The staff and the manager of this store are super nice. I went in because it said online they are low in stock of the dumbbells I wanted. The manager checked for me in the backroom and I got the last package they had. The manager even brought the 100lbs package with a dolly to my car. Couldn’t have received a better customer service.

Really nice store with good collection. Came here for floats and was not disappointed. They have the cheapest one from $3 to really good ones too. I got a bucket hat too. Water shoes for all ages and sizes. I could find a women size 5 which is rare. They validate parking for the structure behind the building, so make sure you park there.

They conducted themselves professionally. But, they are not well stocked with items that sell! You might find that what you need is out of stock, small store!

I will say that they are great about greeting you when you walk in the door. However, employees on the floor are usually too busy to ask if you need help finding something, which is kind of annoying. Well, either too busy, or they just dont care to ask. Its hard to tell which.

I got some temporary work boots for very cheap there I think it was like $35 for steel toes although they have no flashlights for sale except for cheap ones thats why Im getting them to beastars where are the flashlights

Smaller then the average Big 5 store, but has all the essentials. Friendly staff and well organized. 4 Stars because of parking being where it is and no security around.

Bought a CamelBack for hiking. It was about time I got one. Great experience. Took a loop around to get a feel, almost bought a Carhart hat (and probably will one day). Found the CamelBack no problem. Checked out quick. To me, Big 5 is TJ Maxx, slanted towards sports and outdoors. Like a treasure hunt in a way, good value, good service. Ill be back.

Yep, Ive been there, the manager is nice, good customer service, staff is friendly. I used to go to the store in Glendale, but this little gem is in my hood and I am really glad its here! I bought a bike here then came back for more stuff, I even got good running shoes too. Hey I wont go back to Glendale, I have all I want here and there is always a warm community welcome for all!

This Big 5 on Wilshire in KTown tucked away in some office building seems really random but is super practical! For example:Didn’t like what you wore to work today? Go to Big 5 and buy some comfy yoga pants or sweats! People can barely tell what you got on when you’re on Zoom.Need something to do while you wait for your Starbucks or food from the place a few doors down? Roam the aisles of Big 5 and spend more money while you’re at it.It’s someone’s birthday and you’re short on shopping time? No problem! They got stuff for everyone here!

Good visit except for the security guard that followed me like I was a klepto-serial thief. Purchased everything I touched and got looked at like a criminal for not attempting to steal.

What would I do without this place. for 20 +years I have enjoyed buying gadgets like a smartwatch before there were smartphones and all kinds of stuff.

I called looking for a Recumbent Cycling bike, was placed on hold for about 25 minutes. Due to this, I am rating at 4. I called again, and Eric was helpful by looking to see if they had any on stock.

I called ahead for a stock check on Champion Hoodies they only had them in black and Heather I ended up line a Gildan sweatshirt that wasnt sale for $14 bucks it was a little bit thicker material then the champion and roughly $35 less I guess I was looking for a better value and I got it

I dont know how many times I drove by this spot without realizing that Big 5 was here. Its in an odd place in Koreatown but they managed to pack a ton of stuff in a relatively small space. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Prices are good. Parking isnt super convenient but given the location its not bad and it is free.

I came in looking for a basketball and a pump and had to find some assistance to get it off the top shelf (even though Im 64). Staff seemed pretty friendly. Found what Im looking for. helpful staff. Its been a look time when I last visited this play. Small place but so many displayed items; i. e. they have added more items. Some display racks are too crowded. need to squeeze yourself. by the way, they have free parking for an hour. get your validation ticket at the counter.

Bought some mid- high Tactical boots. Black Tactical boots are all Ive been rocking the last 5 years because they match everything. Today, I got a pair without the zipper on the advice of the sales lady for under $60. It was good buy. The boots are comfortable and have a lightweight steel toe. Lots of items on sale at this store! Convenient access between Vermont and Normandy.

Ok theres a guy that works there who went above and beyond for me in the shoe department. I think he might be the manager Im not sure but he ordered me the shoes in the size I needed because he had seen me come several times looking for that size. I thought it was a really kind thing to do!

Great bargains throughout the year. Friendly knowledgeable staff and caring security. Was able to return item that didnt meet quality standards and traded for better item with a discount. Shoe sales are unbelievably discounted. Excellent quality of extreme weather attire. Always a sale of some fun item for all year round use.

They have validated parking. If you are from L.A. and know what Wilshire is like, that is very important. This big 5 is compact in size compared to most, so they do not carry a Huge variety of inventory; but enough if an inventory to find what you need, and choose amongst their great prices. Great deals on shoes, including work shoes. You can also find deals on L.A. sport team wear such as L.A. Rams, SC Trojans, Lakers and Dodger gear.They will also have everything else you expect them to carry that is Camping, and out door friendly; Golf friendly, and Fitness friendly.
