Referred by a trusted friend, price point was great, product was very nice. The installation and follow up communication was a joke. Sub-contracted work.Installation crew was a sub-contractor that did not seem to care about much other than getting in and out. Work was left incomplete, but billed completely. It has taken me countless phone calls and 80 days, no exaggeration on that time frame, to get the work to complete. The complete work is junk. Sales person bid $600 for a custom attic door that ended up being OSB board on hinges (photos). The materials look like they were just laying in the back of the truck when they happened to be forced to finish the job to just shut me up. Hinges had 3 screw holes, they used 1 screw (photos). 80+ Days and the sub-contractor had to come by the house 3 times to measure, just felt like lies on top of excuses.Poor quality of work, extremely poor quality of communication from Caleb - the supposed installation manager, extremely poor customer service from the installer who became indignant and argued with me about the job quality, blaming Window World. 80 days from installation to completion, if you can call it that. June at the office was the only redeeming factor, she was very kind and would always take my calls.DO NOT USE. Weve started to refer to getting screwed over as getting Window Worldd.Go with Home Depot, at least you might get a call back, Im still waiting for mine...

This is the 2nd house where I’ve used Window world for replacement windows. I was only able to replace a couple of the windows to start, and so impressed with the overall update I can’t wait to replace the rest of the windows! The installer did an excellent job. Will continue to use this company, every interaction has been great.

I will use Window World time and time again. They put in the best quality windows, more than I imagined. I didn’t dream they were going to look as good as they did and they certainly surpassed my expectations. I am super happy with my new bay window. Estimated delivery was 7 weeks which was going to be April 1st. My window was delivered and installed yesterday Mar 26th. I love my window and would highly recommend Window World of Louisville. My old window was broken and the salesman gave me three options, fix the glass, replace with regular window, or replace with bay window. I have always wanted a bay window. So I treated myself! This is happily our second time using Window World to replace windows. Their price for the quality is great! We got an estimate from Pella and of course they were more expensive, but we can’t justify using them when we can get this product for nearly half the cost and be completely satisfied.

We ordered windows and a door from Window World of Louisville in September. We were told at that time it would be 8-10 weeks so that was no problem. The windows were installed November 29, however, we were told that our door wouldnt be in until mid-December. After the windows were installed we called their office to address the fact that they made us pay in full even though the door still wasnt in or installed and that their technician damaged almost EVERY window frame in the process of removing the old windows. While the new windows do look amazing, the fact that there is damage that was not pointed out to us at the time the technician was here is terrible.It was agreed that when our door was installed the technician would be able to address our concerns with the damage. Well our door took over 2 weeks longer to come in. We were told on multiple occasions that a manager would be calling us to address our concerns. A manager has yet to contact us. The technician is finally here today installing our door and guess what??? NO ONE TOLD HIM ABOUT OUR DAMAGED WINDOW FRAMES!!!! So yet AGAIN we are stuck with damaged window frames and no resolution from this company on how they are going to correct this!! While their product is nice, their service is TERRIBLE!!!!! You have to leave multiple messages to get anyone to call you back and then when you do finally get someone one the phone they cant help you.

Used them people for my windows. They did a good job. Tried to get them to give me an estimate on siding. After 10 calles on different days I finally get a person to set up a visit. Get a call that he will he about an hour late..first appt is at 9am so why are you late. Office staff confirmed first appt is 9am. After salesman gave me the run around about how his first appt ran long and thats why he was behind.

Do not use this company! Complete Sham. Ricky asked me to pay the final invoice before completing the work. I paid him the last $5,000 and then we havent heard from him since. This was 7 months ago. He never returns my calls and I call/text him nearly every week to check the status. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I will take this post down if they come complete the project but never will I use them again.

Window World replaced 10 windows in our rental home. They did an excellent job. They arrived on time, installed the windows in six hours, and removed all old windows and debris. They took special care while working in our home. The workmanship was excellent. I obtained 3 different quotes and they were the least expensive for identical windows and a better warranty. I recommend them to anyone needing replacement windows.

We’ve just used Window World to install two windows and a sliding door in our condo. There was a little delay in getting our order in but they worked with us and gave us a little discount on our order. The guys did a great job on the installation and the windows and door look fantastic. We’ve gotten several good comments from people in our neighborhood. One lady that just had her windows and door replaced a few months ago by another company said she likes ours better! All in all a great job by Window World!

One of the windows installed from a window World has failed. I called 3 months ago.....nothing. I understand with the pandemic times are difficult. I get no call back. I have left several messages but get no response. If I was buying new windows they’d be here in no time. Unprofessional and bad customer service.

We have used Window World of Louisville to replace our windows when we bought our house a few years back and recently used them again to replace a sliding door in our dining area and well never use a different company ever! Ben is the guy who worked with us and he told us everything we need to know about their products and gave us honest opinions about pretty much everything we asked. They installed our new sliding door right on time before it got cold and we can seriously tell the difference when we walk near it and we can no longer feel the cold air coming in anymore. The Window World sales person was very knowledgeable and professional. The windows were installed by a crew who were personable but got right down to business. We had to call to get a couple of windows straightened, but the guy came out practically immediately to take care of it. We love our Windows and plan to order the other half soon! 2 stars because the estimate and payment times were on schedule and fast. However, this was for ONE window, at ONE rental property I own. I had Americas window install a sliding door and 3 windows at another and, not only did they do the estimate a couple weeks after Window world AND allow me to do half and half payments, but the window and doors have been installed for over 1 month, still waiting on Window World.will never use this company again, and will be requesting some sort of discount next time we speak.

Window measuring appointment guy decided to be early to measure window when I want there yet. He set off my yard alarms cameras and I seen a random person in my yard so I bolted home while calling cops. No one was there when I got there in 10 minutes, while calling of the cops I started getting a phone call repeatedly from the same number. After dealing with cops, I finally answered the phone to the window measure guy.The next point is the window is completely covered with plywood. I confirmed it was him, gave him some word for coming into my yard without permission and asked him if he got the measurements he needed. He said yes and I said I dont know how because there is a piece of plywood covering the whole window.He confirmed he did, with plywood on window.Well, 8 weeks later the window they built for me is the wrong size. I called to complain and they said they would send me a $100 check and rush the new window. 6 weeks more and the window was installed nicely.Now over the 3 months I used paying off the window, I called twice asking where the $100 check was and they kept telling me it will be taken care of, they did have the note in their system.Finished paying the window off Nov. 1st and still no check, so I called again on Nov. 11th. Check still has not been sent but the women I talked to said that she is the one to take care of that, no one ever told her, and the computer file said nothing about it. She then checked the paper files and found the note wrote on that and it had been filled away complete. She said she would take care of it and I will see the check by Nov. 15th. Heres hoping shes telling the truth.In summary, you need to know a little about what youre getting done or they will not serve you right and micro manage the hell out of them.

My experience so far: I needed to have a very large picture window replaced on the front of my home. I called to set up an appointment, receptionist was scattered and sounded very disinterested with earning my business. I can only guess that because they are the cheapest option that they work in volume and therefore do not need to impress customers. Appointment was set and the measurement appointment went fine. Waited around 5 weeks for window and frame to be made. Received the call that my window was ready and set up the Installation date. Installation day arrives and the installers begin the job. One of the installers is a foul mouthed, chain smoking jerk. Smoked while installing my new window so in and out of the house. I noticed that the newly made vinyl frame was damaged and cracked and that the installers were basically trying not notice the problem. I showed them the damage and they hummed and hawed about having to fix the issue. They then partially installed the window untill the new frame could be made... Another 3 weeks wait with an unfinished window. Was given no compensation for my inconvenience. Come to find out that all of window worlds installers and sales people are contractors so you will not get a window world employee. Today: window is finished and the installers beat the crap out of my new window. Gouged and dinged the new vinyl inside and out that I now need to fix on my new $750 window. Would not recommend to anyone. Update: I have now also found that my window was installed not level and not square, resulting in a window that will not lock and is hard to open.

My husband and I just had 9 of 32 windows installed today. Not only does the living and dining room feel so much cooler, theyre brighter and quieter than before. The installers were on time, very friendly and didnt leave a mess. These windows look fabulous.Just had siding added to my dormers the house is beginning to look beautiful, more work needs to be done, with WW help eventually my home will be beautiful.. thank you so much WW

Really super showroom. If you need to see, touch and feel options that are in place, its a great experience. Each office has different windows and doors on it. The staff is super helpful and patient. I will definitely be using them in the future for other projects as well.

I have had a very good experience with Window World 2 times. I couldnt replace all my windows at once, due to cost, but each time the installers were very professional. I am considering having an estimate for a door later this year. Would definitely ask for estimate from them.

Ill begin with the no pressure sales person. My wife and I never felt like we were the sales persons last ditch effort to make ends meet. He was very respectful of our time and presented us a very convincing product. He did not over sale the product nor did he set unrealistic expectations for the company.I was called within the time frame given by the sales person to schedule the installation. When the installers showed up it was obvious the lead person was in a lot of pain. They ended up having to reschedule the installation. When I had to miss a day of work and not have the windows installed, Window World provided a positive resolution for the trouble.Three days later the windows were installed within three hours and they are just as the sales person said they would be.A few days later, I noticed two of the screens had small holes. I called the office to report them and within a few days the installers had them repaired.We are very pleased with Window Worlds product and service. We anticipate calling them again when we are ready to replace other windows in our house. Thanks Window World!

Initially Window World had done a good job at a house that I previously owned. This was several years ago. Naturally I decided to go with them when I needed some new windows at the house we currently own.On this job, I was less than satisfied and no one has contacted me about the situation. Two old windows were left behind, some of the woodwork was scratched up, and the installers forced a window that was not properly measured to a window frame. My husband said that the installers were careless and indifferent. We paid quite a bit for the ninewindows we had installed and should have received excellent serviceeven though our house is an older fixer upper Everyone should betreated equally.Of course we will need to replace other windows later on, so we will seek out a competitor for our next project. There are plenty of window companies that would like to have our business.

I had a quote done and dimensions measured, and told them I would consider it.When I called to schedule an installation, they sent out their same representative. When he got to my house, he did not have the window. He was there to take measurements, AGAIN. so I took time off work twice to have dimensions measured twice. He said the window would be ready in 7 - 8 weeks. Around 9 weeks, I had not heard from anyone, so I called to ask how long it would be. They said another 4 - 5 weeks. WHAT?? When were you going to tell me about the delay?? They said that they had a high demand right now. Thats fine and all, but you could have at least told me....When they finally came to install the window, my wife was there, I was not. They damaged my window frame, knocking it loose from my wall, and chipping paint off the frame. I called them to complain and they sent out someone to check it out.The guy used a nail gun to repair the loose frame, and said that he would send out a painter to touch up the paint they chipped away. I never heard from them again....Throughout this whole process, customer service on the phone was also terrible.WINDOW WORLD SUCKS. I will never use them again, Id rather pay a little more (and thats saying something, Im a cheap skate)

I was so pleased with my first experience using Window World that I am using them again. My salesman Tom Logsdon was professional, educated on the products, took his time in assisting me in my choice of products and did not force anything on me that I did not want. He even remembered when he sold me the first products several years ago! Window World products are quality made and their customer service could not be better!

Window World has been great. Our new windows kept the cold air out in the winter and the hot air has stayed outside on the hot days so far this season. We can tell a major difference on the bright sunny days over the windows we had before. The price was less than the other companies we looked it too. If anyone needs new windows or doors do not I repeat do not use Window World Ive been trying to get a new door for my mother since June of 2018 yes June of 2018 I am so tired of their lies and telling you theyre going to do this and do that and they dont do a thing. Theyve supposedly ordered the third door and they ordered it the wrong color didnt cross reference colors from one company to the next was supposed to mail her color swatches last Wednesday its now Tuesday and no color swatches Ricky the general manager was supposed to mail them to her he says he mailed them last Wednesday . He was going to get someone to drop them off to her house today as of 7 p.m. no swatches Im going to have to contact an attorney because Im really tired of messing with him just thought Id save you a lot of headache I would never ever use Window World again and Kim Foster the owner of the franchise she wont even call you back!!!!!! Ive called corporate several times theyre going to talk with them they were even supposed to call me back never even heard from them since August. Called Wave 3 to see if they would investigate it guess they dont care to investigate never heard back from them. Next step is to talk to the attorney tomorrow tell him to proceed with the lawsuit

Paid for windows and shutters! Had windows installed still waiting on shutters!! Did I mention it was over 5 years ago! Every time I call I get a BS answer! I’m glad I still have my contract because I will be contacting someone to be compensated!! This is ridiculous!!!

I had a great experience with Window World. They came to my house to take measurements and go over the various options. They had tons of pictures to help me visualize certain options. We executed the order and my new windows were placed into their production queue. The actual anticipated delivery/installation date slipped 2 weeks but Id rather it be a little late than have a rushed job and have problems later. The windows showed up, were installed and we love them. We get compliments on them all the time. Its been about a year since they have been installed and have had 0 issues with them. I recently learned about a rebate program at LG&E. I called up Window World and they immediately sent me all the necessary forms and labels to provide LG&E to take advantage of the rebate. I also like that if/when we go to move, the window warranty transfers to the new owner. It is great to know Window World stands behind their product.

After several strong storms that contained hail I called WW to check my roof and gutters for damage. A gentlemen was sent out who didnt even get on the roof. I was watching from inside and he sat in his car for about 20 minutes and then knocked and told me he couldnt find any damage.He then proceeded to give me an estimate to replace my roof which was crazy considering the size of my house. He said my roof didnt have any damage but needed replacing. He quoted almost $7000 to replace just the roof. I then got two other estimates and they both found damage and sent pictures to my insurance company. I ended getting the roof replaced on both my house and garage as well as the gutters for under $5000 which my insurance paid.They thought I was stupid enough to fall for their scam. I wouldnt recommend these people to work on a doghouse.

Two of my fav things about Window World:1) the scheduling is so easy. We use them on our rental building, and they are experts at communicating the right way, with tenants directly (since that works best, but other companies cant seem to manage this) and making the scheduling work2) their warranty! I am so sorry I went with these replacement windows. At least my old wooden windows werent trimmed all 4 sides with white caulk. I dont consider 3/8 caulk acceptable interior trim. Downgraded the interior look of every room. I wish I had been told caulk was going to be the most noticed feature of these windows, 11 of these things. WW should get with the manufacturer to design a cover strip to cover the caulk. I wish I had never made the call and will regret these windows every time I look at them.

The installers did not bring the casing we ordered and used holey wood to make the window fit. It looked awful. When i pointed it out he kinda shrugged it off and left said he didnt have an order for casing. Called them 7 times in 6 weeks before someone finally got back to me. Told numerous receptionists my problem and on two separate occasions they said they had no record of it. When the manager finally got back to me he told me no one had told him about my problem. Communication was seriously lacking there!! Manager came out and fixed it in a timely fashion once we connected. Looks much better. Happy with install.

Heath came out and was great to work with. The windows were beautiful and high quality. I thought they were too expensive so I havent purchased any windows. I will have to wait for a big sale!

Very disappointed with window world. Put off having windows installed for years because of the cost. Finally saved enough to have them installed at nearly 4000$ and I am waiting for the third return trip to fix the break metal surrounding the windows that have gaps and corners aren’t square or tight. It looks like someone gave a little kid a caulk gun and said have fun. I would be embarrassed if I were a quality manager for them and my guys were doing work like this. To top it off I’m very low on there priority list to come out and fix what should have been done correctly to start with. Been over a month since originally installed and I’m still waiting for my house to look like I just had all new windows installed by competent minded professionals.

We had new siding and windows installed - they beat the prices of champion and a few others. . . The sales guy, Tom L, made a few recommendations to help keep the character of our house (combo of shake and board and batton) - the end result was a house that looks brand new. . . I couldnt be happier with the sales team, installers, or scheduling

They baited me and then they never communicated the same again. Called great communication and then once I paid deposit was nightmare, install department closes at 3pm, who the hell closes then on a weekday? Then I Specifically told them to communicate through email or text and then they CALL me within a day after the install threatening to put a lien on my property and to go to collections a damn DAY! This is after they never even asked to charge my credit card, which of course my bank declined because I didnt approve it yet. All in all nightmare, product seems fine but everything else sucked.

I wouldnt give this company any of my business or recommend them at all. First they dont answer the phone and second thing - I scheduled a appointment for a estimate and here I sit and wait, 1 hour late and still no call and no show . called them to see whats up and they said there staff is at Garden show and wanted to know if I wanted to reschedule, why would i want to reschedule when you might not show up again ? SHAME ON YOU WINDOW WORLD!!! This company is giving my 77 year old grandfather the run around. Id hate to think in this day and age a company as established as Window World is trying to take advantage of his age. His story goes like this: On June 29th, my grandpa signed a contract with Window World and being the trusting individual he is (and before he talked to me or my mother) paid Window World the ENTIRE amount of the job to have his windows done and columns replaced. When they showed up to do his windows on 8/18, Jeff told him that he was trying to find someone to do the columns, but couldnt find anyone to do it. So, needless to say no columns were installed. Jeff told my grandpa he would take care of getting him his $900.00 back. My grandpa, trusting that waited 3 WEEKS before he called. When he did call on 9/5 Jeff told him he would take care of it and get his check in the mail. On 9/15, he spoke to a girl in the office because he STILL didnt receive a check and they told him his check would be signed and put in the mail when the owner got back from Georgia. Now it is 9/26 and they are still telling him they dont know when the owner will be back but shell sign it when shes in office, well IVE HAD ENOUGH. You are taking advantage of him, and I promise you this $900.00 gone, isnt going to be let go. I think you should NOT ONLY let him come to the office to pick up the check in person but you should at this point offer him a discount on his already installed windows for ALL the trouble you have caused my family. My grandpa is living alone for the first time in 50 years after my grandma passed away and I will not stand for a company like you to take advantage of him when he is vulnerable. My patio sliding door installed by Window World got a leak. I talked to WW on FB, they promptly arrived and fixed the issue.

My neighbor had a roof put on his home through window worlds contractors and they tossed the shingles onto my vehicle in my driveway which scratched the whole side of my truck. Spoke to Rick at window world and he promised his insurance would take care of it. 6 weeks later and after sending in estimates he requested still no progress and he will not answer my calls. Very unprofessional .....

Very well priced and really good customer service. The installers were here on time and did a very professional job inside and outside. They cleaned up and made sure everything was taken care of.

Window World did our replacement windows and sliders on our condo in Louisville. We then bought a house in Jeffersonville and wanted to replace the patio slider with French doors. Based on our past experiences, we called Window World for their reliability and quality...

Would never use this company again. Had an estimate for some siding and guttering to be replaced from wind damage.. It took them 5 months to tell me when it would be scheduled. This was after i had called weekly for information without return phone calls. Terrible service

Horrible customer service to include management and most expensive to boot. They installed all but one window that took several weeks to get installed. Called several time to talk to the management and was told the manager went out golfing, i got called several days later just because they noticed i still owed them money . I highly recommend to stay away from this vendor if not you are in for great disappointment.

Worst experience ever. Tom came to my home and got angry when I said $693 per window was too expensive. He started raising his his voice the ripped up the quote and said he was marking it as a no quote. When he came in he was stating what an easy install it would be then when I said his estimate was high he said it was a hard install. Then we called to complain and a manager was supposed to get back with us and we still havent heard from them. If the salesman treats people that way I wouldnt want to k ow what the rest of the experience would be like.

Who is running this place? Terrible. Absolutely horrendous. Save yourself some time and hassle and spend the extra money for Andersen products and installation.I had to call and remind them that I placed an order for a sliding door with frame. Magically my shipment was in the next day.They installed the products without peeling stickers off leaving no way to remove them. Left a nasty residue on the frame after peeling some of the stickers off, but not all of them Everything was half way done. I was told that they would have to take up some of the flooring to ensure the job was done properly, but turns out they halfway did that too. Temporary fix was a 2x4 to brace the subfloor.Then I find out they charged my credit card twice. After disputing the charge, this was remedied. Glad I check all of my charges meticulously, because it was a card I was no longer using.After all of this, they lost pieces to the door handle assembly and had to order more parts, which shouldnt take more than 2 weeks to get in. 4 weeks later still no part, and no word, from window world. After I call (and leave messages...yes pleural ) I finally get a call back saying they lost one of their install technicians, which is understandable, but how about calling the customer and explaining the delay?So I schedule a time for the new technician to come back out and install parts to the door and handle, which means someone has to be at the house again to let them in. They come and all is well and good, except they have the wrong parts. No one bothered to check all of this before sending the poor tech back out to install the parts. INEXCUSABLE.So now they are fedexing me parts for me to install myself. Why did I pay for installation again?Summary: DONT USE WINDOW WORLD

Paid in full in May and still waiting for my doors to be installed. The salesperson knew we wanted to get windows and doors installed quickly so the house could be sold. Since I paid in full the salesperson has been zero help. I would not recommend using this company. I have been mislead and continue to receive wrong information. I was told the doors shipped fron Indianapolis on the 8th, it is now the 16th and still no doors.

The door installers were on time, friendly, and did a great job. My only complaint is that at least one of the three men was a smoker and smoked too close to the opening/door allowing smoke smell to enter the house.

Neilson and his wife were awesome they did not only a awesome job the were very professional cleaned up no mess was left and I would 100% recommend them to everyone

Installers showed up a couple hours late, which was not a huge deal as they still finished installing 13 windows in about five hours. The guys were professional, and did a nice job before and after both protecting the home and cleaning up post-installation. The main problem occurred when they noticed one of the windows was the wrong size. So after waiting six weeks to get the windows in and installed, another day will need to be taken off of work to complete the job. There really wasnt much of an apology when I called to inquire, just told that this only happens less than 1% of the time (despite the installers stating otherwise). Measure twice, cut once must not have applied. It just seemed to be part of the job humans make mistakes (I get that), but apologies for inconveniencing a customer paying thousands of dollars would seem to be the minimum a company could do when they make an error.

I cannot describe how poor this experience has been. There has not been a single aspect of the installation done correctly. The wrong windows were installed on the front of the house. The correct windows were installed backward. The lock on one window did not work. We have been waiting over a month to get the lock repaired. We have talked to their custom service representative who did not call us back. In theory, they will come next week (we didnt get bumped to top of the list despite the terrible service) to finally complete the repaird.Our builder has also indicated this has been his worst experience and will be the last time he works with them.So far we like the windows themselves very much - but these folks cant seem to get the job done.

I use to have the ugliest house on my block, after many calls to other companies my husband and I decided to call Window World after seeing a commercial. Tom came out to evaluate our house as we were only looking into a new roof. He suggested not only that new roof,but also new gutters,leaf guard,and siding. After the estimates on everything,we couldnt pass it up. He then helped with suggestions on color schems,which Im so glad I took his advice since I wanted dark gray shingles. A few weeks later the guys came out to put on the roof, then a few weeks after that they put on my siding and gutters. Im so blessed that I got such a great team of people who came out to make my house beautiful again. I highly recommend this company to everyone . I will be calling them again for new windows,and anything else they have to offer for my house and garage. Thank you Window World, we love our house that you made beautiful again.
