One phone call is all it took to run for the hills. Over priced oil change quote over the phone that didn’t even come close to some very reputable shops in town. I guess they are so good they never checked their competitors prices. He sure did explain why they were worth it!! They will do an overall check of the car and give you a quote for No Cost!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I guess I should be happy I’m going to get another ridiculous quote!! I m thinking maybe since I am a female he thought I was ignorant in what a fair price was. I then mentioned I had a coupon on postcard that I received. He said well you didn’t tell me that.No I didn’t !! Because I wanted to see if you were a fair, competitive business. I value my car as a hard working female and I try to be knowledgeable about its maintenance.I just wanted find a closer reputable shop near my home. I guess Turning Wrenches won’t be saving me time or money!!

I received their flyer and gave them a try. They repaired my sun roof, also thoroughly checked out my car and took care of some needed items. They checked with me before doing the work and I found the prices much lower than what a dealer would charge. This company is efficient, courteous, and I have recommended them to several people. The service manager (Michael) was very kind, courteous and prompt after being sent his way by the owner. I was running a few minutes late and he was gracious in allowing me to use their waiting room for some business emails i had to get out to clients . Also, the repairman (forgot his name unfortunately ) took time explaining premium fuels and was a nice touch by showing he liked his career and employer. If I keep this Mercedes, I will use Turning Wrenches again and would refer any client, friend owning a Mercedes or BMW to Turning Wrenches.

I explained what I was experiencing with my vehicle, they scheduled my appointment for diagnosis. I was provided with a detailed report of repairs needed and recommended general maintenance. We agreed upon the work to be performed and the time to complete the it. The work was performed by a precision technician. I found them to be excellent communicators, very knowledgeable and very service focused. I felt like the work performed was at a fair price, I did not feel over charged or that they were doing work that wasn’t necessary. In short, I trust them. I delayed some of the repair and maintenance due to travel constraints and budget, and they were very respectful of my decision. I will be scheduling the remaining work and view Turning Wrenches as my “go-to” Mercedes service provider. You can’t go wrong with this company!

Turning Wrenches is an excellent European Auto Repair shop. They are professional, honest and very good at what they do. I have taken my BMW to many shops before. At these shops I was not allowed to personally meet the mechanic working on my vehicle. These are the same shops I found out incorrectly diagnosed my vehicle.With this being said, Turning Wrenches did the exact opposite. Mr. Brown, the sales representative was very kind and truthful. At one point I asked if I was able to meet the mechanic so we could look at my vehicle together, and he was more than willing to make that happen. In fact, he preferred we meet each other to look over my car just so the both of us were on the same page. It doesnt get anymore professional than this.Just moving here from Florida, I know what Repair Shop I will be taking my vehicles to from now on. My car wouldn’t take gas and was on less than a quarter tank. I wasn’t going to make it home without an intervention! I called Michael and explained the situation. Despite being during their lunch break and me being a new customer, he fit me in. He found a way to fix my immediate problem and they have a 24/7 drop box, so we have a plan to fix the issue permanently. I was only charged for gas for this initial quick fix (getting me home). Wonderful customer service and knowledgeable staff. I never write reviews but felt one was warranted!

Don’t waste your time going to this shop. I had three bad experiences with them. Today was the final straw. Last time I was there for a check engine light, spent over 2k to have it fixed . On the way home from picking the car up the light came on again. I took the car back there and they told me I would need to take it to the Audi dealer. I took it to the dealer and they fixed it. I went for a simple oil change today after emailing with them about getting oil change this morning. I dropped the car off for oil change, called to let them know it was there and an hour later I get a call from someone there that said now they can’t do the oil change bc four cars were towed in from the night before. He said that he should have emailed me back and let me know but I would have to come get my car. Once, maybe twice but it has taken me three times to know not to take any car there. I hope you have a better experience or just go straight to the dealer and avoid the hassle.

I needed an oil change on my Audi A3 and diagnostics ran. I have never had a diesel in my life and they were very helpful in explaining certain things I have never had to deal with before. Appointment scheduling was easy and since I chose to keep it there over the weekend they were kind of enough to take my car to the Audi dealership to fix the air bag sensor recall, however, the dealership was backed up. I appreciate that they would even try to do this for me. A little pricey but that happens when you have a European car. I would suggest anyone who has a European car to take it here. Highly impressed and will definitely come back.

Levi was very professional and maintained excellent communication with me throughout the entire time my car was there. I had a problem with my battery power draining. I went in for some damage to my car from a rock which fell off a dump truck. I tried to work with my insurance and they were not helpful and wanted to put used parts into my car, but the mechanics here helped get me a price under my deductible so I didnt even need insurance. I would recommend them to anyone!!! They did great work for a good price and helped me so much.

I was under the impression that there was an electrical problem with my Audi Q5 when actually it was not that at all but the knowledgeable technicians there had run some diagnostics so I agreed to pay the $404.80 for services rendered....I was referred to Turning Wrenches by another mechanic and was so thoroughly impressed with their consistent and detailed communications....up until the very end...well long story short my car is now apparently profusely leaking oil and they want to charge me for something that wasnt an issue when I had the car towed there. Very disappointed bc up until this point it was a very pleasant experience.I feel manipulated and also that they tried to finesse me to pay more $$ once it was determined that it wasnt necessary to spend the $$ I planned to spend on diagnostics....thought I found a mechanic for our family cars (Audi, Mercedes, Jaguar) but Im extremely skeptical at this point....well I know it costs to drive boss cars and it seems as if their integrity is still intact...even with the minor hiccups I recommend Turning Wrenches bc of their attention to detail

Turning Wrenches has phenomenal quality of work and customer service. My 2008 BMW X3 had the service light come on accompanied by a significant vibration halfway thru the 8hour drive from Indianapolis to Atlanta. Went to Turning Wrenches based on excellent reviews and I clearly found out why. The front desk was very accommodating to the fact we were mid trip and took a look at the car ASAP. They quickly diagnosed the problem and let us know it how long it would take to fix plus suggested a nearby restaurant to eat at which turned out to be excellent. Less than an hour later we were back on the road with a smooth running car. Turning Wrenches also left bottles of water and a bag of chocolate chip cookies as a parting gift. Overall it was the best customer service Ive ever received at an Auto Shop. They have My HIGHEST recommendation.

I feel strongly that the folks at Turning Wrenches are extremely knowledgeable about European cars and can probably do any repair a car needs. They are courteous and explain the repairs in detail. But both times I got estimates for relatively straightforward jobs on my Minis (a new muffler and a thermostat), they were 20-40% higher than every other shop I called. If money were no object, Id be more than happy to bring my cars here always. But alas.

The crew at Turning Wrenches were very knowledgeable with regard to the problem I was having with my BMW. They were able to check the car, order needed parts and perform the substantial repairs within about 48 hours from my initial inquiry. They had some concerns that the original failure could have caused other problems with the engine and they took extra steps to make sure that other damage had not occurred. They did a great job very quickly for me and I would recommend them to anyone who has European car problems or maintenance needs.

That nasty Brake light came on, and I needed front brakes/rotors. What sets Turning Wrenches apart for me is the personalized service of a small shop. Not that the local dealer is not friendly, but dealerships still make one feel you are on a conveyor belt process... I had a couple of small issues that Levi also looked into at no charge, and had a technician take a ride with me to check them out. The tech that road with me knew this car like an expert that just left the Mercedes factory! Im 100% satisfied, and will be back for next service

I was very impressed with the staff when I took my BMW . They delivered exactly what I asked for in diagnosis of what I thought was a transmission problem. Based on their diagnosis, I am going to repair the car myself. I felt what the did for the price of a diagnostic charge was more than reasonable. I felt very sad and disappointed when i took my truck for an oil change at the new location of turning wrenches. First of all, when i got home, i realised the oil was never changed and also noticed that my anti freeze as started leaking. To be honest to God, i drove my truck to the shop without an issue but just to get the oil changed. I came back to complain about the service i paid for but was never done pluse the leakage. My truck was driven back into the garage and i was told my radiator was the one leaking. How can my radiator be leaking after you did an oil change? My radiator never leaked before i came to the shop and after i left the shop it started leaking. I was instantly giving a price of $2,302.80 to fix it and do other things in it. I paid over $200 for an oil change which was never done and now $2,302.80 to be paid again. I took my truck away from them to another shop for repairs and back on the road. I will never go to Turning Wrenches again in my life and will never recommend them to even my worst enemy in life. I felt real hurt and embarrassed with what i experienced with them.

First time customer. After completing an oil change and reading Check Engine Light codes, we decided to remove the oil pan to learn why the oil pressure was too low. Bottom line, the engine in my 2011 Mini Cooper S had finally worn out as metal shavings and plastic parts were found in the pan. They found a replacement engine with 36K miles (mine had 133K) and exchanged mine with the new one. We also replaced the clutch (stick shift) as the engine was out, so this saved me quite a bit of money. Throughout this process, David Stone, the Service Advisor, (and excellent golfer!) called daily to update me and consult on parts that were needed or not, offering me options to keep the cost inline. Although this repair was expensive, this car has been a pure joy and is perfectly suited to my needs. Additionally, it was less costly than buying a new car that might not have been as much fun! I picked it up yesterday and it runs like new. Looking under the hood, it is nearly impossible to tell anything is different. I’m pretty keen on keeping my car clean and neat, especially under the hood! When I got it back it was perfectly clean, outside and in!I can’t thank Dave and the technician who did the work enough for the fine job they did. If you read this and have a Mini, let me recommend you change your oil every 5K to 6K miles. I followed the recommendations of Mini and most oil changes were at 12K to 14K mile intervals. I’m certain this caused the premature failure of my engine. Expensive lesson learned!!Thanks guys...job well done!

My appointment was made quickly and they were on time to receive my car. Friendly and courteous. The interior of my car was protected with cover. Repair was completed and I was notified when my car was ready at the price quoted. I would highly recommend them to everyone. I drove from Georgetown to Louisville to have them replace my drive belts.

Just moving to this neighborhood and having to find a new mechanic/service garage I was hesitant, but my first impression with Turning Wrenches was sincere trust. They are so honest and Steves concern was for me the customer. He explained the situation and wanted to educate me so that I understood the diagnostics. Very knowledgeable, quick, and affordable. I have found my new mechanic. I highly recommend Turning Wrenches. You wont be disappointed!

Scheduled a b service, which that includes a oil change and fluid top off. And checked on other mechanical issues and gave recommendations. Good experience. Got lost going there and had to call to let them know I was running behind and was on my way. I didnt have to wait when I got there. Took my car right in. Not to mention the wonderful cookies and cold bottle of water. Was right on time. I had a 8:00 appointment hadnt eaten or drinked anything. Thank you. Started on them as soon as I got in the car. A few days later call because my car sounded louder. But it was really hot that day. I dont believe my car likes the heat. Besides I believe its the Mercedes new engine, that I dont like. Loud for a luxury car. I can tell the different in the way it sound when its not hot. Nothing you all none. I just thought maybe some minor adjustments had been made when I was in. I was told to bring it back in. But it seems to have corrected its self somewhat. Mercedes need to work on that. I plan to bring my car back in for some of the recommendations. I would recommend them. Thanks again.

One word...Awesome! They have always done a fantastic job for me on any issue that Ive brought to them. This time they replaced a seat motor, tune up and oil change service, along with a complete inspection. Great communications, work done right the first time and done quickly. I cant say enough good things about them. However, I do miss the free cookie....thanks COVID.

Women - this is the place to take your car! As a women going in for car service or repairs, Ive been to my fair share of businesses where the men either speak down to me or are clearly frustrated when I ask them to explain the issue with my car and how they are going to fix it (as if asking for an explanation of what Im paying $300 for is unreasonable?!) or when they try to push me into buying things that my car does not need. I have never had that experience at Turning Wrenches. In fact, I have had the exact opposite experience. My husband and I have been loyal customers for several years. At Turning Wrenches they clearly take pride in doing a job well done. Steve will take time to answer my questions with professionalism and never speaks any different to me than the male customers. They provide recommendations of what issues should be taken care of now and what could be put off, so as to be considerate of your finances, allowing you to be aware of more substantial car service needs that are coming down the road. I have never had a product pushed on me and truly trust the advice Ive received, as Ive never been led astray. My husband and I both absolutely love this shop and wouldnt take our cars any place else.

I have taken my car to get serviced several times at Turning Wrenches and each time has been an excellent experience. All of their employees are extremely knowledgeable and dedicated to excellent customer service. This company also strives on honesty and trustworthiness and will give you the best possible deal for your situation. If you need a good mechanic that you can trust this is the place to go!!
