We had a great shopping experience, until...... Me and my children were walking around innocently shopping for clothing and we felt like something was watching us you know that feeling you get maybe when its dark outside and perhaps watching a scary movie, an eerie feeling? That is exactly how I felt... Me and my children were violated just where we where standing at in that exact moment in time, As we were shopping so innocently we turn to the side and then our other side and this person that was staring at us the whole time we where shopping, exposed!!? (We were lucky enough to capture the picture to show.)

Their big and tall section was a wreck the biggest size dress shirt they had was a 2x. They had sketchers on sale buy 1 get one 50% off well they only had 1 pair of 13 and a pair of 9 i asked the manager if there was anything they could do and i was told i had to buy 2 pairs. I worked retail 23 years the correct thing would have been to give me some kind of discount on the shoes they were $70 shoes so the way i would have done it would have been $70+$35=$105 $105÷2=$52.50 per pair of shoes so you lose $17.50 on a pair of shoes and keep a customer and would have got a 5 star review i would have over looked the messiness

I dont want JC Penneys to shut down and maybe they dont plan to but the physical upkeep of the store is lacking. And its sometimes hard to find check out stations.

They were short of employees, you had no one to ask questions. The place was a mess and the employees were not helpful if you had a questions about men sales items. No employees on the second floor. Ask one of the sales clerk about a shirt that was on the sales table, she said that she would go look, she walked a few steps and turned around, did not go upstairs, and said no its not on sale. If that store is like that during the holiday season, i want be back.

I love getting jewelry at JCPenneys and they have wonderful customer service from what I can tell through my experiences. My only complaint with this particular store is that no one ever answers the phones. Ive tried several different departments all day long and couldnt get through to anyone. Even tried the operator line. Im a little frustrated to be honest.

I absolutely love shopping here especially when you get coupons, rewards and great pricing on clothes.

Found some nice clothes at a real good price.

And so obsessed with JC Penneys I could never go in there to just look at always always have to buy something when they had stuff on sale its way cheaper and shopping anywhere else and the quality is so much better and their clothing jewelry choose everything

We found exactly what we needed, mens dress shorts and the cashier that waited on us was very sweet. In and out quickly!

I purchased a $1000.00 ring and purchased the extended plan that includes free cleaning. No matter when I come no one can ever clean it. Told today that machine is shut down. Same story everytime I come. Whats the point of the extended service if its not available 🤔

A very good selection of clothing. Salespersons were few and the cashier was on the first floor. I did find a suit, shirts and ties at reasonable prices. I suppose the Salespersons shortage was due to covid19 and is understandable. Overall a great experience.

Less than a month until Christmas... why are there only 3 registers open on a Saturday afternoon? People are abandoning their selections rather than stand in line behind 40 people! Get people in and out as quick as possible, open more registers!

Horrible customer service. There were some shoes i wanted to buy and the cashier told me i could not purchase them because the company is taking them out the store. I was angry, why were they still on the shelves to be sold if so. Never shopping there again plus all dressing rooms are closed.

I visited the store at Jefferson Mall after work one day, a couple of weeks before Christmas, and I was so frustrated that I ended up leaving empty handed. There was only 2 registers open, and the people working them had ZERO sense of urgency, even though the line was 10 people deep at least. They had it so hot in there that everyone waiting in line with me was sweating.Not only that, but as I started to look around the store, Im seeing 4, 5, & 6 JC Penny employees that are standing behind jewelry and cosmetic counters, and thats the point I put my stuff on the nearest rack and walked out. I guess the employees behind the counter didnt know how to scan a barcode.Sadly, this does nothing to help the ever growing aversion to shopping at physical stores..... Service SUCKS!

This place has went downhill. I still shop there because they always have great deals and a good selection but no customer service. I stood in the men’s suit department for an hour and never seen an employee. And when I asked for help it was pointless. Poor kid didn’t have a clue what he was talking about. The store needs to train their staff better.

You cant use their % off coupons on much of anything, some of the sales are decent but the extra percent off you more than likely will not get so really they shouldnt even offer it because it isnt good on pretty much anything brand name! Easy returns with a receipt! Easy pick up from store but not free ship to store they charge you for that. Not a terrible store but not great!
