Great place for camping supplies.Have been purchasing backpacking gear here for a long long time.The staff is very welcoming and friendly.Prices are very good and selection is plentiful. There is parking right out front which is important.

The staff were unfriendly and didn’t offer much help. If you’re looking for vintage uniforms and gear, this isn’t really the place—try The Surplus Guy in San Pedro for that. Oh, and, both clients and staff were swearing left and right…inconsiderate of the kids that we had with us. The prices were okay I guess, and the store was clean. If you want modern clothes and camping gear you’ll find it here, but if you’re looking for historical or vintage collectibles I suggest you look somewhere else.

There are unusual finds here. If you need a good blanket the ones here are better than a home goods store, the camping stuff is good quality. For an independent store prices are very reasonable here. Worth a visit. Staff is very helpful

I love this store, has camping and survival gear. They also have a good amount of MRE and water for emergencies situations, never a bad idea to be prepared for a bad day. The employees were very kind and helpful, they guided me to the Molle pouch I was looking for!

Prices are too high. You do better buying what you need on Amazon. But the staff is friendly and the store is clean. You are greeted with a Sanitizer machine before entering the store and you have to wear a face mask before entering. Thats the way to do it! Stay safe everyone.

Went there to buy some boots for paintball, found tons of other things I could use as well. The store looks small from outside but theyve got a ton of stuff.

They have great camping and military stuff here. Some survival and emergency preparedness items. They also have medals here. I brought my sleeping bag here. This place is huge with cool stuff here. It also has a parking here. Definitely worth going here.

Wont be ever going back here. Really bad customer service. I found a few bags that were a better price somewhere else and called and asked if I could return the bags I bought from there and they said it says no returns on the receipt because of COVID. I even offered to bring the new bags I just bought from the store back to the store so she could put them back on the shelf. She told me that I was buying fake bags and bags have to be from the suppliers. Marshalls told me if I bought bags for them they would take returns.

Just do yourself a favor and walk in. Staff is very friendly, Had a defect Item even though it was all sales final got it exchanged for a brand new one. They went even beyond by field testing it before I walked out with it.

We like shopping here. The employees are super nice, and helpful, knowledgeable. Sometimes the prices seem high, but we pick and choose for best value. Parking can also be a bit rough, depending on time of day. Still, really glad to have this store in the neighborhood.

I go in a few times a year to buy my son a new baseball hat he only likes the fitted not the adjustables and I dont care how hard I try I can never get a size right the first one is always too big so I take it back the second one is always too small so I take it back the third one ends up being just right. Every time I walk in with a return the man behind the counter laughs at me and says you again huh Ive done this for years so its our standing joke but theyre always very helpful very polite very easy. Not to mention their prices on the hats are really good.

I have passed by this place countless times over the years. My wife and I were searching around for survival supplies to replenish our emergency go-bag. There is one aisle with everything you need. MRE, boxed water, canned water, radios, lights, candles and all. They also have pre-made kits.To my surprise, the store just keeps going...and going... There is a room dedicated to just bags and backpacks. If you need a bag...they probably have your solution here. The store layout is a little weird, but once you find your section (or just ask the front desk) everything is really well organized and laid out! The person who helped me was a very nice gentleman at the front.Ill have to come back for rain or camping gear.

You can get almost anything you need, have everything you need for work. It will help you get prepared for winter, rain and they have a nice back brace for $20.00 it is worth it.

The Surplus Store had all the gear I needed for my last camping trip, plus I couldnt help but stock up on earthquake supplies for my car and house... I go in with a few things on my list but end up browsing the whole place and buying more than that (picked up cargo BDU shorts and some glow sticks this time, too). Great find.

The inventory is standard, plentiful, dependable. the staff consistently quick, pleasant - they know the inventory, which is quality. they have chums - the original rope to hold glasses.i cant say enough about this place. start to finish they do what theyre supposed to.they only have one pair(out of 100 total) of waterproof boots - odd, huh? yes, i agree. youd think thered be plenty.

This not the first time Victor treated me with no regard and I hate to bring it up but hopefully the people who run this place get know too . Bought a commando sweater and its gotten size larger and its got fibers coming out it. Even though I explained to him that I washed it cold and I air dry it.according to the label it says even warm wash and tumbler dry low. Victor says I should dry clean only.And he does says I dont care.When it comes to customer service Victor not interested what I had to say. Not relevant to him.I really like this store and I been coming to this surplus store for over ten years. Hopefully the owners know how the customers feel.

Stuff, lots of stuff.Lots of great items here, surplus and new items. Military shirts, camo, medals (dont wear them if you didnt earn them), security badges, random holsters for IDs, flashlights.Some survival and emergency preparedness items. Sleeping bags knifes, handcuffs etc.You can get custom dog tags here.The parking can be kinda tough some times but there are usually spots.Staff is not overly friendly.This place is like a giant closet of military stuff, tshirts, camo facepaint and other items.

This was a quick visit so I didn’t really get to see the whole store. However there was a great selection of dickies products here. I had a hunch to check this place out for more dickies work pants instead of the places closer to where I currently stay. I’m so glad I did check out this place. The only thing I didn’t like is the really weirdo parking lot. The whole block shares a lot with two entry ways on the main road. There was plenty of parking when I arrived however it is really hard to navigate. Great timing for me the guy who was parking next to me when I was leaving helped to guide me out. He also complimented my car as he once had the same car before he mentioned. Also there is no side walk or parking bars . So pay attention or you will end up driver over the curb and into the street. Also the other thing is the fitting rooms do not have mirrors inside. You have to walk out to see. I already know how my dickies fit. It’s just the breaking in period there really stiff when new over time they soften up.
