Halfway across the country on a trip and my car won’t accelerate passed 50 anymore. I called Manny’s 30 minutes before they closed in a panic. They didn’t hesitate to allow me to come in. They stayed almost an hour passed closing time to help me. Beyond grateful for their kindness and help.

Jesus, the owner is a fraud! He told me to bring the car back Monday so he could finish diagnosing my A/C problem. When I came Monday, he said he need more money, and still may not be able to find the problem. All together he wanted $240 just to diagnose an Air Condition issue. WARNING: STAY AWAY, BERCAUSE HE WILL TRY TO GET ALL YOUR MONEY!!!!

Took it in because I thought it was the starter. Jesus said it was the motor and would cost more than $3k. When I went to pick it up I wanted to speak with a mechanic and the receptionist said no mechanic was in, sketchy right? So I took it to butita bros and they told me it was the starter and cost was actually very cheap. Do not use manny’s they are sketchy, liars, unprofessional and lost many professionals business.

I would highly recommend this place they only told me about what I already knew to be wrong with my car and not other unneeded maintenance like most shops do and I expected the job to take a few days they had it done the next day and did a great job both times Ive brought my vehicles there.

My experience at Manny Auto Repair Services was outstanding. Jesus & his staff give great customer service and I was very pleased that they were able to fix the issue with my car. I went in hesitant and came out trusting them fully. I really appreciated how honest they were and helping me really understand what was wrong with my car. Expensive but worth it.

When the put the calipet housing on they left out 1 bolt and the other bolt was lose. Could have caused a accident.I will NEVER go to Mannys again and I do Not recommend them.Also...when the mechanic got into my car he left grease or oil or whatever all over my steering wheel and door panel. Not very professional..paid $700

My daughter was just there for a oil change and diagnostic check paid 200$ car did start and then they parked it and car didn’t no longer start.Oil light was on and battery light Mechanic came out to charge it nonthing.So we ask for a tow there is a new people working there he told me we don’t have tow truck and what do u want me to do about it.I have dealt with manny’s for years never been disrespected like this.My grandson was screaming in the car he told us to wait and he will call around he don’t know how much it’s going to cost or where she lives.I have gotten tows for other cars I own from manny’s no prolbem.When I asked for the owner to call me he was like I know him for 20 years I just wanted to speak to someone that will help us gsss.Never again I’m done.

They were great! My Saturn broke down and they immediately figured out it was the timing chain kit, and they had it replaced and ready to be picked up within 48 hours. Very reasonably priced.

Most horrible experience EVER! I Took my car in for grinding in the front brakes. They assured me it did not need front brakes, but only back brakes and rotors. The said the front pad which was grinding just had a rough edge and that once they sanded in down in would be fine and would quiet down, and that there was plenty of pad left on it. So I pay them the $225.00 they ask for and they send me away. One week later I go back telling them, the grinding is NOT gone and seems to be getting worse. They look again, tell again the brake is fine and say they will grind it again. NO DIFFERENCE. So a couple of months go by and it is getting worse and worse to the point of, now when I go to stop the brake on the car skids. So I take it back today (4th time). I tell them the car is not stopping right, the brake is skidding and grinding like crazy. The dont bother to drive it, they simply tell me the same thing they have told me the other times I have taken it back, and send me away.So I take it over to Merlin 1000 Mile Shop on Riverside (some of the most honest people I have ever dealt with), and he tells me, there is an extreme had spot in the brake pad and it has scored the rotor (in other words taken a chunk out of it.) So all this time, since they WOULD NOT replace the pads like I tried to tell them it needed, it has cause WAY more damage to my car, and is going to cost Way more money to fix.So I call them back and ask them to help me pay, to get the damage that the problem being let go for so long has caused, and they absolutely refused, and even got positively rude and nasty about it. They even had the audacity to say Merlin was just trying to make money off me. Merlin has always been one of the most honest companys I have ever dealt with. The only reason I chose to go with this one in the first place, was because they had everyone else underbid by $100, and now I know why.They are uneducated, dishonest, They bold face lie when they talk about promising customer satisfaction, as that does not exist here at all. I told them, I doubt very much that they care at all, but that if they didnt help me make this right I was going to put reviews up telling what happened, and their reply was, Go right ahead, you wont be hearing from us.to which I replied, I have no doubt of that. If I could be allowed to leave a No Star rating, I would. I have no doubt these other reviews have to be from relatives or people they know personally. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, I PROMISE YOU WILL REGRET IT!

4,000 for a new transmission. They put in a faulty one so my car broke down on the way to work, I had to walk the rest of the way. They charged me to tow the car because THEIR transmission that I paid 4K for was bad. Months after that, my Engine light is on for transmission code. They tell me it’s not that. Then a week later my transmission valves are mysteriously leaking. 4,000, 4 visits, transmission issues still not fixed.

They rip you off took my car in for a gasket change and then oil change they found oil leak from filter case. They still charge me for the whole job but they didn’t do it. when I got home oil was dirty and the gasket was still the old one never replaced. thanks for ripping me off $700 beware these Mexicans have no integrity. Do yourself a favor go somewhere else in less you want to be ripped off!!!!!!

Took my car to Manny for my brakes and paid $288.00 for them to take care of my back brakes and rotors. They fixed them and two days later both my rear wheels are smoking and every part is broken in my brakes because they did not fix it correctly.It was absolute bullshit and I would NOT recommend going there EVER.

I personally think mannys is the best in Rockford ! Brian a great guy and I really appreciate him... They are the most honest guys in the Rockford area ..they will make it convient for you and they truly care .. My car is perfect now, runs like its new !

Brought my car in for transmission work bought a used one with a 90 day warranty and it broke down in less than 2 months but since I went on a vacation out of state they gave me the run around on a replacement transmission left me stranded total ripoff DO NOT USE MANNY FOR ANYTHING still stuck what a waste of a usable place for a mechanic shop

Thieves!!!I am a small business owner so I took my work truck to Manny Auto Repair because they are a small business that advertised on facebook. I left my wallet in the truck and when I came back $200 cash was missing. When I asked the boss about it he said he didnt know anything about it. I filed a police report against them. Dont trust them they are thieves.

Fixed problem went in for but got it back with problems and issues it didnt have before not satisfied at all for what they charged me

I asked them to check out my moter and to see where a knocking noise was coming from they put a catlayic converter on and charge me $1500💸👀🤔and the car was still knocking and I took to them 3x I asked them in the beginning if you cant fixes it let me Kno they said they could but didnt😠so now I out of $1500 and still didnt get my car fixed👎
