Best supple store Ive been in a while

Having been searching for a specific hair product for months. Finally found it at Sterling. The staff was pleasant. The store was neat and you could tell they are doing their part to prevent the spread of Covid.

All was full . Fully stocked everytime everything is there

Sterling Park Beauty Supplies has been there since the 80s as far as I know. Some of the older women who work there have seen me grow up. They have supplies for men and women. The people who work there are know what they are doing and talking about. They always have customers. They have outlasted a lot of the businesses in this area like ABC Grocery store, Fedco and some other places. Its a good place to go for Hair supplies and some other things. The 37 bus stop is right there on Adams and Fairfax if you are not driving. Go check it out

Large inventory with an array of hair care products for men and women. They also have a variety of lovely wigs and a growing natural haircare section. I also get my Shea butter and make up from them. They tend to let you shop and browse at your leisure. If you have questions Im sure theyd assist.

I drove to this place 5 times in 2weeks, n they never opened at time posted....waited in parking lot extra 10-15 mins n no one came to open store. Drove 12 miles to get there each time

I love going to Sterlings Beauty Supply they always have a great variety of hair products and I love the way they give you excellent service there they always have a good smile on their face and very willing to serve you I really like the way they did they have a point system especially for your birthday then every time you go to get an extra discount not often will you go to beauty supply houses that they have that type of service but it does make you feel appreciated

I was looking for products I didnt know much about and asked if she could help me. Before I could finish my request she was walking towards me smiling with such a willingness to assist. They always have what Im looking for.Update 1/10/19The owner with the strawberry blonde hair do not like or trust black people. I was there yesterday and a young black girl walked in to purchase some braiding hair, the owner couldnt ring me up from watching her like a hawk. I noticed that she did the same thing to the black elderly women who came in. I know from experience that she is not friendly or welcoming but to stare your consumers down as if they are all criminals is not acceptable.If you dont like or trust black people dont open businesses in our community or have a business that is basically catering to black women.Please suggest a black beauty salon near Culver City. I can no longer support this store after witnessing this.

Went today to make an exchange on something I purchased last weekend, I was offered 50% off but not a full exchange. Why would I purchase something again that I now know is inferior! I was also offered $25.00(her cost) however the right thing to do was to give me a full exchange! I will never buy this product from Sterling ever again!

DO NOT SHOP HERE IF YOU ARE BLACK, A PERSON OF COLOR, OR SIMPLY A PERSON WHO DOES NOT WANT TO SUPPORT A BUSINESS THAT USES RACIAL PROFILING TO PROTECT THEIR MERCHANDISEI am giving this place one star because I cant give it 0. I probably had one of the worst experiences of my life by 2 employees here. I visited the shop with my sister and we were browsing around, from the moment I walked in one of the employees ( long black haired Latinx woman) walked over to where we were and asked us if we needed any help. As a black woman, I know this tactic very well (sadly) I knew she was trying to watch us, however, I just brushed it off. A moment later she tells another employee in Spanish watch those girls over there, they keep touching stuff. I am a Black woman so I do not look like I speak Spanish, however, I am a native speaker and very fluent, so I asked her why she said that in Spanish and not English. Because she was also a Latinx women of color, I attempted to take the high road and viewed it as an opportunity to dissect a situation and possibly learn something, but she quickly got defensive. I informed her what she was doing was racial profiling and instead of being understanding she told me to get out and called over another co-worker. This co-worker was a black woman and seems to also be a Spanish speaker, however, she was even more problematic and told me that 90% of shopliffters at her store were black (They have pictures of their shoplifters on the wall behind the registers, all of which are black) and she was just doing her job. She then asked me why I was upset if I wasnt shoplifting, which was even more upsetting because she completely miss the point! They told me to go to Beverly Hills if I didnt want to deal with this...yes they actually said that to me.BUT WAIT THE DISCRIMINATION CONTINUES!I am now extremely upset and I tell them as WOC they should know better and as Im walking out the black employee says verbatim dont make me clock out . Not only did this woman disrespect me, but she verbally threatened me.Its very unfortunate because this beauty supply is local and has an array of products, but I WILL NEVER return! I do not support businesses that employ these type of tactics! There are plenty of beauty supplies in LA that offer a wide selection of products minus the discrimination and racism. I urge everyone to go elsewhere and boycott this place! Dont give your money to people who promote discrimination!
