I went in for items and was totally ignored until I left..made a review on Facebook..the reply was in the lines of times are hard & come back...understandable when products and staffing is low..but you cant blame the pandemic on preferences in basic CUSTOMER SERVICE..not once did any of the employees there asked me if I had questions or needed help...Not Jimi approved

After being away from Louisville for 27 yrs, I am home again and had a 60th bday for a dear friend I needed something cool and unique to buy him as gifts.I decided to drop in and man am I ever glad I did!New floor plan from what I remembered 30 yrs ago, but the same amazing variety and quality of items across the spectrum including a small but eclectic stock of old vinyl. If its been a long time since visiting or if youve never been but have always been intrigued, stop procrastinating and do it...youll be glad you did.

Always love the atmosphere and smell of incense. Friendly, helpful staff to answer any questions. They have lots of cool items to choose from, such as posters, stickers, pipes, art and decor. 🤘♥️🤤

I go there every now and then and every time I go I pretty much get the same things—sage, Incense, crystals & maybe a couple of spell candles. There are no set prices for a good chunk of the store. They literally make up the prices as they go. My receipt altogether couldn’t have been more than $6 or $7 and I ended up being charged almost $11. This store is very mediocre & over priced & half the time it’s not stocked. You can definitely find better online or @ Stix-N-Stones.

***Update*** Beside being overcharged $40.24, which the management refused to acknowledge & like I said in the earlier review this establishment does not date their receipts, nor identify what is bought-General Merchandise-is apparently the only key on the cash register. And just one week after purchasing a wooden pipe reveals the poor quality of their merchandise. So many head shops exist, I will never shop @ Electric Ladyland again. It used to be the best, but a wider choice of stores who values customers, honor legit returns, & know how to provide exceptional customer service should easily put EL on notice. This store is a relic, dont succumb to nostalgia.Unlike my past experiences @ this retailer; where friendliness met knowledge, the 2.0 version of Electric Ladyland is very much lacking. When I went in to show the large discrepancies between my receipt (no date) & what I bought, I was 1st met with your lying, then told to provide a date of purchase (again dating the receipt is cost effective, as well as adding return policies. Again, cheap to add to receipts. But no, the onus is on the customer to somehow magically remember date bought. Apparently, this allows the asst. managers to look on their cameras. Look they may, but dont be surprised if no credit/refund is issued.Im taking my buisness where I can trust the employees, & they trust me.

This was my first time in and I absolutely loved it! Staff was very nice and helpful with every question I had. There was a large variety of all your smokes needs as well as lots of other very cool options! The vibe of this place is totally cool and I highly recommend!

I am giving the place 2 stars because it has always been a cool store..... But I have noticed the prices have gone up quit a bit.... The girls are no where near as helpful as they used to be... To where I have been ignored... And I understand It’s a smoke shop but the store always smells like Marijuana... Hopefully they will not close

With a name like “Electric Ladyland” I had high hopes for this store. It’s cool but it was super empty looking and the only crystals they had were tiny tumbled ones. It’s mostly a record store with a few head shop items thrown in.

Bought a small decent green bong well I thought, until the color started to peel off. Notice other reviews that were similar, either broken piece after a months use but HIGHLY AVOID BUYING ANY smoking equipment from here. Overpriced and won’t last long. Just buy online, tried to support local business but just not worth it. Place is nice, didn’t check out the records they had but after my experience I wouldn’t go back.

They have a wide selection of incense, candles, and crystals. They also had a great collection of DVDs, CDs, and records to browse. Awesome overhead music. Overall chill vibe in there. (Also didnt overpay for ANYTHING, everything I saw was very fairly priced)

Went looking for record albums they only had a really small selection mostly was for people who had drug problems. Lots of pipes and illegal chemicals and whatnot. Kind of a disappointment from what it used to be I suppose they have to go with the times. I wont be back

Great deals, usually have everything I need (so no need for extra stops!) and seems to always be one close by. Its always a quick in and out experience. They had hand sanitizer on the counter, masks enforced and social distancing as much as possible.

It’s a cool store which is why I’m giving it a 1 star... but I don’t know what is with their employees. It smells like weed every time I come in there and they never want to help anyone out.

I visited here with family while we searched for handy small stocking stuffers for the holidays! The people working here were very kind and the store offers all kind of cool creative stuff! The picture I provided is of their small incense, which are perfect stocking stuffers and doesnt break the bank! This place is great.

My girlfriend and I went in two weeks ago we bought a D8 THC gummies and the next day I consumed 1. I started to have a bad reaction the paramedics took me to the hospital and was hospitalized for the whole weekend. Police confiscated the gummies as well the night EMS took me.

I used to love going in here, my family have been coming here since the place opened but I will not tolerate ignorance. Both employees that were working were not wearing a mask and were dangerously close to the customers, laughing and leaning towards them. Completely disrespectful. I am very disappointed.

I just wanted cbd products for anxiety and depression and the workers at the counter were very kind and helpful. the products i bought were even at a discount which wasnt advertised but was a great surprise! the cbd flower i got is nice and has a good taste (i vape it). im satisfied with my experience and plan to come back!

This shop came up on our search for record stores in Louisville, so we checked it out. We were disappointed at the selection...first off, the records were a VERY small part of what this shop offers...its more of a head shop, featuring a huge selection of glass pipes and other smoking accessories, pot leaf tapestries, black light posters, etc. Thats cool and all, but not why we were there. The records are all used, and many were REALLY not in good condition...several we looked at were scratched up and dirty, yet were priced at near mint prices. Service was not the best, either, unfortunately. We shop at a lot of used record stores, and this was not our favorite.

I used to really like this place, but the quality of glassware inside has really gone down. Ive seen some of the same pieces, or at least the same exact styles, for about 10 bucks on wish where is there charging about a hundred bucks in store. Im not talking about the handmade items either. Everything seems to cost more than it used to, and it all just seems to go with fads nowadays than actually having a sense of style with what you buy. Its pretty upsetting since it was one of the only local places I ever liked for things like this.
