What an amazing selection of freshwater and saltwater fishing rods and reels at affordable prices! I was blown away by the bargain sale rack of quality lures including Rapalas. I grabbed a handful at bargain prices. I also bought some nightcrawlers. They also sell frozen cut bait. Also, they repair broken rods and reels.Best of all — when I didn’t have enough loose change to pay, the owner still bagged the items.So great such a fishing tackle store is still open in the heart of Los Angeles surviving the closing of lakes and beaches to fishing last year! Great place to look for bargains!

I was able to have my fishing reels loaded with line and have an old pole of my Dads repaired. They also have new poles and other accessories available.

Did not have what I wanted rude telling me put what I had in my hands on the counter all bad and prices have doubled in the last year. Last year the hoop nets Was $26 now they are $45 trash wont go there again.!!

I love this place for my fishing needs and fishing knowledge. The items are priced reasonably and I always find what I am looking for. The advice the gentleman behind the counter gives me has helped me land fish with more frequency. I just let him know what time of fishing I am doing and I get all the suggestions on tackle and what not.

This is a great fishing shop. First time visit and could have spent way too much time chatting with the staff and getting in trouble at home. Thats saying the staff know their stuff and are helpful. Great selection of whatever you need and services to boot from reel/rod care to jig building.

This place has really turned around from what it used to be! If you need fishing rod repair, this is the place to go. I have received good, friendly customer service every visit this year . Prices are competitive with similar stores and in my opinion, the best place to get your fishing rods fixed! I took my favorite rod to replace a broken tip and he was done before I had a chance to browse his store, it was cheaper to get it fixed here than to buy the rod tip online and do it myself
