I love Work the Metal. I especially like the fact that they have a variety of price points as I find it disappointing when I love a store and cant afford anything. I recently purchased my 11 year old niece niece earrings with her initials, a shiny umbrella, and a purse (all of which she loved.) Its a fun place, even if you just want to browse!

Every single time I walk in to Work the Metal, I find a unique gift for a loved one, one of my kids, friends, or myself. Items for the home, holidays, kiddos- a diverse set of books!- kitchen, and bar.

This is the best, most unique store in all of Louisville. I tell all of my out of town friends (and the locals) to visit here! Its a great place to get a gift or something original for yourself. Store is in a cute warehouse in Butchertown, with multiple shops inside. EXCELLENT jewelry thats sturdy, adorable, and affordable. Home decor, clothing, and kids section as well. Staff is beyond friendly and wraps your gift in a cute box, tissue paper, and bow.

Awesome place to shop for unique items, everything you could imagine to choose from. Great little bar with wonderful refreshments. Nice lunch options for a quick bite to eat and amazing deserts. Delicious Coffee, sodas, bottled water and EVEN a variety of wine!!! Whats better than. Shopping with a glass of wine in one hand?You can literally spend hours here. Very pleasant and friendly staff. Wonderful historic building. Highly recommend. Great experience. I was very pleasantly surprised by this place and will definitely be back.

They have a nice array of eclectic items. It was decorated nicely. It was clean. The bathroom was in a convenient place. The staff was very friendly .They give you a nice bag with matching tissue paper. So cute. I love my earrings and my bourbon and smoked salt seasoning. I cant wait to use it.

Place had a lot to look at, from the crazy oven mitts to the cool light switch plates to the locally made candles. I thought it was a bit pricey, but the offered items were definitely not your run of the mill gifts. I thoroughly enjoyed just perusing and even found 3 gifts that I just had to buy for some friends! I will definitely be back when I have a hard to shop for person on my gift list!!

Working with Mary over the phone was easy and fun. She helped me find great gifts for some friends remotely, sending me pictures of selections. Curb-side pick-up was quick and easy...not the same as shopping in this wonderful store, but a great way to continue supporting WTM during Covid-19. I highly recommend WTM!

Attended a special event there for Valentines day and it was amazing. We both thought it was the best, most unique Valentines day wed ever experienced

They have everything from baby items to clothing, jewelry & home decor. AND on Saturdays you can shop while imbibing on $1 mimosas! Its just a fun place to shop.

We love this place! Theres many little shops connected/inside and they have such unique items. We always end up leaving with a few new things. Never, ever left empty handed. Haha.

Love this place, the concept, and their unique boutique items - BUT my major complaint is that they arent open on Sundays! I am originally from Michigan and every time I have family/friends visiting over the weekend I want to take them here before they leave but every time I am re-disappointed when I remember they are closed on Sundays. I could have brought them a ton of business by now for all the times this has happened! I do really love the store though, which is why I always want to introduce people to it.

Work the metal is amazing! They have so many little trinkets and gadgets and accessories and candles and jewelry and clothing. They have sooo many things its hard to sum them up here. You really have to visit and enjoy the ambiance. They also have amazing customer service. Laree is great, she always helps me find stuff when Im there and makes my experience better.

I love the unique finds in this store. The thing I hate is the client service. Staff is not super friendly, and you are not always greeted with a smile. If the service standard improves, it could easily be a five star rating.

This is a great place with lots of different and unique items. I was expecting wrought iron things but was clearly wrong! Lots of creative and unique cute Nick Nack items. Also has a large selection of ladies clothes and a wine bar with $1 mimosas on Saturday. Cosmetic and candies round out an amazing selection of speciality items.

Jack is amazing and is always so helpful, if I ever ask for help he drops what he is doing and helps me!! It’s amazing! I love it here and the fact that this place is rated less that 5 stars baffles me and those people should be kicked off the internet!
