Had brakes done on my Sentra, noise came back in about a week.Had rack pinion and cv boot etc fixed on Camry (doing they were even messed up the steering seemed fine until American brake messed with it)After they did rack pinion steering gear that was allegedly messed up, it pulled hard to the left. Ask for proof (picture).Then they lied about what was wrong with my Camry saying he don’t know what’s wrong and they didn’t have time to saying if needed a new timing belt, water pump, and hydraulic tensioner pulley. He will try to push work that is big ticket and not needed.Beware: at first he will do small ticket before getting you to do unnecessary big ticket things. There was nothing wrong with my timing belt or water pump or a pulley, it was a cheap 150$ fix at my local mechanic.

Courteous & Excellent Customer Service!!!!! On 1/4/2021 I called to see how soon a mechanic could look at my brakes. Scott told me their availability and I dropped my car off on 1/5/2021. Scott provided me with an update and total cost in which I gave the green light to replace my rear brake shoes & resurface the drums. My vehicle was ready once I got off work. Scott was very Professional with me, yet totally Honest which is important. The price was very reasonable and I drove away very pleased and with a peace of mind that I was able to have my brake shoes replaced. If you are looking for a GREAT service this is definitely the place. I will be a returning customer!!!

I have been taking my Ford Edge here for years and will continue to do so. They are always honest and get the work done quickly. They answer any questions I have and I trust what they say. I have never felt like they tried to sell me something I didn’t need or over charged for any service I have ever had completed there. With them doing more than just brakes it makes it easy to have one place I can take my Edge to no matter what needs to be done.

Well our good price almost doubled. Even after all the money we spent to get it fixed it’s still not running great. We decided we’re done with it! Its really difficult to find an honest and trustworthy Auto Repair Shop. I was given a quote from another Auto Repair Shop (just down the street from ABC) to repair my vehicle. They told me it would cost over $4,000 dollars to fix my vehicle, so I took my vehicle to American Brake Centers on Preston Hwy for another evaluation.Scott was very upfront, professional, very detailed and honest with the entire process. He gave me different quotes to resolve the suspension issues I was having with my Honda Pilot to fit my budget . American Brake Centers was able to repair my vehicle for 1/4 of the estimate that was given from the other shop! Before I took my vehicle to ABC, it was loud and clunky to drive. After they repaired it, my Honda Pilot runs and drives like a new Cadillac. Its very quiet and the ride is very smooth now.I was so impressed, I left my Honda Civic with them immediately to do a full inspection and I was satisfied with the completed repairs which were affordable as well. I will definitely be returning to American Brake Centers often because they earned my trust. They are honest, affordable, and fast. I cant say enough about this place.

Very displeased and I will be filing a claim. I just took my vehicle up to Volkswagen approximately 1 month ago and was told my brake pads were at 4 cm when I just got them changed here approximately 4 to 5 months ago. When I first pulled my car off the lot here at American Brakes it felt there were barely any brakes or there was no work done I took it back to get looked at again and the second time felt the same way. I dont know if used brakes were put on it what but I paid $500+.

Traveling from Illinois to Florida on 65 our car started to vibrate like crazy and I started to see smoke from the right front tire. Got off and traveled a couple of miles to American Brake Center Tom welcomed us and he immediately took the car they diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts from their center across town but he assured us they would stay open until we were good to get back on the road.What a friendly, knowledge place and reasonable!Would recommend it 💯

Scott absolutely went above and beyond to take care of me in a pinch. The AC went out in my car and it’s been August hot outside so, not only did he work me in the day after I called to set an appointment, but he had the job fixed the SAME DAY, when I had a quote from a different shop that it would take a minimum of 2 days to complete. Best part of all- he saved me several hundred dollars from the other shop. Never taking my business anywhere else, and I’ve already recommended him to several of my friends!

Expert advice you can trust. Our company uses American Brake Center to service our fleet of work trucks and I have taken several personal vehicles there as well. American Brake diagnosed the issue and fixed vehicle in a timely manner. When another issue came up that was similar about a week later, they took ownership of the problem again even though it may not have been their issue. They fixed the problem with no charge to me. Very honest and professional.
