This place was great! The service here was great, very quick and extremely friendly. The interior was very nice and comfortable, looked very luxurious. They have a large variety of food and of course the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend and come back soon.
A fun cozy find in the Burbank area! Great for late meals if youre a night owl and want out of the house. Epitome of comfort both in food and setting, sometimes all you need is a big plate of hot battered onion rings, a tall frosty shake, a dinner salad and a few cups of coffee. The owner and staff are lovely, even during the late hours when you expect some tiredness, very friendly. Definitely recommend, one of the few true 24 hour diners in the area.
I absolutely love this place. Its an older diner with amazing service. It can be a bit pricy at times but, I think its totally worth it. The server Sue is also really great she remembers my family when we go. My go to food is the chicken strips and for dessert, cheesecake. The split pea soup is great as well. Love that place.
The service was so fast and friendly. Both my boyfriend and I ordered sandwiches and my meatloaf sandwich was so satisfying! Additionally ordered onion rings(I think the best Ive ever had) and a slice of peach pie to go. Everything was delicious
After running a few errands and wanting to eat breakfast we found this awesome gem. The waitresses were all courteous & polite. Chef made cute pancakes for my son :) the environment was retro & cozy overall. I ordered the BLT which was delicious & husband ordered the Machaca which was great as well.

Im so happy that this place has survived the covid pandemic. They have a nice outside area and they are serving inside. All staff is wearing masks and they clean up after every visitor. Their food is great and they are open 24/7 so it is the perfect place for after a concert, play, movie or party.

Who doesnt love a good meal after midnight? A great diner for people watching and the food hits the spot. The menu has plenty to offer so it should cover whatever youre craving. I also super dig the interior space.
How have I missed Astros? Not for lack of driving by, perhaps it was procrastination.... The feeling of Ill try it some other day. Ill blame it on that. Side note, when you see police motorcycles parked at a food establishment, take it on good measure it will be good. Okay for the review, I was pleased with the staff and food quality and quantity. I did the LA Best burger medium and it was really good. Kids had pancakes and wife went with the fried chicken dinner. They have daily specials and a wide assortment of food options, Italian, Greek, classic diner, etc. Glad to have something like this that is open 24 hours. Need to find time to go back!
Subpar food. They were open for 24 hrs and you could tell by the quality. They served overpriced food! Dont drink a juice, hot cocoa anything. The menu and the food is outdated and they still cant get it correct. What establishment offers a sandwich as a regular breakfast platter and tells the customer to put it together? Stir your own hot cocoa packets please. Either streamline your menu and staff or close the doors. Its a NO FOR ME!! If you read this and then go its all on you.i wish it came zero stars as a option.

I took my family to this restaurant for lunch and decided to give it a try. Surprisingly, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Their seafood specials, as well as their pot roast and ribs, are favorites of mine. The service has always been prompt and courteous. This restaurant and its staff have my highest recommendation and recognition!
Solid all American 24h diner. Good food and service. Dishes come in good portion too. It looks like this place has been around for some time and might need a facelift. But it does give you that old time nostalgic feeling walking into this place. Theres parking right behind it, entrance is on Fletcher Drive.

The food was decent. Typical of what you would find at any diner. However, for the food being served and the quality I will say the prices are pretty high. I went in there on a day I was feeling like a simple diner burger w/fries, no drink since I had my own hot tea already and for that alone I spent over $20. So just be mindful. You will get the diner service and food but the prices are not the diner prices I am use to at all. Maybe its an LA thang, but even in NY the food is not as pricey as it is out here.

First off, its nice to sit down and dine in at a restaurant! This year-long malaise is slowly going away. With that said, going to Astro Family Restaurant in Silver Lake was the best experience imaginable. I think I had the BEST omelette Ive ever had with the ham omelette with cheese. Eggs fluffy not too firm. Copious amounts of country potatoes and toast was not burned to a crisp as so many other places I had breakfast at. Prices toward the higher end of average range, but with how well my meal was made, I could have paid double and still walk away happy. I will be going there again, try their evening menu sometime soon! (DONT GO RAISING YOUR PRICES, ASTRO LOL, just very very satisfied with you guys!

Considering the new dine in restrictions, the service was fast and friendly! They even had trays to put on our car windows as we ate, just like the carhop drive-ins! The food was also delicious and freshly made! Definitely coming back to try their breakfast! They even have beer and mimosas!
First time here, I thought the location was pretty nice. Ordered the Hotcake Sandwich and expected to get a sandwich per title but as soon as I got my food, it was just a regular breakfast plate. No big deal. Pancakes are fine, nothing special. Server is friendly and attentive. Probably will come back in the future but not looking forward to. Very basic diner spot.

This is the only place in Los Angeles that I can honestly say is a proper east coast diner. Its my go to spot. Big fluffy omlettes. Solid sandwiches and dinner plates. I love the chili cheese fries here. Of all the hidden gems to find in life, the chili here is really good.

Place was wack. Completely overpaid for a turkey sandwich. Told them no bacon and they made the decision to add extra avocado when I didn’t ask for it just so they didn’t have to take a couple dollars off of the bill.The sandwich came dry after the server told me there will be mayonnaise inside of the sandwich. For some weird reason even the tomato inside the sandwich was grilled. I personally found that very offputting.It’s pretty much an eating spot for old people who are OK with mediocre food and over paying for it.Don’t bother..

Ordered take out due to the covid-19 regulations here in California but I was able to step inside the building with a mask of course. The building looked extremely well kept and the staff who helped us was excellent. The food was great and plentiful. Definitely plan on stopping by to dine in when the quarantine gets uplifted.

1st timer, with the family. Had Crepes Banana, with Orange pulp sauce and a rice pudding. Should have listened to waitress, she said to much sugar. I replied with should be ok, I didnt put no sugar in my coffee
I was actually expecting a more familial atmosphere but as order came through... just no feeling of comfort. For locals this may be a great place, but even the food steamed a lil pale. Maybe its the area or maybe service and cooked all just not in tune that day, with such I doubt Ill be going back. But as for any one out there, its your world so make your own exclusive experience and you find out. Parking, restrooms and chill time all included with the meal.
