We took our 9 year old who loves collecting POP figures and he was in heaven! It’s a fun place to be even for grown ups! They have giant pops and themed rooms throughout the building and there are millions of different POPs everywhere. Definitely worth checking out even if you’re not a collector, you’ll definitely find something you’d like!!
This place is so cool! If you are in town visiting the Hollywood walk of fame, make sure you stop in! There are so many cool replicas of all time favorite shows (game of thrones and Harry Potter were our fav) that will take you down memory lane. We were also able to find some cool toys for the kiddos to take back home as well!
A surprisingly fun experience for someone (me) who only mildly knows what Pop Funko even is. The entire store is massive and is created of concept rooms with massive Pop Funkos within their environment. There are many where photo opportunities are encouraged and friendly staff who will take your picture.
Okay I wasnt sure what to expect but this store was SO COOL! So many awesome exhibits with almost any character you could want! They were sold out of some things but they had so much other stuff to choose from! The oh thing that couldve made it better wouldve been being able to make a custom Funko! We didnt even know you could do that until we were there. So plan ahead and make sure you get there early!
Fun place for Funko fans! If you get there super early, you can make your own custom Pop. We came on Sunday, arrived at 8:25am. We got into the bldg around 10:15am. We were 24th in line and they shortly sold out of spots after us. There are lots of fun pop displays to look at whole you wait for your text to come make your pop. Just beware, if you get too far in the bldg, your cell will lose service. All & all a great experience.
The name of the store is definitely suiting. All of the displays are awesome and great for pictures.Be prepared to wait in line. We were there on Sunday and got there just before 10am when it opened. Although the line did move relatively fast in the beginning, we did have to wait about an hour to get in since they let in groups of 20 with the first group being about 60-80 people.
This place is amazing. The line to get in moves fast. When we were there at 1215, they said they were sold out on the make your own pops. The tip was to come right when they open. If you buy 6, it comes with a carrying case. The bags are also reusable and very cute. By limiting the people inside, it makes taking photos with the life size figures was awesome
Easily one of the coolest stores in the world. Pop cultures themed sections all over with the Funko pop treatment. This is a must go if youre in Hollywood and/or love Funko and pop culture. Suggest using their parking structure to avoid parking in any other areas as Hollywood is a bit weird at times (homeless, etc.)
I was in Funko Heaven!! I don’t know who’s inheriting all these Funkos I have but they are getting a lot of good Pops! I think I had more fun than the kids. Go early for the “make your own Funko” they close it early!!! Fun place if Funkos are your thing, kids loved the photo ops, so did I ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
First off. You need proof of a Covid Vaccination card (and have had the shots) to get in (I had mine). But after that it was a great experience. Helpful staff as well. Anything Funko go to this store.
Very great experience to any Funko Pop collector of any stage. They have a wide selection of the various sets. Many unique finds and additional merchandise. Bring your wallet and dont forget to validate. Greatly located right on Hollywood Blvd
Awesome place for kids and IG photos. If you want to create a Funko of yourself try to get there before 9 AM some people show up a lot earlier and get a reservation after 10 AM opening and create yourself for about $25 +tax each. We got there about 8.40 AM waited about 2-3 hours then it takes 20 minutes to pick your customization and another 20-30 minutes for them to make sense pick up your custom Funko. About 5-6 hours total process. If youre there just to check out the place, take pictures and do some shopping you can come anytime. Average Funko POP figurines is about $11-15. They dont have every character.
Really didnt think this was gonna be a big deal but I was proven wrong! Visiting Funko Hollywood is a great experience for the family. Really great looking photo op settings featuring all types of pop culture references. They are all centered around Funko stuff but they are so well done and very fun to pose with especially if you have kids. Worth the trip especially since its free entrance. It will make you wanna buy some Funko.
I came here with a couple friends who really wanted to go who I should bring the Funko pops. Personally me and my wife arent big fans of the squarish heads and generic bodies of Funko pops but we were shocked because we loved visiting this location. We found a bunch of unique Funko pops the ones without generic bodies that are like dragons and stuff. As well as it just being a cool little almost amusement park with a bunch of different themed areas. Our friend signed up to do the create your own Funko Pop which took quite a while which makes sense cuz the line is atrocious for this place we got there at 9:00 before it was open and still were in the line that went around the block. We were there for about like we were there for about 3 to 4 hoursI might honestly consider arriving at 8:30 and waiting out front of the store before it opens.Overall it was a ton of fun I didnt expect to have to definitely check it out especially if youre into Funko popsAll the normal Funko pops were like 11 bucks so definitely worth it I feel like theyre more expensive at other locations
The Funko Hollywood store was a fun destination to go see with the family. It was Saturday, so the wait to get in was about 50 min. The staff is very curious and professional, and the store is fantastic. Funko creators did an awesome job with each of the various themed sections of the store. I highly recommend this place!
This was an absolutely amazing experience. I HIGHLY recommend it! Very family friendly, and a lot of adorable charecters! You can even make your own PERSONAL Funko Pop! To make it look JUST like you!! Mine turned out so cute and it only cost 20$! Super fun! But one piece of advise I have is to come early so you dont wait in a long line...I do also reccomend putting your name on the list (to make your own figure) as soon as you get in the spots fill up and you might not have a chance to make one. Anyway, this was an amazing experience, with so many themes such as, horror, star wars, marvel, DC, Disney, Stranger things, and SOOOOO much more! I had so much fun as you can see below 🤣. I hope you have as much fun as I did!
Everything about this place is awesome! If youre a Funko Pop! Collector, its a must visit. Its everything youd want to see there and buy. Im definitely going again.
Must visit for any Funko fan! Over a half dozen themed areas including Marvel, Harry Potter, DC, anime, Disney, etc. with displays, life-sized Funkos, and lots of Funko pops to buy. Definitely need to plan ahead and get in early to do the Pop Yourself, as those seem pretty limited. The line to get in on the weekends is pretty long, but they let in a large group at a time, and the line management seems to be pretty good. They also enforce wearing face masks indoors even when taking pictures.
Hands down one of the best experience I ever had next to Disney world. When you first entered, it’s like the world of the nerds was welcoming me home. Hubby is funko lunatic, he have so much funko that I even lost count. This was our first time here and let me tell you why it was special. Hubby decided to spend his 31st bday here and enjoying ourselves. The only thing that didn’t go as planned was we couldn’t make our own pops. It’ll be a while until we can visit Cali together again. I hope one day we can go back and do it once at least. Be prepared to wait in line though… the line was wrapped 3 blocks. Until next time!!! Peace
The only complaint was the long line but its better than the store being really crowded at this time. Fun place to visit and the staff was really friendly. This was my first time going so it was cool to see all the giant sized Pops. Plenty of Pops and sets to take pictures with. Its right across from the new Amoeba music. A lot of inventory and some exclusives. If you go early enough you can make a pop of yourself. Thanks Funko crew
Pop culture, where you can create a pop culture doll that looks like you, but only in person. They offer other pop worlds to explore.
The line was long but it does move fast so youre and out in NO time. There are a ton of things to see and buy here!!
Aside from the hour long wait to get in, Funko was lots of fun. Next time we want to make the custom pop.
So fun! The kids loved every room and corner in the store with photo opportunities, merch and displays. Its a must stop for every Funko fan or pop culture nerd.
This store is so awesome! Its huge and immersive and just so much to see inside. Will def be back and soon.
This place exceeded our expectations and made the drive from SD totally worthwhile. We knew to expect a wait to get in so, we arrived before the store opened. Once open, it took us about an hour to get into the store because they do limit capacity due to COVID however, thanks to the associates they have managing the line, we were already in the queue to customize our own Pops (the primary reason for our visit).Once inside we were amazed by the size of the store, there was a different themed room at every turn and it was fun to see and take pictures of the life size characters displayed about the store. There is something here for everyone and they have thousands of Funko Pops for their standard $11 price. Customization at the time of our visit was $25 per Pop but well worth it as each character also includes 2 props. It made for a very fun day trip with my 15yo son.
I love this place! The kids had so much fun!
We went when it first opened before the pandemic. It was so much more fun. We were all able to take pictures in the vehicles and with all the giant pops! Such a cool place. The kids love browsing around. Definitely not too expensive.
It was so big. Definitely a lot to see. My kids took photos with the huge Funko Pops they had displayed. Its a mini Funko heaven. Youll definitely find some pops and without realizing spend a pretty penny. If you have the funds then its worth going. Especially early to make a your own Funko person.
If you love the collectibles this place is for you. Such a great place to just walk around. Although we made many additions to our collections.
Please be prepared to wait in line outside for at least 15 minutes or more depending on when you go. It can get really busy but the wait is worth it. If you are a pop culture fan and love collecting funko pops this place is a ton of fun. The store is divided up into interactive sections for marvel heroes, Disney, horror, hana barbera cartoons, starwars, game of thrones, anime, and more. We spend a good hour just looking around and picking out our favorite funko pops including some exclusive ones. Masks are required at this location but you can pose for pictures which I highly recommend. The lighting and music changes with each set which really helps immerse you into each cartoon, show, movie ect. Absolutely enjoyed this experience!
I saw a TikTok about FunkoPop Hollywood a few months ago and finally was able to come experience it in real life. Be sure to get in line no later than a half hour before opening to make sure you can get into the create your own funko line before they stop letting people do it. For us, we got in and then they stopped doing custom pops about an hour into opening. Super cool shop while waiting around though. The whole experience lasted about 4 hours. Would go again
OMG .... Such an amazing store, felt like Disneyland. Loved my trip & cant wait to go back.
Custom pops was easy and so worth it. Love seeing all the creative designs
Love this place!! I felt like a kid in Disney. You can spend a lot of money if you are not careful.
Fun location to visit! All ages enjoy it! Lots of photo opportunities! The mystery items are a great purchase!
This store is a dream. They’ve got a little bit of everything from different fandoms and giants pops to take pictures of/with. Aside from pops they also carry so many loungefly goodies including stitchshoppebyloungefly
Great location on Hollywood blvd, line goes quick and huge floor space with lots of cool displays and some limited edition or exclusive merchandise.
Super unexpected experience. Very fun and the kids loved it. I was just sad the make a Funko was closed.
This place is definitely a must for Funko fans! Especially if you cant make it all the way out to visit Funko Headquarters in WA. No charge for admission, but recommend going there early (before doors open) to get into line. Due to COVID protocols, you will need to wear masks the entire time as you explore all the different show rooms and take pixs with the giant Funko characters. They pace the number of people going into the store to ensure room for 6ft distance. We got there 1-hour before the doors opened on Saturday and the line was wrapped around the block. Line moved quickly when the doors opened. We wanted to make sure we got on the list to build our own Pop People ($25 to create and customize). Once they have your #, you can get out of line and return when you receive your text that your spot in line is coming up. It was our first time visiting the store, so we stayed in line (security waved us in at 10:15am) and checked out the store for 2 hours and then it was time to build our Pops! You only get 10-min to fill out the form to build your pops. Was hoping there were pets that you can select as an accessory to add with you custom Pop, but they didnt have any. Prices for the regular pops were reasonable. Would love to return again when masks are longer required... so that we could take better pixs with all the Funko characters.
So much fun!! There are Funko for almost everything you could imagine! I wanted them all! Really good time!
Awesome shop, full of options!
Loved our visit to Funko store gonna have to make another trip soon
It was pretty cool. Lot of neat stuff. They had Star Wars, Harry Potter, Pokemon, honestly youll probably find something if youre into that kind of stuff. Not a huge selection but still really cool. Definitely recommend getting there a little bit earlier so you avoid the long lines.
Great time at the funko Hollywood store. Opened at 10a. I arrived at 830a and the line was curved to the next street. Once it opened the line moved fast. Custom Funko pops were a about 3 hour wait.
Its a must visit for any funko fan! There are so many photo opportunities! you definitely wont be disappointed! I wanna go back so bad! Its fun for all ages and theres so many pops to choose from. I wish I could buy everything!
Such fun displays! There is a line to get it first time I went it was to the corner (past PepBoys). It was about an hour wait. I went to to do the Pop Yourself and got there way to late. Per the store associates, Thursdays are usually their slowest days but if you can’t get there on a Thursday, GET HERE EARLY! The second time, I arrived at 8:30 am (store doesn’t open till 12 😬) and managed to get about 6/7th in line. Parking across the street for The Fonda Theatre is $20 for the whole day. All for the sake of Pop Yourself for my niece and nephews 😂.
Awesome store! Have to be prepared to wait to get in, we waited for about 2hrs, but well worth the wait once we were inside!
10000000000000000000000/100 The first time we went we met Bella Poarch!! Very nice place to visit, the employees were very rude though.
Another place weve driven past and always a long line to get in. We just happened to time it right, 30 minutes before close not a lot of time to wander and shop but we managed a quick trip and was it worth it! So many great photo ops inside and lots of Funko Pops to choose from (everything from Harry Potter to Frozen and all in-between!) Such and amazing store well have to go when we have more time but made the most of our 30+/- minutes by filling up our cart with gifts and taking all the pics we possibly could. Whether you are in the area and swing by or are planning a trip to Hollywood Funko Pop is a must stop and see. Lots to see around as well so plan and make a day of it!
Super fun and cute Pop Store, felt like a museum. Friendly staff!!! :) it was worth the 2 hour wait in line.
With Retail Stores Now Opened in Los Angeles, I got to say Funko Hollywood does not only provide the Best Quality Funko Collectibles & Exclusives, Highest Customer Service Standard but also Securing Your Safety and Well Being. Their Curbside Service is the Best! You will be greeted by the friendly and courteous staff (both e-mail and in-person service). Curbside Pickup Visitors will be assured that they are in good hands and in a very clean, sterile & sanitized curbside pickup environment (and In Compliance with CDC Safety Standards).Overall, My Joy Is Back in this wonderful world of Funko Collecting and My Well Being is Safe in this times of Pandemic. Thank You Funko Hollywood!
We have a funko Problem. Currently we own over 280 of these little (sometimes big) suckers. Gradually thats moved into bags, shirts, wallets pretty much anything pop Culture, its well and truly taken over our life. The funko store is GREAT I highly reccomended it even if youre not yet a collector. The staff are so friendly and personable everything is clean and sanitized and ran like a well oiled machine.Sure the line can be intimidating we normally wait about an hour but every couple of months we make the trip south and always leave with new PoPs for our collection.Theyve recently added the create your own Pops and this past weekend was our first experience and was definitely worth the wait and the cost!
This store is huge and awesome. A wide variety of really cool life size Funko pops. A large selection of Funko pops to purchase as well as shirts and plenty of other fun stuff to buy. You can make your own Funko if you go early. I went into the store an hour before they closed and I wish I had more time.
Loved this place it was on my bucket list its like walking into a museum and a store all in one lots of nice photo ops but I noticed they removed some of there photo op statues hopefully they add them again or add new ones in the future super cute only 2 minor complaints were the line and the fact they dont accept cash hope they reconsider the cash option because we dont all carry some form of plastic payment besides those 2 minor inconveniences the place is funko heaven and great place for all funko and pop culture lovers to come and visit definitely will love to come back 1 day and yes they have restrooms and they are huge and personal
Yoooo! This place was super dope. Pick up some funko shop exclusives! Lots of spots to take pics 🔥🔥🔥
It was an awesome experience.. my little ones loved it!!
This Place Was Freaking Awesome. So Much Cool Things To See. Store & Museum All In One. & Best Part Its Free To Get In. Crew Is Super Friendly & Spunky. All In All Experience Was Amazing Cnt Wait 2 Take My Kids Again.
Love this placeI collect the funko pops so i was in heavenFriendly staff
Amazing place with amazing customer service!!! They are there making sure everyone is safe! Please keep your mask on even when taking your photos!
Amazing store and displays BUT the employees are very rude and unprofessional.Five minutes prior to their doors closing they start cornering customers so they can eventually kick them out in the most degrading way.Pushing people out of your store isn’t good business Funko!
It was a fun and entertaining experience!!! This store has a vast collection of Pops!!!
This place is absolutely a lot of fun! Came to make a personalized Funko Pop!
We had so much fun visiting the funko store. It was totally worth the drive for us.
So being able to go into the store now is a game changer! Being able to walk in and take photos and shop is so so so fun! Plenty of different photo opportunities. It will take HOURS though. We got there before 11 to stand in line and we still didnt get to design our own Pop People until 2, pick it up until 3ish. When you go, make sure you put your name down for the Pop People asap. They were completely sold out of them within a couple hours. All the staff there were extraordinary - so nice and so helpful.
Great experience. Took my neice and nephew and we had a great time. Will definitely be back next time I visit
Great spot if you love Funko. If you want to make your own get there early and plan on going back four hours later to do it. But worth it.
This place is amazing for all the geek fans. The opportunity to build your own Funko and the different themes inside the store make it a great experience.
I have to thanks the lovely ladies at funko Hollywood ! I could not find the one I wanted it was all gone but they had more in the back and had them put them out and handed me one personally ! Great Customer service ! I tried to get name’s to give them credit ! I’m sure they get the not so kind people and I tried to be super polite ! Made my experience better then most !
Go right when they open to get a spot to custom your own Funko Pop! Sadly it was my last day in LA and I couldnt do it... But the store inside was amazing! I loved how life size all the funko pops were and we took pics with everything.
Friendliest staff at any tourist attraction in LA/Hollywood. Really fun store. If you want to have one made for you get to the store 2 hours before they open!
Im like a kid when Im here, and the real kids my kid loves it ..
Great place for any Pop fans selection is good but still limited. The lines for custom Pops was insane waited an hour prior to opening and had been quoted a 2 1/2 hour wait before getting started. Something to note if you just want a custom Pop and dont care about the experience you can make one one the website.
Wow! Everything about this place is amazing! The staff here is great! Always being greeted and they are always generous enough to take pictures of the customers. Just great vibes about this place. Even if youre not into collecting funko pops you should still stop by! A lot to see and admire. You can also create your own POP!
Awesome!! Definitely the disneyland for Funko fans... But the enemy of your wallet, hehe. Picked up some exclusive releases, and appreciated that they inspected the item before handing it to you.Lots of fun Funko Pop deco to see, just unfortunate that during this time of COVID no-touchie times, you cant sit with the scenes for photos.Either way, mecca of the Funko pop enthusiast, added to the must-go-again list.
I want to take my son for his 6th Birthday next Thursday what time do you think I should get there, and is there a long line?
This place is so cool! Make space in your camera roll because you’ll be taking pictures everywhere. Expect to be in there about 1-2 hours. We got here around like 12:40, waited outside in line for like one hour, and by the time we were about to go in they let us know they were fully booked for custom funkos, unfortunately. I’d suggest going 30-60 minutes before they open to get yourself a custom funko. The line was exactly at the corner intersection where the pepboys was when i got there, so at that point its about an hour wait.
If you’re a fan of Funko or simply just want some great photos for social media, the Funko Hollywood store is the place to check out! Admission to roam around the store is free and it’s a chill location for families on Hollywood Blvd. If you spend more than $20 at the store, they’ll validate you for free parking. Funko is also located just steps away from the Hollywood/Vine Metro Red Line. Perfect place for kids and pop culture aficionados; highly suggest if you’re in the Hollywood area.
Clean and safe. My kids and I really enjoyed this place. Found that the staff are really great. Very helpful at finding things and getting things moving along.
It was amazing! It felt like a dream come true! I felt like I was in Disneyland 2.0! Highly recommend this awesome place.
Everyone was very helpful. They were great at keeping everything cleaned and sanitized. Cant wait to come back again and look at their extended sizes coming out soon.
I love this place!! They are awesome!! Funko is just the best thing that has happened to Hollywood in a while !
Bigger than what I thought it was going to be, a whole lot to see and enjoy, I wish I could have built my own funko but it was full by the time I got there, but it was fun just being there
It looked adorable but my daughter and I didnt get to see the whole store. While wearing a mask over my mouth I was stopped by management and asked to wear it up over my nose. I explained that I have had recent surgery (my large bandage was obvious) and it would hurt me to wear it over my nose. Seeing as cdph.ca.gov says that masks are required only for unvaccinated people and lists exemptions for those with a medical condition, I thought the information I gave them should be enough. However, his response was thats their policy. I had no trouble with every other business and restaurant I visited in LA that day. It is so sad that they would hassle someone abiding by the law with a medical condition. Having read other reviews I see that customer service is not their priority.
If youre remotely a fan of anything that Funko makes, you should definitely check this place out! Also if youre looking for something to entertain the kids without spending any money, this is also a great place to take the kids! Theres no cost to check out the many giant dioramas located all throughout the store. Theyre great for taking awesome pictures!
This store is amazing. It is a lot of fun. You can take a ton of cool photos and it is free to enter. You end up just wanting to buy some of the Funko items because it is such a fun store ! We thought we were stopping in for a few minutes and we were there for an hour.
Great. I will stop by again soon.
Went for Funkon 2021. Very unorganized experience as far as having a ticket for the event. The store itself was an amazing time. Very cool picture ops. If you have hours to burn definitely stop by.
I just attended the Grand Opening and this place is amazing! When you enter there is an incredibly cool Black Panther display with a waterfall.Besides the gorgeous photo opportunities, theres more than just Pop figures, they have a lot of bags, pins, shirts, and even some candy.I cant wait to go back on a regular day.
Funko Hollywood is pretty amazing! So many Pop! rooms geared to the many entertainment franchises, across so many genres, that we know and love + lots of photo opportunities and merchandise you won’t see anywhere else. Thoroughly impressed with the creativity and thought that went into creating this place 👏👏👏👏👏 it is in Hollywood, so parking is limited... plan accordingly!
Fun to walk threw and you will buy something.
Funko Hollywood is amazing! Walking through the entire store made me so happy. Lots of lifesize Pop all over the store. The collection of Funko Pop is extensive. Most Pop priced at 10$ exclusives at $15. Prices go up for the bigger Pop. Exclusive to the store only Pop. Many opportunities to take photos throughout the store. There is an area that lets you build your own Pop for $15, me and my son had a blast building our own Pop. Everybody needs to check this store out whether you collect Pops or not. Parking is available in the underground garage thats located underneath the store itself next and parking validation in the store.
Main disappointment is that for make your own funko pop it’s a certain amount they do per day. You have to line up before opening and try to get a spot. Then come back at an appointed time. On the website it doesnt even tell you about this. It sucked that on my bday I drove to Hollywood and all I wanted was this pop and couldn’t get one.
Wow.!! It was like walking through your favourite ride at Disneyland x 10. The store is mega and it was absolutely full of POPs from every theme, team or show that you could imagine and more.. we spent an hour here and there was truly another surprise waiting behind every corner. A must see for any enthusiast visiting LA.
