’t know if it’s just me, but they always seem to find something that needs to be fixed. My credit card was charged twice. I called them about, never got a call back.The location is convenient for me, but being a woman, I wonder sometimes if they are taking advantage of me

Such a great company! Every time I go they are super nice and the work done has always exceeded my expectations! They get everything done in a timely manner as well!

They have one job - tires. They replaced and (supposedly) balanced my tires however upon my car shaking on the highway, I took my car to my trusted mechanic and found that three of the four tires were NOT balanced correctly... literally the one thing that they do is tires.. and after spending $800, you would think everything would be taken care of yet it wasnt. DO NOT TRUST THEM with your car.

I called and they didnt have my cars tires in stock, Victor went out of his way to do some research and found some tires they did have in stock that worked with my car and were on sale. They were able to get me in same day and get me out within 2 hours for all four tires and an alignment. The service was great, Victor was personable and went above and beyond. I will definitely be going back for all my cars service needs.

These guys (especially the guy at the front desk) will try to do everything to screw you over. On the inspection they said I would need a $10 clamp to pass and it would cost me $75 for the install. There wasn’t any need for this clamp. Don’t do VA inspection here. They’ll do everything they can to add something on that’s unneeded. I’m not one for bad reviews but this place is worthy of it.

I just want to say how satisfied I have been with merchants tire!! I have been coming to this location for over 5 years & have always received excellent service. I am the one who has the engine with blown head gasket that Keith Dunn states on this stores website reviews. I do not have the money to get a new engine yet; therefore, I am changing the oil every 1500 to 2000 miles. I am the one, the customer, requesting service on my vehicle. I have never had anything but excellent, courteous service from everyone at this store: Victor Dunn, Zack Iseman, old mangers, Tim & Daniel, technicians, Anthony, Mike, James.

Came in on Sunday for a valve stem change and was quoted 30 bucks if I brought them the wheel. Showed up a few hours later and the gentlemen at the front desk rolled the tire straight to the back and was done in 5 minutes. Tried to pay for it and he wouldnt let me pay him. Said it was no charge even when I insisted on paying him. It was my only experience with them, but it was a great one!

I will never step foot in here again! I stopped in to have 4 tires mounted and balanced, the guy at the desk said they were not busy and would get it right in. Two and a half hours later my truck still had not moved! The guy at the desk was rude and told me he just got busy. I tried to understand how multiple people that came in after me were getting service after I was told he would get it right in but his explination did not make sense and his attitude was pretty terrible so I just left.

I took my car in a couple weeks ago for tires. I asked for an inspection then, and they pointed out a couple of bulbs that needed to be replaced. So I took it back today for the inspection, after replacing all the bulbs. Very quick fast and friendly service both times. Was very glad to find out that they participate in the fleet program that my beau’s work truck service through. We will definitely be back!

I was an employee of merchants tire but i quit this morning because the Store Manager of store #618 Victor Dunn has very bad habits......So here we go let me start by saying if you have a BLOWN HEAD GASKET and need an oil change..Victor Dunn will do it anyway......If you are ever short on cash hell no problem jusy stop on by store #618 and Victor Dunn will give you some cash out of the register...as he does it all the time him self and leaves the register short damn near every single night......And last but not least he treats his Customers and Employees like they are kids on the playground and talks to them any way he pleases....I wouldnt let him do anything to my bicycle much-less my car !!!!!! 😁😁
