I dealt with the LHS Drive location but could not find a way to write a review on that location. My experience was not a good one. I would hope it was a greedy salesman more than the store itself. Just beware and ask a lot of questions. He spoke of “special promotions” and when I was finished it was just a full price purchase with “trade-in” on my phones being store credit for all the accessories he told me was part of the deal. I did the upgrade on Saturday and on Monday Verizon emailed to say I had a promotion removed from another phone on my account not part of the deal. He upgraded a phone we never discussed and moved my remaining payments (on the phone he said we were paying off) to another phone. So..in addition to the deal I got on Saturday I got an extra surprise on Monday (another $120 in total payments I thought he already paid off in the trade). I went in and asked to take advantage of the 14 day guarantee. But...my old phone was “in a safe and not accessible”. They opened a case with customer service. No good. Escalated it and did get a call back but the answer is not so great. In trying to figure out what this company did to my account, I talked to Verizon who helped me out by offering some credits. In the end, I think Verizon has made good on what happened, but my question is, why does Verizon have to make good on a problem they created. My advice, drive to Beaumont and go to the Verizon store on Dowlen. It is not a reseller. I have been a Verizon customer for close to 20 years. I have never had such a negative experience.

I always dislike ordering new phones online or through the call center, so I decided to go to the local Verizon store to get my daughters new phone. This was my second time here and it was a great experience. Ariel Davis was more than helpful! She didnt try to oversell a product and was very knowledgeable of the phones and accessories. So my husband and I had to make a late night drive to Verizon because I (unknowingly) washed his phone. Justin was so great and nice, he helped us with everything we needed and answered all of our questions. He even listened to me talk about anything and everything. Partially my fault because I didnt check further into it. But do not go to this store. Make sure you go to a corporate Verizon store or they will charge you double what you would pay through a corporate store. They definitely neglect to tell you this, I recall looking back that the salesman was looking at the commission he was going to make from selling me this phone.. Ive been paying on for over a year and I still owe more on it than the brand new model of the same phone.. the I have the motoz. The motoz 2 is out and cheaper than what I still owe after a year!!! Do your research, dont be me....¥¥ look down to see the computer generated response sent by someone who couldnt care less, its the same response used for all negative reviews. What happens if I call?? Absolutely nothing. Stay away unless you like over paying!!!!!
