After years of wearing ECCO shoes at work, I thought I would change things up a bit and try the Dr Martens oxfords. When I first put them to work, they were super stiff and hurt like hell where the show flexes just below the laces. I didn’t give up on them and wore them just a few hours a day until they broke in. It’s been a little over a week and they are now super comfortable. They are true to size and the folks in the store were very nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend these shoes and I will buy these again without hesitation.

This is the only place to go for Doc Martens. Selection is phenomenal. Wide range of sizes and prices. Like stepping into a Doc Marten paradise. Really friendly, helpful staff. We found exactly what we were looking for. Store occupies several adjacent small storefronts to accommodate their expansive stock. Salesman had to excuse himself, and left us in charge of the store while he slipped next door to retrieve the merchandise we needed. Cashier was next door, too. Real trip!

The woman who helped me was very friendly. Loved the vibe in the store as well!

It took a while before we could get anyone to help us, which was surprising for how small this location is. We ended up going elsewhere to buy shoes.

Really surprised by the other reviews, I had a wonderful experience here. The older woman working there was so helpful when I was trying to find a pair of creepers that fit. Even threw in a free pair of socks for me and my friend. I would return again!

Jessica was super cool! Go see her she was very sweet and helpful! In the middle of Hollywood and not at all snooty. She has the green hair with a cute spider brooch necklace! I hope she sees this we told her we would write a GREAT review!The selection is amazing. Initially went there for creepers by Ed Cox and Tuk; which they had tons of. But ended up gawking at the Dr. Martens selection. Man oh man, the colours and styles were gnarly and out of this world. Decent in price. Sad that most of the women shoes run in small! But will be back!

Buyer beware. Dr Marten shoe lace retail price $3 sold to me for $11. Dr Marten Lace retail $5 sold to me for $13. Look at the actual Dr Marten full retail price before you buy from this OverPriced Mom and Pop place. The sales lady was very nice when I made my complaint. The guy was rude and hung up the phone on me. Needless to say I don’t recommend doing business with these people because they charge three times the price of a retail store and this place is an independent store with No returns!!!!

Very rude employee, he was staring at us the whole time as if we were going to steal a Boot. Thats how we knew who was running the store. When I Asked Him If He Had A Size 5 In One Of The Styles I Liked, He Reply To Me, I Wouldnt Know Until I Go Look For It What Kind Of Response Is That !?! The worst customer service. I rather drive 10 more miles to the next Dr.Martens Store to have a great service than coming back to this store.

The staff are very rude and unhelpful here. They come off aggressive after I asked a simple question. I would recommend going to the silver lake location.

I didnt realize the owner was following me until he almost *ran* me over. I had just made it to the back of the store and he barely missed me... then preceded to stand in front of me. My sister noticed his fly like tendencies before me.We left 5 minutes later.Dont come here.

This is not an official doc Marten store. An associate at the Santa Monica location explained to me that this location is a re-seller, ie they buy left over stock/ shoes/ bags and up price them. I went in a few weeks ago and bought the Iced Metallic 1461 in the pink and paid $149 for them, at the time it seemed weird buy I played it off because id been wanting these shoes for months. I went on the official website and saw they were only $105, I was a little pissed. The guy at Santa Monica said if you want discontinued docs go to this store but remember you will be up priced, the did have the complete Adventure Time line from a few years ago when I went. The guy was cool but he stared at my boyfriend and I the entire time we were in there, not in a creepy way but it was moderately uncomfortable.

Very rude employee. I entered the store and the worker was yelling at some customers as they walked out looking offended, nonetheless I went to the store to buy some boots and the style I wanted was not there. I asked the only worker there if she could bring me a size and she rudely told me a size 7 would fit me. After asking her again, she began yelling and saying that she was helping another customer. Horrible service, do not recommend!!!

I agree with the comment above, very rude employee, she was just staring at us the whole time, as if we were going to steal (really, why would I want just one boot?) they dont carry all the sizes, we ended up buying two pairs and her face changed she was a little nicer, still, the service sucks. :)

Really bad customer service. The salesman was very rude and had a snobby attitude when I attempted to be friendly. He made my mom and I very uncomfortable and left us wishing wed never gone in.
