I bought the suv there. It came with no warranty. I took a risk. But when my SUV already started having problems from a few hours being in Lubbock where I bought it I felt ripped off taken advantaged. They knew we were deaf but didnt warn a thing or two. Only said its good it works. Be caution they may appeared good but they dont tell you everything like they didnt with me. Im now currently in Midland,Texas where Im from. Had been putting my SUV in shop for the past week. Problems kept coming up. Paying more than its worth. Be warned!

Justin posted a picture on Facebook making a car look like a private sale and when I messaged him about it, all he said was this address and a time. When I arrived on the agreed upon time nobody showed up and I left 30 minutes later while looking at the car on the lot. I gave them another chance and went back the next day after I was told I could test drive the car only to be told no because of a vehicle issue they they knew about, but decided to try to sell it anyway. Due to my job I couldn’t get there until 5:45 and they promptly kicked me out at 6 with no help whatsoever. This place is a scam run by people who don’t know anything about business and don’t care about the customer.

Do not buy a car from this junk of a yard place . Me and my wife were fixing to spend 3900 on a bmw and thank god we didn’t . He practically got mad when we asked why the engine light was on and after that was a complete “Dick “we asked to test drive the car and apparently car lots don’t let you test drive cars in his eyes 🙄😂he said sure if your not gonna waste my time 🤦🏻‍♀️ Goodluck with your business sir I’m sure it won’t be open much longer with you.

Not sure what to think of this place. I get the feeling they employees could care less if they sold a vehicle to me or not. The car are not even clean or presentable. I really felt like I was a burren on them and should just leave...so I did.

First of all I want to say that I am a nice respectful person I always treat people with kindness. I went to this place to seriously buy a suv they had that I truly wanted. A tall white male was helping me to test drive the suv. I could tell immediately he was in a bad mood, but I tried to ignore it and continue, but he was so disrespectful, and actually made fun of me I was a little shocked. So unfortunately I just had to leave without the vehicle I wanted. Very disappointed, and I will tell as many people I can, and post reviews on other pages as well. No public business should ever disrespect a kind costumer.

Worst place to buy a car from. Scam artists. They buy cars from the auction with problems and sell them with the same problems. They wont fix it because they are not mechanics they are crooks. Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else.

I went in to Car King and spoken with both Jorge and Justin (owner). They showed me a white Nissan Maxima and Justin was very up front about minor issues the car had. (Just a front shock that needs to be replaced. No biggie.) But said the car ran great and I got a great price on it. A day later the car had trouble starting and the gauges wouldnt work. Monday I called Justin and told him. He sent me to his mechanic and as I type this they are working on it. You dont go to any cash dealerships like this and get that kind of customer service. Usually people are quick to tell you Sorry its sold as is. Not this place. These guys will take care of you even after things are said and done. Would most definitely buy a car here again.

Purchased a truck ( paid cash) was told they would mail the title in 2 days max...they never mailed it. I live over an hour from Lubbock and when we tried to communicate with them we were ignored. We did finally get the title two weeks later. I would suggest steering clear of this dealerahip. If we had received an honest reason as to why the title had not been produced in the time frame we were promised I would not have written this poor review, but its bad business and if this is the way they handled our transaction Im sure they handle the rest of their business with the same lack of integrity.

I bought a 03’ Black Tahoe here. My main reason for purchase was to have a vehicle to drive back and forth (70mile round trip) Yes it had cosmetic issue paint peeling dings ac not working... okay?? I tell ya what this Tahoe is a RELIABLE vehicle. And yes they are upfront! Told me it needed a compressor cool! Nothing I can’t fix. So far I have replaced a knock sensor spark plugs wires and o2 sensors but I knew of these MINOR issues whenever I bought it. Had the Tahoe now for 3 months and 2700miles and so far great! (and NOT worried about it down the road) ac isn’t at all a big deal. What can I say besides I’m pleased with my purchase and that hey it’s a Chevy their tough! Title received it as told 1month to the date. As far as my plate thought they would be sent to my house. Instead were at the dealer I had to drive up there and get them 75miles from my house but no biggie! I got my clean title and everything they promised. With ANY used car dealership always inspect it farther than just cosmetics like oh the ac doesn’t work it’s junk! Because haha!! TOTALLY not the case! Just make sure no leaks transmission shifts like it should no tapping/knocking from the motor hey you should be good for the most!

This was our first car and it did have some cosmetic wear but it was perfect mechanically. Will definitely work with him again.

This dealer is a big rip off we brought a car from them and it broke down on the way home. Called the owner of the dealer Justin and he was very rude and cocky he said we bought it as is. So now we are down $2500, tow truck fee and have a car with a locked engine. Been waiting 3 month and he still hasnt did anything. We tryed to trade it for a running car but he wouldnt. We threatened to take him to court and he offers us $200 for a $1800 but lied about that too.

Just purchased a used car and had a small issue and spoke with a manager his name is Justin Hardin who was rude and dismissed my concerns and didnt care what so ever. I will dread going back even for service on my used car. I recommend not going here and go to a place that values customers.

I wish I didnt have to give this place a star at all. Went by there yesterday to look at a vehicle we had seen. We thought we were going to someones house because the pics of the vehicle were taken in front someones house. The vehicle was listed at a certain price and when showed up at the car lot the vehicle was listed for another price. Justin tried saying that the vehicle we saw online was sold over the weekend but it wasnt it was right in front of us. We looked at all details of the vehicle in all the pictures and everything matched right up to the little emblem on the back lower right side of the tailgate. My husband asked what happened to the radio and he stuttered and said someone broke into the vehicle the night before. We then looked at a few other vehicles and none of them had radios as well and his answer was someone broke into them either the night before or over the weekend. My husband is a car guy especially the one we were looking at and knew exactly what questions to ask and he couldnt answer any of my husbands questions without stopping to think about what to say, stuttering, or just avoiding the question all together. I HIGHLY and STRONGLY urge everyone to stay away from this place. They are scam artists.

Purchased a vehicle from DRIVERS EDGE aug2015 i paid the owners of that business DEAN and VELDA FOLKNER 4250$ and i received bill of sale. They said title would be in mail for me and j never received when i called Dean back he said i had to Pay justin at CAR KING and i said no i did a private sale so i am not sure why your charging me for my title and he said I OWED him money! When i had never even heard or nor dealt with this guy ever before!! Long story short both these ADULT MALE LOSERS were giving me run around so I took it the STATE OF TEXAS AND THERE WAS AN INVESTIGATION STARTED AND LET ME SAY THIS BOTH PARTIED WERE AT FAULT AND RECIEVED FINES (details idk of) AND GUESS WHAT JUSTIN HAD TO PAY FOR MY TAX, TITLE, and LICENSE AND GO GET MY TITLE AND HAND IT OVER I FRONT OF INVESTIGATOR! SCAMMERS BELIEVE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS FOR SURE!!! The good one look like someone got paid to review! Do not go here ever there is so many dealerships in lubbock that can help DO NOT GO TO CAR KING OR DRIVERS EDGE!!!

Went to look at a vehicle from this place and the mileage was not as represented. It showed to only have 143k and once we submitted the car fax we found out that it actually had over 200k on it. When we mentioned this to the owner he became defensive and even insinuated that car fax was wrong. After reading the other reviews Im glad that we chose NOT to purchase here.

We had bought a car here 2 years ago and never have received a title! Call and call and nobody ever answers the phone. Go down there and they give you the run around and say they will get on it and mail it to you and we never have gotten one!

Bought a truck from them and they knew the transmission was going out. Will cost $1000 to replace and they are unwilling to even pay $500 towards the repair. The guy knew it was bad and admitted to that on the phone call.

Purchased a vehicle from Car King, paid cash. A month later they still have not provided me with the title to the vehicle due to the dealership owing money to the auction house where they purchased the vehicle.

I haven’t received my plates and I was told that I was 2 weeks after I bought my truck it’s been 1 month and a half and they keep ignoring my calls really bad place to go I hope everything but the worst for these guys
