Ive ordered several pieces from them and am always satisfied with the service. Everyone is very nice and helpful. The only downside is theres no showroom so you just have to hope what youre getting is what you want. Some wooden slats in the bed frame that I ordered broke shortly after having it and they replaced some of the wood pieces because while the bed was almost $1000, it was made of cheap wood.

I looked for a upholstered bed with storage everywhere and couldn’t find a place that wasn’t going to charge me $1600 for the bed, delivery, assembly, taxes, and so forth. Came across this place and decided to go by their office location(not a showroom). Just so I could see who I was dealing with face to face and be a little more comfortable spending my money somewhere I hadn’t heard of before. The guy inside who helped me was pretty cool I read the reviews before hand of him being rude but I don’t believe that’s the case he just not a bubbly person but he has no problem having a conversation with you. He asked me to show him the bed, he pulled it up, I paid for it and we set a date for Saturday. The only issue we had was the store is closed on the weekends and so I couldn’t call to verify which Saturday when I didn’t get a call from the driver. Called Monday morning explaining that I thought they were coming that past Saturday and he apologized and had my bed delivered the same day. The delivery driver was awesome and had my bed set up in no time, even after we spent awhile trying to figure out which direction I wanted the bed so that I could get to all the storage spaces in my small room with such I large bed. Needless to say I LOVE the bed and it was $1000 well spent and I didn’t have a terrible customer service experience. I feel comfortable buying from them in the future and referring others to them as well.

I had an exceptional service from this store. The store representative was very professional and explained everything thoroughly. My order came as promised. Now I am enjoying my living room furniture. Will recommend to all my friends and family. Thank you Melrose Discount Furniture.

Unfortunately, I am unable to leave as good of a review as some of the others. My partner and I are relocating to LA and found this website/company to help furnish our new place. However, after initially placing our order, we received the worst customer service. They canceled our order because there was a typo with the email address despite having our number which could have been used to clarify the issue. After correcting our error and reordering based on their instructions, our order was canceled yet again. This time they stated we dont do 3rd party cards! Even after my partner tried to call and explain the situation, they were not receptive. Specifically, Kevin had the nastiest attitude regarding our situation. I find it difficult to believe that 3rd party cards are not accepted/accommodated as people are allowed to buy gifts for others, are authorized to use/make purchases, have business accounts, etc. This felt more discriminatory than anything else. I am not sure if Kevin was having a bad day or if he is a representation of the company as a whole. If the latter is true, I strongly encourage that to take your business elsewhere!!

Tina was great in helping us create a new sofa. Most of the reviews are on par with all the feedback and the best thing to do is go in and try sitting on all the sofas and talking to Tina on what materials and colors you want and she and David make it happen. The delivery team was awesome and actually lifted the sofa on to the balcony to get it in!! Great service and value!

I had a terrible experience with Melrose Discount Furniture. Kevin (the owner) was very rude and unprofessional. It’s amazing he is still in business. I am a business owner of 20 years and I would not have customers or be as successful as I am today if I treated my customers in the disrespectful way Kevin treated me. I understand we all have bad days, but each encounter I had with Kevin was the same; not pleasant or professional. The photos they use on their website to advertise and sell furniture, does not match up with with what gets delivered to you. I spent a good amount of money plus a $120 delivery fee to deliver from Los Angeles to Orange County) and what I got was not not what was advertised. I was skeptical to purchase anything from Melrose Discount Furniture because the pricing on some of the items they advertise is low (a red flag I should have paid more attention to and gone with my gut, because you get what you pay for). The furniture drawers did not open without a struggle and the color of the furniture (described and in the photos they advertised) was not at all what was delivered. I am now stuck with a piece of poor quality furniture and with a color that does not go with the rest of my decore or furniture. My experience with Melrose Discount Furniture was not a good one to say the least and having to deal with Kevin to try and get a delivery date was painful. He made it very clear he doesn’t need the business. I will not be purchasing anything from Melrose Discount Furniture and I would highly recommend you take caution should you decide to purchase anything from Melrose Discount Furniture.

Amazing customer service! The store layout is very attractive and comfortable. Arthur helped us pick out a mattress and was awesome. Not a high-pressure salesman at all. He was super helpful in picking out the mattress and setting up our order. A million times better than going to a regular mattress store!

Went to modani - they have beautiful furniture and have me a great discount. Brenda was very helpful and even when an item was incorrectly priced they were kind enough to honor the listed price. Prices in general were better than most of what we were able to find.

Spacious 3 floor showroom, plentiful helpful staff.Free parking is a big plus here. If you go during the weekend, the neighborhood is pretty quiet- i.e. No traffic.The products are well made and clean design. I recommend you go here to really see and try the furniture in person and see the material options for a real view of the colors and textures. Im a fan!

Bad experience. Came here yesterday, and no showroom. The guy by the desk offered no customer service and/or wasn’t interested in selling. Maybe caught him in lunch but it was barely 11am. The office was extremely messy and boxes everywhere. Maybe that’s why the prices are very low. Anyways, this was my experience.

Ordered a full bedroom set and they delivered it promptly and built it in no time. The foundation I had lined up fell through, and so I called them the same day, and they adjusted their delivery line-up so that they could ship me a bunkie board on the same day last minute. Top-quality product and customer-oriented. Highly recommend!

This place has a huge variety of furniture in a lot of different design styles. The staff is not at all pushy and will leave you alone while you browse, but theyre also very happy to answer any questions you have. The furniture isnt cheap, but its reasonably priced for the quality. I didnt happen to find what I was looking for when I visited, but Ill definitely be back next time Im looking for furniture.

This is my first experience buying a item from Melrose Discount furniture store. Kevin is nice guy to work with, spoke to him over the phone on last Thursday and placed an order for a sectional sofa and they delivered order today, they delivered it in 5 days, I was surprised with their fast delivery during the covid time, couch is well packed and delivered and installed with great care.

Just came here they do not have a showroom.... I drove all the way here took me 30 mon for nothing not happy guys need to say its online only.... So people know...

I had a great experience with Melrose furniture store I found several dining table sets online and choose the one I really like. Salesperson was very helpful and knowledgeable about the products.  They confirmed that everything I wanted was in stock, and ready to be delivered to me, two days prior my order. Melrose Discount Furniture Inc is Ultra Modern furniture. Sofas look fabulous, but none featured a pull-out bed. All of them attractive and comfortable. If youre looking for a substantial support with thick foam padding and possibly a pull-sleeper you wont find it here.

Max is the best! He was so knowledgeable, helped me find exactly what I needed and gave me a great deal. My parents were so thrilled with my mattress they ended up getting one for themselves as well! Will definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

Excellent, and amazing. I called the store to order a dining table without chairs, as I got the set 5 years ago, and now the table legs were loose. The owner was so kind and he said that I can order it, then he asked me what is wrong with the table, and he offered to take the table to the store to see if it can be fixed instead. After one week, he informed us that the table is ready, but guess what!!? He gave us a new table with no charge.That was unbelievable! We have two small kids and a dog, so we needed our new sofa to balance comfort with durability. The Braxton Sofa has been perfect for us. We love the Key Largo Zenith Teal color (get so many compliments), and the size is great for a family. Cushions are firm but this is an extremely comfortable couch! Already planning next Joybird purchase!
